Introduction
If you’ve passed some time playing Mobile Legends, maybe you have used Fanny at some point. If so, you’ll agree with me that Fanny is the hardest hero to use in the game.
Fanny has a gameplay mechanic that is complicated to use while you are in battle. I mean, it isn’t hard to use the mechanic, it’s hard to use it properly to be effective at killing enemies.
You can guess by my previous words, that Fanny isn’t the most suitable hero for relatively new players who haven’t enough experience. You need to practice very much to obtain a good win rate in the game with Fanny.
Anyway, this guide is targeted at beginner to medium level players who are interested in using Fanny for the first time, so I’ll continue with my usual writing style guidelines. Still, I’ll give you some advanced tricks at the end, so you can start practicing them from the start.
I’ll just give you a word of caution: if you want to use Fanny like an expert, I encourage you to have patience and determination. It won’t be a way of roses.
Fanny Skills
Air Superiority (Passive)
Every time Fanny uses her ability Steel Cable against an enemy hero, she will give him/her a Prey Mark. It also increases Fanny’s damage by 15% – 30%, according to her flying speed while using the cables.
The Prey Mark can stack twice and also gives some energy points to Fanny for each enemy marked.
Tornado Strike (Active)
Fanny rotates and advances as she was a tornado, and causes damage to enemies along her way, dealing 260 Pts of Physical Damage to units within range.
Steel Cable (Active)
Fanny uses her cables to travel across the battlefield, taking her to the first obstacle they touch. If Fanny touches an enemy while using this skill, Tornado Strike will trigger automatically, dealing with damage.
For each successive use of this ability, it’ll decrease its energy cost by 1 point.
Cut Throat (Ultimate)
Fanny advance towards an enemy, performing a quick blow and dealing 500 Pts Physical Damage. This skill increases its damage by 20% for each Prey Mark on the targeted enemy.
Best Spells for Fanny
Retribution
The best spell for Assassins. It will help you farm faster, giving you more gold and, therefore, killing more. Deals 600/1440 Pts of True Damage to Jungle Monsters and Minions.
Inspire
In the case of Fanny, this spell is best suited for pushing towers. Increases the hero’s Movement Speed and ignore 25 Pts of the target’s Physical Defense every eight basic attacks.
Purify
Perfect when you want to tower push without worrying about being crowd-controlled by enemy heroes. Removes all negative effects from the hero for 1 sec. It also increases Movement Speed by 30%.
Fanny Emblem Set
As usual, Assassin is the proper Emblem Set for a hero like Fanny, but many people also use Fighter Emblem for some interesting talents it has.
Fighter Emblem increases some offensive stats, but it also gives Physical and Magical Defense. A talent called Festival of Blood grants an 8% Spell Vamp and an additional 1% for each enemy hero killed. This is good to help Fanny to survive better in early and mid-game.
Best Build For Fanny

It gives a big shield able to absorb damage every 30s. This damage absorption grows as the game continues, maxing out at 1150.
Alternatively, you could change Athena’s Shield for “Blade Armor” if the enemy has more physical attacks.
What You Need To Know To Master Fanny
As general advice when you start using Fanny, try first to practice how to use the cables. Try to learn where the obstacles are on the battlefield, so when you’re in a real fight, you don’t have to waste your time thinking about it.
Try to always maintain a safe distance from heroes with powerful CC abilities, unless you’ve enough level; Fanny can have a hard time against them.
Avoid trying to kill tanks if they’re not below 30% HP. Go instead of squishy heroes.
TIP: I recommend engaging enemy heroes when they’re near minions. Bloodlust Axe will regenerate Fanny’s HP almost completely.
Fanny is good at tower pushing due to her Steel Cable. If you have enough level, go without fear and destroy the enemy towers whenever you can.
PRO TIP: Fanny consumes energy each time she uses Steel Cable. In a perfect world, we’d wish to have no limits on how much we can use the cables. Ordinary players don’t know how to achieve this, but I’m going to show you how you can do it.
With the following tip, you can obtain unlimited energy to use Steel Cable.
When you want to use Steel Cable, you need to check if the enemies are aligned one after another in a straight line.
Keep pressing the button to see the skill marker before launching the cables. If the line pass trough several enemies, release the cables. When Fanny touches the first target, Tornado Strike will trigger, hitting the enemy, and consuming a small amount of energy.
The next enemy, Fanny touches, will trigger the Tornado again, but it won’t consume any energy this time. And it’ll be the same with subsequent targets. This way, you can use your cables as many times as you want to — as long you’re sure you’ll hit several enemies in a straight line.
Follow my advice, and you can fulfill your dreams of being a Master Fanny player. Have the best luck!
