Black Spirit Questline
First off, if you are a new player and it’s your first time leveling up a character and playing the game, we recommend to Black Spirit Story Questline, which is a little bit boring and frustrating for new players.
It is essential to complete this questline because it gives you proper gear that will help you progress further in the game. Without the gear, you will struggle a lot during your leveling, and this is not an efficient way to level up. With that said if you don’t want to do the story questline, here is the leveling guide:
BDO Leveling Guide
Tutorial Level 1-15
After you have done the tutorial part, and you have killed the imp boss for inventory slots you should be level 15.
Moretti Plantation Level 15-20
Go southeast to Heidel and to the Moretti Plantation (considering that you have now level 15-16).
Castle Ruins Level 20-23/24
Stay there and do the quests until you reach level 20 after that head southeast to the Castle Ruins and level up there for 2-3 levels. But you can stay there until level 24 for the XP buff because it is a nice zone and it is easy to farm).
Bloody Monastery Level 24-28
After that, you should go southwest to the Bloody Monastery. This is considered one of the best early leveling spots due to the high amount of XP. Stay there and grind your XP until level 28-29.
Orc Camp Level 28-32
After you have reached level 28 head NorthWest to the Orc Camp location, stay there for another two levels. You can stay there more if you want to reach level 31-32 using the 200% XP daily buff.
Khuruto Camp Level 32-38
After that, go to Khuruto, I would recommend going to the Khuruto Cave doing the two pastures. It will give you a lot of experience, and you will be around level 38.
Refugee Camp Level 38-40
After that, go west to the Refugee Camp and grind there for two levels.
Marni’s Lab Level 40-44
After that, you should head to Marni’s Lab. Start at the base of the mountain and progress al the way up and leave this place when you have reached level 43-44.
Primal Giant Post Level 44-48
The journey seems to be almost over, but there is more to explore and to grind. Go a little bit southeast to the Primal Giant Post and farm there four levels.
Catmanfish Camp Level 48-50
When you are 48 head west to the Catfishman Camp for two levels 48-50.
Manes Level 50-51
Immediately leave when you get to 50 and go east to the Manes in Mediah, an excellent place for early griding. Still, it gets harder, so I would recommend you that you should have your points skill selected correctly and enough gear. Otherwise, you won’t resist fighting with the elite mobs. Stay here until you get 1 level.
Iron Mine/Helms/Elric Shrine Level 50-56
After that, go the Abandoned Iron Mine, where you can get Asula set pieces, here, at Abandoned Iron Mines you can get the necklace. For the rings and earnings, you can go to Helms Post after you get these items to go to the Elrics Shrine to grind for the belt and to finish the Asula set. By that time, if you have not reached level 56, you should stay at Elrics until you reach level 56 and then complete the Awakening Quests.
