Introduction
Welcome to the Black Desert Online’s guide to crystals, their locations, and their uses. Killing mobs in the spawn locations offers a slight chance of dropping crystals.
How to Transform a Rough Crystal into Regular Crystal
Open the Production Activity, select Heating, choose a Rough Crystal and then Start. You must heat a rough crystal used in alchemy, armor sets, and reform stones.
Mud Crystals
Mud crystals are found around the rocks in Glish Ruins, east of Glish.
The rough form is used in ceramic designs, while its regular form can be used in alchemy in Evasion, Memory, and Vigor. Mud crystals can be used for a Grade 1 Armor Reform Stone and Steel Taritas Armor.
Green Crystals
Green crystals are found in and around the caves of Rhutum Outstation, southwest of Calpheon. Use them to create Heal, Ranged Defense, and Vision Crystals from alchemy.
Green crystals can be used for Grade 2 Armor Reform Stone, Zereth Armor, and Garner Traveling Costumes.
Red Crystals
Red crystals are found inside the Khuruto Cave, northeast of Calpheon. These are used in alchemy for Intimidation, Melee Defense, and Patience crystals.
Red crystals are also used for Grade 2 Weapon Reform Stone and Talis Armor.
Translucent Crystals
Translucent crystals are found near walls and fences in Goblin Cave, southeast of Velia.
In alchemy, these are used to make Armor, Siege, and Valor crystals. These are also used as an Agerian Armor and Grade 1 Weapon Reform Stone.
Black Crystals
Black crystals are found in Abandoned Iron Mine, south of Altinova.
Because of its rarity, connecting a node with a city is recommended as sending a worker to gather them for you. Black crystals are used for Grade 3 Armor, Weapon Reform Stone, and the Grunil set.
