In Black Desert Online, your inventory is essential. You may want to have a bigger maximum carry weight or inventory weight for you to be able to obtain more items. You don’t want to receive rewards that you would sell or throw away because you don’t have a choice due to your small inventory limit. This guide outlines all the methods you can use to increase your maximum carry weight.
Ways To Get More Inventory Weight
Armor Sets – Hercules and Zereth Combo
Some armor sets give you additional capacity. If you don’t have that much inventory weight, you can have a better carry weight capacity by just putting together four pieces of armor. They are cheap, and they can give you 250 increases in your carrying capacity.
You can pick up the three pieces of the Hercules Set—the gloves, the helmet, and the shoes. With this, you can have an additional 200 carry capacity for a total of 250. The gloves and the boots also have additional crystal slots. You can use this armor when you go for low-tier grinding spots or for life skilling.
You can combine this with the Zereth Armor. It can give you an additional capacity of 50 and an extra crystal slot. This armor is cheap too.
Crystal Slots
There are three crystal slots that give you additional carry capacity. These are:
- Chest
- Gloves
- Shoes
The chest slot carrying capacity increasing crystal is the Cobelinus Crystal. The base version of this crystal is a 10 million crystal that adds 20 LT to your weight capacity. If you have a bigger budget you may pick up the WON Cobelinus Crystal that costs 88 million silver as it gives you 50 LT increase, and it could take the chest piece up to 100 weight increase.
For the gloves, you choose the Magic Crystal of Infinity – Strength. It gives you the highest increase where it can give you 15 LT per crystal, and you can put two crystals in the gloves that you equipped. It is also very cheap.
For the shoes, you use the Hystria crystal. It also has multiple tiers, and the lower tier has 20 LT increase, and the highest tier has 50 LT increase. The Hercules shoes have two crystal slots to put in these crystals so you can go from an additional 40 LT to an additional 100 LT.
Belt
There are so many different belts, but the belt that will give you a substantial increase in your weight limit is the Manos Golden Coral Belt that you can upgrade up to PEN, every level that it goes up, the carry weight increases with 100 LT. They come at an expensive price though.
Alchemy Stones
There are several alchemy stones, but the ones that can give you an increase in LT are imperfect, rough, polished, sturdy, sharp, splendid, or shining. All of these stones can give you additional LT depending on their tier, but you have to activate the alchemy stone to get the inventory weight increase. You can do this automatically by checking the checkbox in your gear section.
Additional Ways To Increase Weight
You may also increase your maximum carry weight by increasing the level of your strength.
What you can also do is talking with the trade manager. Talk to the trade manager and click on Trade, and purchase the Wishing Kite and equip it. Walk around with it(you can auto path), and you will gain strength points with it.
- Tamers also start with 25 LT additional carry weight limit with the fortune’s blessing passive
- Foods such as Cron meals also increase carry weight temporarily and some elixirs/draughts(frenzy, beast)
- You can also buy weight increase from the Pearl Shop under the function tab
- Fairies also can increase the maximum weight you are allowed to carry with the feathery steps skill up to 125%
