Akai Build Guide Mobile Legends

akai build guide mobile legends

Introduction

Akai is best used when he is supporting his allies and getting to the front of the fight. He makes enemies focus on him with his shields and deals them a vast amount of damage, thanks to the marks on his passive.

As always, Akai is best used when good paired, so teamwork and coordination are mandatory if you want to defeat all those enemies.

Skill Build

Thousand Pounder (Active)

This is a mobility skill. Akai jumps to the desired location, and upon landing deals 300 points +50% of total physical ATK of physical damage to enemy units around, it also slows them down by 30% for 2 seconds. Also, when Akai deals damage to enemies marked with Blender (Froggy symbol floating above them), they get stunned for an extra 1 second.

The jump can be used to get behind enemy lines, to get across walls, or just as an excellent ambush tactic, so make sure you use it wisely.

Blender (Active)

Akai fires a frog-shaped wave in the direction of the enemies. The wave explodes when it hits the enemies or when it reaches its maximum range. It deals 350(+120% total physical ATK) points of physical damage to enemies and marks them for 5 seconds. Akai’s basic attack on those marked targets deals an extra 5% physical damage to Akai’s max health.

This is Akai’s poking skill, and it great because it deals with a lot of damage to enemies.

Hurricane dance (Active) – Ultimate

This is Aka’s disruptive skill. So, Akai starts spinning like a tornado for 3.5 seconds and knocks the surrounding enemy units, and deals them 180+100% total physical ATK points of physical damage. When using this skill, you remove all debuffs immediately from Akai. He becomes immune to the Slowing Effect in its’s duration and increases his movement speed by 30 points.

It also works as a Purify, clearing all CC and Stun effects on him. Its hard to cancel, unless by Knock Up abilities., like Gototkaca ULT, Mino ULT, or Grock ULT. Hurricane dance can be useful when protecting backline heroes.

Tai Chi (Passive)

This is Akai’s passive skill. And after using it, Akai gains a shield that absorbs 6% of his max health, and it lasts for 2 seconds. This effect is available every 2.5 seconds. The shield makes Akai good at 1 to 1 combat. You can space out the usage of Skill 1 and Skill 2 to allow your shield to tank the damage from the jungle monsters, as Akai’s passive shield has an internal cooldown.

Skill Combos

Ambush: Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Basic Attack (You shouldn’t use ULT if it’s not necessary)

You can use Ambush effectively at the beginning of the game. You wait in the bush until the enemy approaches, then use Skill 2 + Skill 1 fast and try to use as many Basic Attacks as you can.

Wall pin: Skill 1 + Petrify + ULT

First, you jump on the enemy, then Petrify them, and during that short period of time, you should reposition yourself so that you can ULT and pin them against the wall, or if not that, then you can push them in the direction you need them to go not to mess up your whole team’s Skill Combos.

1on1 OP: Skill 2 + Skill1 + ULT (Wall pin) + Petrify + Skill 2 + Skill 1 + Basic Attack

Mark, the enemy, jump on them and stun them, then ULT then and pin them against the wall. Now, the moment the ULT ends use Petrify, that way, you can land your Skill 2 and Skill 1 to Stun them again and then Basic Attack them to death.

I hope that this post was helpful and that now you have a better understanding of how to use the Akai. Of course, you have to cooperate with your teammates to get the full potential out of a hero like Akai.
