Introduction
Today we will go through the beginner’s guide on how to graduate from the season’s server in Black Desert Online. This part of the game might be confusing whether you are a new or returning player. So this article will focus on that and help you with the process.
First step
Before you graduate, you need to have an early graduation slot available. Once available, you first need to finish all your season pass objectives, which you can check on the top right of the screen. If it is not finished, you will not be able to graduate early. You also need to make sure you have used Fughar’s timepiece. The first thing you need to do is to go to Layla.
She is located in Velia, inside the house near the skill instructor. Just talk to Fughar, and you will be instructed to talk to her, and you will get the quests for the season server graduation at the crossroads.
Quests
Once done, go to Fughar, who will hand you a few quests. The first quest is the season’s special gift, “prismatically brilliant dream”.
With this quest for completing the season, you can get the pen capo item or the alchemy stone. You can choose the reward from the current season’s reward or the previous season’s reward and this item will be sent to your inventory which you can wear once the graduation is complete.
The second quest you need to get from Fughar is the season server graduation for the future. This is a simple quest, and Fughar will ask if you want to graduate. Once done, you will get the next quest, the season server graduation into the big wide world. For this quest, you need to make sure that you are on a normal server and not the season server because this quest will change your character to a normal character thus you can not stay on the season server. You will be given an adventure certificate that changes your character from a season to a normal one.
Conversion
Once done with the quest you will be given a box by Fughar, which will help you to convert all your season Tuvala gear to normal Tuvala gear. You can now wear them on your normal character, and Fughar also gives you some extra rewards on top of graduating.
Since you have your full pen tuvala after graduation, you will need to talk to Jetina to exchange your pen tuvala armor for resplendid boss armor. This will allow you to move to the guaranteed pen system.
This in the future, will allow you to convert the pen tuvala armor to tet boss armor which can get from tet 1 and up. This system will allow your character to upgrade progressively. Use the reform gear to turn your season gear into non-season gear:
Jetina and armor exchange
Jetina has a lot of quests, and in her main quest, you can exchange your helmet, gloves, shoes, armor, main weapon, a sub weapon, and awakening weapon. The best part is you can exchange this for the boss armor of your choice. For most new people with tet rank, DR will be the choice.
So the recommended items are
- Griffon helmet
- Dim tree for chest (between tet and pen)
- Bheg for the gloves
- Urugon shoes

Jetina and weapon exchange
When exchanging the tuvala weapon with Jatina, you will get a weapon box, not a one-to-one weapon exchange. This is very reliable and good because, let’s say, you want to go back to the actual character and dismiss this character; you can easily go to Jatina and exchange the tuvala weapon for that box.
Once done, give that box to the character that wants to play, which will correspond to the weapon of the class you are playing. For example, let’s say you are using Nova and feel that you want to use Drakania, get that box, exchange it for the corresponding character, open it and use it. This is important because if not, you will need to buy a weapon exchange coupon and use it each time you exchange the weapon. The choice of weapons is listed below.
- Awakening weapon – Dandelion
- Sub weapon – Kutum
- Main weapon – Kzarka
