The Leader of the Armies of the Necrokeep
Leomord is a charge fighter hero inspired by Arthurian Literature along with Odette, Gatotkaca, and Lancelot. He is listed as one of the best Mobile Legends fighters due to the same amount of damage and defense and specializes in Chase and Burst.
He is best at taking down heroes with low HP killing enemies with critical damage. If you haven’t unlocked this hero or would like to master Leomord, then this guide is perfect for you. We’ve listed the Leomord Build Guide for gamers who do not want to enter any battle without a fight.
Build
Recommended Spells
- Purify – is good to use against hard CC heroes like Tigreal and Akai. This spell would instantly remove the debuff effect.
- Sprint – is good to use against enemies with slow effects, such as Angela and Hylus. This spell will also help chase enemies.
- Flicker – most pros use this spell to easily escape in close to death situations and help chase enemies and add more kills.
Emblem
Most users recommend Assassin Emblem over a Fighter emblem. For Assassin emblem, max on Agility and Penetration. You can use Bounty Hunter for additional gold every time you kill an enemy.
A Fighter emblem may not be a good choice since Leomord is not a hard-wearing hero.
Tank
Items
Warrior Boots – use Warrior Boots in the early game for the defense, then change to Tough Boots for long-range damage heroes like Pharsa, Cecilion, Vale, and Odette.
Raptor Machete is also helpful in early games. It will increase Physical attack by 4 points every time a jungle monster is killed and deal true damage. It can stack up to 15 times.
Bloodlust Axe and Queen’s Wings will provide CDR and durability and spell vamp, which can help support in the battle. Physical attack is +70% while Cool Down is +10% Cool Down.
Endless Battle for additional CDR so you can spam skills. This also provides Physical lifesteal and True Damage by 85%. This effect only has a Cool Down of 1.5 seconds.
Blade of Despair is the best item to increase critical damage from passive. It fits Leo’s passive as it increases the hero’s physical damage by 25% for 2 seconds when enemies’ HP is lower than 50%.
Berserker’s Fury is also a good choice to burst damage output. This will increase the heroes’ physical attack by 5% for 2s. Tip: If you stack 2 Berserker’s Fury, you can get a 50% chance of critical damage.
Haas’s Claws is a useful item as it deals with a lot of lifesteal, which can help replenish HP. With Haas’s Claws, you can replenish HP by killing monsters and lessens the time of going back home to regenerate health and mana.
Skills
S1 Momentum
First Skill, AoE, Charging
The first skill gives a shield for Leomord that absorbs 150 up to 300 points of damage and charges his attacks. Physical damage also slows enemies by 40% for 1 second.
S2 Decimation Assault
Second Skill, Blink with damage.
The second skill charges towards a designated location, slowing enemies by 30% for 1 second. This also increases Leomord’s movement speed by 60 points. The physical and magical defense also increases by 60 points. Leomord can also blink through the wall, making it easier to escape from enemies.
S3 Phantom Steed
Ultimate Skill
Leomord’s Ultimate skills call for Barbiel, his horse. With his horse (on Mounted state 15s), Leomord can deal 350 up to 550 points of Physical Damage slowing them by 35%. He can cast his basic attack within a circular area and can deal with damage while moving. With ultimate and passive, he can deal a lot of damage. He is also one of the heroes who can perform a basic attack while moving. Leomord is very strong with Ultimate. He is almost a Tank hero since he can take a lot of damage with his Ultimate.
Passive:
Leomord’s passive can easily kill enemies that have less than 30% HP. His passive also works with jungle monsters and creeps. We recommend that you go solo at level 1 and take the first skill first. Prioritize skill 1 over skill 2, and a good player knows to upgrade ultimate whenever available. Leomord is a good early solo fighter because he does not have mana and can deal with damage in the early game.
Skill Combo
Ultimate + Skill 2 (without Barbiel) + Skill 1 (without Barbiel) + Skill 1 (on Barbiel) + Skill 2 (on Barbiel)
Use your ultimate skill first to call Barbiel and to knock back enemies. Use Skill 2 to get closer to the enemy and then Skill 1 for slow and deal damage. Press S1 as fast as you can twice. The last is your combo on Barbiel.
Leomord is weak without his steed, so focus on pushing your lane and when your Ultimate Skill is on Cool Down. You can use your first skill to harass your opponent. The longer you charge this skill, the higher it’s damage. Leomord is not an initiator so make sure you help your teammates during team fights instead of solo.
Wait for your tank to initiate and position where you can have a good angle to take down more minions and enemies. You can start getting more aggressive towards the late game.
If you do not use fighter heroes, make sure to practice first and play Classic Games before Rank. These Fighter heroes can be tricky to use, so it’s important to understand how their skills work first, just as with any other heroes.
Tip: Always check the mini-map to see teammates and enemies’ location. Mastering the Map increases the chances of winning. And most importantly, never leave your team’s turrents unguarded.
