Black Desert Top 6 Beginner Classes

Black Desert Top 6 Beginner Classes

Introduction

Today we will look at the top 6 beginner classes in black desert online. There will be an explanation about each class and why it is good to be chosen, but it is down to your preference on what class you like and think is easier to play. As this is a very long game, the class you choose will determine how much you will love this game as you will be playing this class for a long time.

What Makes a Class Good For Beginners

APM

Video of the game with immense depth and content in each class. Some classes are more complicated than others but require much more effort. APM (Action Per Minute) is the keystroke you make, and every mouse click you do is called an action. Some classes need more input to bring out full potential and damage rotation than others. So it is wise to choose a class with lower APM as it is easier to pick up and learn the rotation. This is a consideration as classes with higher APM are also good but tougher.

What Kind of Content Do You Want?

Another major thing to consider is the content you want that can interest you with the game. Naturally, in this type of game, we might want to explore every option, but each has its ups and downs, and we need to carefully see which will give the best content, like the life skiller or grinding

Class Longevity

Some classes are super strong early, and you can easily one-shot kill all the mob around to progress faster. Some classes are more dominant in later games, and those stronger earlier will fall off. So it is important to balance the class, so you do not suffer in the early or late games.

Classes

Guardian

This is the most recommended class for beginners as it is phenomenal for a new player. Although this game is complicated, the guardian is the exception for its awakening specs. She has very few skills and has something called lingering animations.

Her animation is pretty much longer for some skills than in other classes. For example, when you hit shift Q, you hit god incinerator, and she does the entire animation, which takes a long time. At the same time, you can go through the crimson tree or adamantine tree for a Striker. The Striker will hit three or four skills at the same time you are hitting the god incinerator.

This class also has a very low APM and is suitable for new players. For example, when doing a striker at its peak, you can do 75 APM; when you are grinding as a Guardian, you can do around 35 to 40 APM. That means I am putting nearly half the amount I need for the Striker than for the Guardian, and still, she does very well.

She is on the high end of the PVE tier, slow-paced has large AOE, and powerful damage. Succession Guardian is the alternative for 1v1 PVP. Sucession is quicker, does more damage, and has protection damage but a higher APM. Guardian is the class for you if you want something effective and chill to grind.

Witch or Wizard

These are the go-to classes for beginners before some other new classes came out. We have bundled them together as they are quite similar in all features. They have great AOE, decent mobility, and much utility in PA, heals, regenerate mana, and slow. This is a perfect class for beginners, especially when playing awakening. The succession specs are a bit more intensive than awakening. Wizards’ skills are more AOE around him.

Meanwhile, witch skills are more projected out AOE. It is recommended to go for a witch if you are going more PVE and go for a wizard if you are going more to PVP. Both can do vice versa with just a few minor differences. Both wizard and witch are considered mid-tier in end-game PvE. They also excel in large-scale PVP because they have a massive long-range AOE.

Lahn

She is one of the best classes in black desert online, as her PVP and PVE potential are very high. Succession is the preferred grinding spec and is mighty in the early and end games. She has great AOE, insane mobility, and very good damage.

She is also one of the lower APM classes. This means you will put less effort when compared to other classes and, at the same time, pull more trash loot. Her awakening is the preferred spec for PVP because her succession does not have a grab. She has great mobility and is considered a one-trick pony. She is also one of the top-tier duelists in the game for 1v1 PVP. It is recommended you start with succession for grinding and then move to awaken for the PVP

Corsair

She can fight in close combat and long-range, giving you a better option as a beginner—one of the more unique classes in this game. She is also a pirate and a mermaid!

She can slide toward her enemies and can ride the waves. Her attack is powerful but needs good positioning, which can be learned.

Nova

Nova is one of the fastest classes on land with its awakening. This class is great in all stages, and the player is recommended to start with succession. The grind with succession is very safe, has a nice aoe, and is well protected, making it easier to move into mid-game.

Once you are confident enough, you can try awakening. Awakening pulls in a lot more trash loot per hour in the end game and is one of the top-tier grinders. It is more oriented to 1V1 on a small scale regarding PVP. Succession and awakening both have access to long-range grabs in the pre-awakened stance—a phenomenal class all-rounder.

Sage

Sage is a phenomenal class, very underrated by players. It is one of the most recent classes and one of the flashiest classes.

This class has some great animation, has some powerful AOE, and is very powerful in all game stages. The succession and awakening have distinct differences in their play style, but both are very good for beginners. This class can excel anywhere, and the awakening spec has a range grab that is lethal in PVP. It has a large AOE, great mobility, and powerful damage. He is also very strong in 1v1 PVP on a small or large scale.
