Introduction
Argus the Undying is considered to be among the strongest fighters in the game. He can tank the team for a short period of time while dealing massive damage to enemies, which is one of his most remarkable abilities. We’ll talk about that and more in this article, so let’s start.
Mechanics
In this section, we’ll focus mainly on two things: skill explanation and passive elaboration. Let’s begin with Argus’ passive.
Passive: Warmonger
Argus’ passive states that when he takes or deals damage, his blade strengthens. The lower his hp, the faster the blade charges. And after it gets fully charged, his next basic attack will hit the target twice and slightly slash them too. His passive gives him immense strength and advantage during team fights.
Skill 1: Demonic grip
With skill 1, Argus pulls out a hand and grips any enemy on its way to then move in front of them. Even if he’s not able to hit any enemy target while using this skill, he will still be able to pull himself to the location. Use again: if the enemy gets hit, Argus makes an extra slash to the captured enemy. Use this skill to initiate attacks and to escape enemies.
Skill 2: Meteoric Sword
After a short period of charging, Argus strikes enemies with his demonic blades, which deals with physical damage. It also slows them down by 80% for 0.8 seconds. The blade also curses the enemy, and the curse trail left by the enemy increases Argus’ movement speed while he’s moving on it. Use this skill in 1 vs. one fights and also as a follow up to skill 1 to deal with excellent burst damage.
Skill 3: Eternal Evil
in his skill 3, Argus clears all his debuffs, recharges his blade once, and becomes immune to death for 5 seconds. One hundred of damage dealt by Argus will be converted into his hp after the skill’s duration is complete. It’s suggested to use this skill in team fights when your hp is meager, but make sure to use it with the correct timing.

Recommended battle spells
Inspire – to enhance attack speed, and melee attacks Retribution – to farm faster.
Best Combos
First, use skill 1 to grip enemy, skill 2, finish with a basic attack or use skill three if needed. Use this combo for ambushes and use skill 3 in team fights to get an edge over enemies. Always keep your ‘Blade bar’ charged for the next team fight or gank. Use your skill 1 to initiate your attacks and use skill three whenever hp becomes very low in combat. Keep using basic attacks while using skill three and aim for damage dealers.
Finally, the main recommended lanes to use Argus are side-lanes.
