A Quick And Short Guide For Wyvern 11 Hunt.
Table of Contents
Mechanics
Wyvern 11 mechanics are quite different from Wyvern 1-10. He spits fireballs 3 times and each of them dispells 1 buff. Fireballs also decrease 10% combat readiness to the unit receiving the attacks. It only attacks the frontline and this is a big change from the other stages of Wyvern.
Any non-water units boosts up his combat readiness to 10% whenever their turn ends and will receive 30% more damage. For the ice units though, they deal 30% more damage to it. That’s all you need to know for its mechanics so let’s jump into the guide.
A Quick Guide Going Into Wyvern 11
Wyvern 11 is easier than doing Wyvern 9 and 10 due to the fact that it only attacks the frontline. So as much as possible, you need your frontline to survive and your healer to help it.
Just stack a lot of defensive stats on your frontline and build your side healer as fast as you can. Also, Daydream Joker for your damage dealer is great to have for this Hunt. Defense Break is a must especially if you don’t deal enough damage to its barrier.
You don’t want to do his attack when he’s back on his turn. He will potentially wipe out all of your units. Team Composition for new players will be a tank/soul weaver, a healer, a dedicated damage dealer, and a defense break debuffer.
MAX Target HP and Def for your frontline is 18k and 1.3k. Numbers under these really just depends on how fast your team comp will complete the run.
Also, make sure your defense breaker is 5% spd higher than your DPS.
Units That Most Players Have or Fairly Easy To Get
- Crozet – A very good tank that you can get by Connections. He has a good base defensive stats and has a % chance to land a 1 turn attack break to minimize the damage from Wyvern. Overall, great frontline for tanking Wyvern’s fireballs.
- Build 3xHP sets.
- Artifact: Proof of Valor, Aurius, Sword of Ezera (Limited Artifact) and Envoy’s Pipe.
- Angelica – Overall a great unit for healing and tanking. She can heal AND be the frontline for Wyvern 11 but will need great stats for it to work.
- Build Spd/Hp sets.
- Artifact: Idol’s Cheer, Water’s Origin, Envoy’s Pipe, Proof of Valor, Rod of Amaryllis, Magahara’s Tome and Prophetic Candlestick.
- Alexa – A 3* unit that can deal massive damage to the Wyvern with a 3* Artifact. Sounds a free to play unit, right? It’s because it is. This unit can do an extra attack on her s1 when it does a critical hit. 2 attacks, twice the damage.
- Build Spd/Crit or Destruction/Crit sets.
- Artifact: Daydream Joker(deals 1.5%, max is 3%, extra damage based off of target’s max hp.)
- Taranor Guard – My, my. This wonderful guy is your utility unit that gives one important debuff to Wyvern: Defense Break. He will def break the wyvern very often since his s2 gives him a 5% increase to his dual attack stat and the debuff is on his s1.
- Build Spd/Hit or Spd/Unity or 3xUnity.
- Artifact: Daydream Joker.
- Tamarinne – Oof. Recommending 5* NON-ICE unit to Wyvern 11? There, there. There’s no need to tell me that. This magnificent fire unit has great utilities that can ignore Wyvern 11’s mechanics completely. Her skillset gives you large heal, a dual attack from your highest attack unit, and a 50% AoE combat readiness for your Wyvern 11 runs. Recommended using as a side healer. Also, many of us have rerolled to just get Tamarinne from the free two 5* hero tickets so I included her here.
- Build Spd/HP
- Artifact: Magahara’s Tome and Rod of Amaryllis.
- Karin – Now. If you guys bought the 900 summer pass, you, my friend, got a very good unit for Wyvern. She can deal high damage, decrease her own cooldowns by dealing critical hits, and she has her own defense break.
- Build Spd/Crit or Destruction/Crit.
- Artifact: Daydream Joker and Rhianna & Luciella.
- Montmorancy – Ever since her specialty change got released, the need for Angelica in people’s wish list decreases. Montmorancy has a very, very nice specialty change that can increase her healing and overall usefulness to Wyvern. So if you have a Montmorancy, get her specialty to change quickly if you haven’t. You will not regret it.
- Build: Spd/HP or Spd/Resist.
- Artifact: Magahara’s Tome and Rod of Amaryllis.
- Furious – Newly added Connection Unit that is great for this Hunt. He has an AoECrit buff so you don’t need to worry about getting 85% Critc on your DPS. Also, he has a two-turn defense break.
- Artifacts: Song of Stars, Sword of Judgement, Daydream Joker, and Rosa Hargana.
- Build: Speed/Hit
As you can realize, I didn’t include Dizzy, Luna, Diene, and Seaside Bellona in this guide because they are Limited units and might not come back for new players but they are great for Wyvern 11. If you do have them, feel free to use them.
Well, that’s all I have for this guide. I hope it will give you insight on what to use and do for this hunt. Have fun and good luck in making through Wyvern 11!
