Mastery Points
Welcome back all. Today’s topic is about power leveling those first ranks of gathering with the addition of mastery gathering is basically a money printer. However, in order for you to start seeing massive yields per hour, you’re going to need some bigger mastery numbers.
I think the easiest and cheapest way to do this is to simply gather, who would have thought. Every rank you get beyond beginner one gives you five mastery points up until you hit Guru 20. After Guru 20 you get 10 mastery per level. This makes power leveling a life skill very profitable in the long run, which makes it worth taking a little bit of a loss at first, you’re gonna need some money to make some money-gathering is awesome, however, because you start to see that revenue roll in a lot earlier than some of the other life skills.
Secondly, the higher your gathering rank is, the higher your chances to not use energy when gathering. Currently the maximum chance to not use energy is 30%. And if nothing has changed from years ago, this is going to cap out for you and master one.
Gathering Location and Rotation For Powerleveling
We’re going to power level our gathering just south of the city Behr. There’s a large patch of wild herbs on the ground, most of them are coverable. You’ll figure them all out after some time. So if you’re planning on pushing your gathering high expect to become good friends with people in this area.

At 421 energy I can pop extra-large energy pot Energy pause and gather for almost exactly one whole hour before running out. So I suggest looking into getting that energy cap up if you’re still below that. It’s worth it if you intend on doing any serious gathering beyond today.
So let’s get our pets out. Get our hedgehog fed up because this skill doesn’t proc starving by the way. Let’s get our buffs on and let’s go. I’m also going to pop life experience and guild buffs. If these are available to you, that’s an additional 25% experience on top of everything else.

How Gathering Experience Is Calculated
The next big piece of information we must go over before we start is how gathering experience is calculated. Rather than the quantity do you have items you’re gathering it’s based off of how many slots are filled in the loot window.
Let’s take a look at one of the pin posts in the life skill discord written by service areas. As you can see, if I gather for wild grass in one slot, I will receive less experience than if I gather two single stacks of wild grass. This is what makes the area we’re going to level in so powerful.
The wild herbs for gathering here have a very large DROP TABLE allowing us to gather many different herbs at once giving us maximum SPL. There are different experience amounts you get for different items, but the mass quantity that the wild herbs provide per hour is just too high for us to ignore.
Experience and Buffs
Gathering Pets – Hedgehog
Tying into this topic, the hedgehog is another massively powerful item for power leveling gathering as well as increasing your overall yield. Basically, this little guy will give you a certain percentage chance to gather again giving you an increased chance to see even more experience mastery quantity. However, it doesn’t have any effect on how much the second proc gives you so it will yield the base amount.
For example, when gathering from moles, you’re gonna get two to four meters zero mastery and the hedgehog can proc allow you to yield another two to four meters.
With over 1200 50 mastery you can see a maximum yield of 16 feet plus four from the hedgehog at once. at tier one and two, you’re going to see about a 30% chance of that rocking as well as tier three being a 40% chance and tier four is a 50% chance you cannot however stack the hugs together sorry guys 50% is going to be the cap.
Things To Buy Before You Gather
Next let’s take a look at our shopping list before we get started.
First, let’s go over the tool. I’ll make this as simple as I can for you. If you have 650 mastery are more wearing life skill gear including the hoe then use that mastery tool if you’re below 650 use the improved hoe until you hit skilled five then switch to the magic hoe after that.
The improved hoe can be purchased some pair for injury, the material vendor, they only have 30 durability so buy a few of these to keep you going until you hit skill five and can use the magic hoe.
If you’re at 650 or above and are using one of the mastery has already been You’re good to go right out of the gate as it has no level requirements.
Gathering Experience Buffs
So now we’re starting to get close to the starting line, we just need a few more things. As far as experienced buffs go, I’m going to use everything that’s available to me to save time.
This includes the try model success reset that I have for an additional 55% on top of everything else. The more buffs you have, the faster you’re going to level. Beyond getting your gathering to plus five, nothing is absolutely necessary. It just saves time in the end.
This is just about power leveling. Remember, seafood cron will be my main food and combined with diverter draft you’ll be at plus five gathering already giving you the fastest gathering time possible.
You also want five extra large energy potions to maintain your energy for continuous gathering.
Beyond that the potion of Swiftness for an additional 20% the secret book of oldman a canister of buff for the more energy and drops and a life book for more XP. I’m also choosing to use the embroidered gathering clothes for more XP rather than manos.
This will reduce your overall profits if you do choose this route, but XP is calculated in a way where this actually gives you more in the long run. plus three is yours.
Sit on an A plus fours come in every now and then and somebody for the love of god please sell me a plus five pets can also give a large amount of experience to.
Mouse Movement
Lastly, before we get started, we need to talk about most movement. Most movement is very important for efficiency in this area.
You can enable it in the settings and this will allow you to right-click on herbs and gather them from a slightly further distance removing the need to travel between each other.
It takes some practice but learns it well if you wish to become a master gather.
Repairing
Next, let’s touch on repairing. If you have a tent you can place it in repair on the fly. If you don’t, there is an NPC in there that will repair for you without Having to travel far. Keep in mind adding a tent will save you 30 seconds per repair. And if you don’t have a branded mouse tool 240 durability, you may be making some very frequent trips down here and this is going to reduce your overall efficiency.
What To Do With The Materials
Because behr has high quantities of gather will you will find that your inventory is going to overload very fast whether you have 3000 weight or not, there are a few ways to combat this. First, you can trash your worthless herbs minus the Firefly flower and the everlasting herbs.
Most of these are going to sell with some given time, but you will gather more than you’re going to be able to sell in the long run so you can just trash them out. Same with the trade items. I do keep the trade items on my main with all the way as I get over 100 per hour and I bring them with me to trade in when I do crates in Valencia. Second, you can use maids if you have them with the camera buff. I can move 2000 herbs at a time and this allows me to hoard my herbs for collection purposes. There are other uses for them but that’s for another Time.
Third, you can use your horse to hold the highest Hermes stack you have reducing the load off your character. I personally use the maids in the horse stacking methods and I keep pretty much everything. Over on this all I’m choosing to trash everything I couldn’t made because of weight restrictions.
Now something I’m terrible at is keeping a close eye on your buff timers utilize your energy potion after you’ve used your first 50 energy and keep the cooldown rolling using every 10 minutes after and that should equal five energy pods per hour. Also, don’t forget your murder and swiftness as well.
Just as a side note, behr can only support one person at a time.
Gathering Profit From 1 Hour Starting From Scratch
So we ended up getting Artisan 2 into about 65% of the way through and about 110 million in drops at the current pricing starting from a beginner in one hour.
These numbers are going to vary dramatically with each of your individual setups. So keep that in mind.
My mastery went up 210 points from this endeavor alone and it yielded a 975 total mastery with everything equipped. I expect to see about an average of 150 million per hour without the herbs, which is pretty good.
I still mixed into my gathering even though meat is far more profitable because berry yields almost four times the experience that he does for just a bit of a dip in profit. So the majority of my time spent getting to guru gathering was spent here, so get yourself very used to it.

It’s also fantastic for quickly leveling off to get that juicy life fame as this is what I did in this instance. You can further power your old setup to master one and leave them at farms for milk gathering as well. There are so many different uses for this.
