It takes so much time to grind out and level up these life skills; therefore, you might wonder about the quickest way to level them up. Read more below to find the most optimal way to level your life skills the fastest.
Leveling through Byproducts
Because of all the changes and buffs to artifacts and lightstones, using byproducts to level up your skills is now a viable way to level up. The four skills in question are Cooking, Alchemy, Gathering, and Fishing. You can level up these skills to professional by just turning in these byproducts.
The byproducts that you produce from using these skills include Witch’s Delicacy (Cooking byproduct), Mysterious Catalyst (Alchemy byproduct), Fairy’s Breath (Gathering byproduct), and Torn Net (Fishing byproduct). You can store these items and sell them to different NPCs to gain experience points for life skills.
Go to the following NPCs to turn in the different byproducts:
- Witch’s Delicacy – Go to Olivia in the Tavern and talk to Nadia Rowen
- Mysterious Catalyst – Turn in to the Imperial Delivery NPC
- Fairy‘s Breath – Exchange with Dalishain in any major city
- Torn Net – Give to Crio in Velia
Another basic item that can be turned in is weeds, which you can get from hunting and gathering. To exchange them for XP, go to Lara in Heidel.
Meanwhile, through farming, you can also get caterpillars and twigs. You can exchange caterpillars with Abelin in Velia, while you can turn in twigs to Adrian Loggia, also in Velia. Note that you can only do this once a day.
Daily Routine For Fast Lifeskilling Levelling
To ensure that your time is not wasted on leveling up your life skills, here’s a routine you can do daily when you start your day in BDO to advance in the game through various life skills.
- Cook workers’ and pet’s food, since you will need to eat this a lot.
- Gather corn and pork in the Northern Wheat plantation to reduce travel time and obtain Fairy’s Breath.
- Use your corn and pork in cooking to obtain Witch’s Delicacy.
- Produce Verdure Draughts through Alchemy to try and obtain Mysterious Catalyst
- Obtain ingredients to use for Medicine Boxes
- Get all the boxes and trade them in to get Fairy’s Breath and Mysterious Catalyst.
- Make Balacs Lunchboxes to hit the delivery limit through gathering citron for about an hour.
- Make meals and change the recipes and lunchboxes made daily.
- Mine at Pilgrim’s Haven to obtain rough stone and material for Jewelry Boxes and Cooking Utensils
- Sell everything that you obtained throughout this routine (Fairy’s Breath, Witch’s Delicacy, Mysterious Catalyst, Torn Net)
