Today we will talk about Merchantry, what it is, and how to play.

What is Merchantry?

Merchantry is a side mini-game within Black Desert Mobile, allowing you to take resources and material from one town to another and trade those materials for profits.

During the game, you will have the opportunity to collect resources from completely different tasks using your workers.

The global vision of Merchantry is different from the Asian servers. Still, since we cannot access those servers, we will have to figure out our differences.

How to find Merchantry

To find Merchantry, it will be in your camp option, but your Main Storyline quests have to be fully completed up to X Marine, and you do need to have your trading post completed.

You are going to have the option to build two wagons. However, you would need to have your level of Merchantry up to level 10, which is just a very high level.

You can manage those wagons, see how many are available, the capacity, and how much the horse is going to eat during the trading travels. You can also change the name of the horse. You can also change the horse on the wagon if you wanted a different horse for any reason.

You can also manage the escorts, which are the workers that come with you on the trade. You can change them by analyzing vitality, strength, and dexterity too.

At the bottom of the screen, you would see the Daily Food Supply, which is the amount of food you can carry per trade, which will be the amount of food that the workers would be consuming during the trade. So you can make one trade per day and not just keep on trading until you run out of food, unfortunately.

Your first Merchantry

Now that you are all set, you have the wagon on, the horse, and the workers, and you are excited to see how this goes!

So, you are going to want to go to the first town, which is Velia. But first, you will want to make sure that you have the Amity Map with all of the world’s trade workers in each town, which will be the people you will be talking to.

Now, if you click on Rapport Exchange List, you can see every Amity Benefit with each Amity NPC. By reaching 100 Amity points, you will earn 30 Rapport points. You will earn Rapport Points every time you exchange Trade Goods, and when those Rapport points increase, you will have more options to buy and choose from this list.

If you do not make any trade for 3 days, your Rapport Points start to drop.

So first thing first: make sure you take those Amity points to 100 to have premium trade goods. After that, start to buy and sell every day to get more rewards, and also, you do not risk that your Rapport Points start to drop.

The Trading Shop

This can be very complex. However, let’s try to make it simple.
There will be three options at the top of the right-hand column: Buy, Exchange, and Sell.

The Exchange option is the most simple one. You will use it to exchange material for other material. It can happen that you will find decent stuff to exchange. This all depends on your situation and what you are looking to receive.

The Buy options are where you can buy the material, it sounds simple, but it is pretty important to buy food at this moment because it is the only moment where you can provide food for the team while in Merchantry.

When you are buying other goods than food, pay attention to the value rate. When you learn to read those stats, you will realize that sometimes it is good to buy something that will go up on price the next time around, when you will be selling it.

When you go to the Sell option, you can check which other vendors are selling.

The world map inside Merchantry

You will see that in Merchantry, you have three different choices, Check Merchandise, Auto-path, and Set Destination. Right up those choices, you will see the amount of silver and the amount of food.

The amount of food that it takes to get to that specific destination, the amount you will make at that destination if you sold the item above that you have in your wagon. If this last option is empty, it means that you do not have anything to sell to those destinations.

You can see what you can buy and sell in that location on the Check Merch option, but remember, not every item is sellable, and not every item is buyable in each location. So make sure before buying a trade good in one town, check if you can sell it in the next town.

Travel

At the bottom of the screen, you have little notes that say: Normal, Magic, Rare, Unique, and Epic.

As you go through town, you will encounter those notes on your paths, and you will have the option to open them and read the benefits. If you think the benefit would suit you, you can go around and collect the notes. We think that it is a really good way to be leveling up workers in the Merchantry world.

You consume 50 food every 30 seconds on the travel, but zero when you reach the town. The notes that you collect will give you 75 of the foods.

Greetings Adventurers! Have you grown tired of the Witch? Would you like to overthrow her reign of power? You’re in luck! Here we will outline all of the Sorceress’s strengths and weaknesses in this guide. She is the newest member of all the classes that have arrived at the server. Let’s dive in.

Strengths

The Sorceress skills consist of mostly burst damages. With that burst damage, you can wreak havoc and kill more enemies in a short period. You don’t have to worry about the casting because she doesn’t have that much. You need to level her up to gain her full strengths.

One of her strengths is she has a lot of takedowns and bounds. Most of her skills are takedowns that you have to unlock with a darkness shard. Leveling up a skill is required to make a combo. For example, the midnight stinger needs a shard to inflict a knockdown. The second hit will result in a knockdown.

The next strength the Sorceress has is the Unholy Smite, which abounds hit. What’s great about this is she goes from midrange section into mele’. Her Shadow Implosion contains a knock-up.

The Phantom Crash is another bound hit strength of hers. You come from a midrange and go to a mele’ range just to bound the enemy you’re attacking. Next, you have the Doom Vortex, which is a knockdown strength. You need to level it up to imminent doom so you can cast it. You don’t need to wait for your character to cast it since you can throw the skill on demand.

The Flashbang also has a knockdown in it and is yet another of her strengths. Both the Doom Vortex and Flashbang are long-range knockdown skills. Her Wrath of Chaos is also considered a knockdown skill. Most of these skills are knockdowns, knock-ups, and bound.

Farming

The Sorceress is very sound and efficient attacking with farming. Most of her attacks are AOE. Some of the skills she uses with the dark shard are very good for farming. She is so effective at this; it’s almost as good as the Witch.

She does have a deceptive attack that can come in handy. Once you max her skills, it’s possible to obtain up to 130 orange fragments. This is close to what you could achieve with the Witch. I still consider the Witch as the best farmer.

The fact that she has an evasive attack is unusual for a mele’ attacker. She gets invincibility and stunts the target on it. This gets up to two charges, as opposed to a range that can reach three. You need to get her level to 16 to receive the extra charge. When you get caught up with a mele’ attacker, it works well. This is especially true when fighting a giant.

Dodges

The Sorceress’ dodge tactic is a teleport style one just like the Witch has. This is an advantage for when you need to escape places. She has a ton of super armors. In her Phantom Crush, she activates her super armor. Within the Unholy Smite, she has a forward and frontal guard.

The Unholy Smite is good for PVP and GVG. Her eye frame allows her to become temporarily invisible when making an attack. This way, the Sorceress gets immune to the attack except for grabs. A skill such as this allows her to attack without interruption. It also gives you a vast window to unleash your special skills.

Weaknesses

All of the classes come with some type of weaknesses. The first weakness of the Sorceress is that most of her strength attacks require the dark shard. She regenerates dark shards every 10 seconds. Once she has already used her dark shards, she loses the ability to unlock certain combos and damages related to that skill.

For instance, when you use a shard for the Midnight Stinger, it has an attack that causes a knockdown on the second hit. The Midnight Stinger has three charges. She only gets three dark shards. Once you use all of them, she no longer can add different attacks. This becomes a disadvantage.

Heal

An additional weakness the Sorceress has is that her heal gets taken. I don’t understand why the developer felt the need to take it away. If they were going to do away with it entirely, what was the point in having it in the first place?

Losing her heal decreases her farming skills and makes her worse in that regard. For example, when farming on Cron Castle, you need 3100 CP. Even if you are far ahead of the map with the CP you have, it still requires a bunch of pots. With her heal taken, you’ll consume an excessive amount of pots. This eventually becomes her greatest weakness.

Short Range

Also, most of her attacks are short range. This becomes a problem when fighting rangers in the arena. She’s difficult in these situations because she has a short evade attack. You can only time in one or two skills to get close to the ranger. When competing against his combos, you’ll have a hard time due to the numerous short-range attacks she has.

The Sorceress’s last weakness has to do with her combos. Sometimes when you run or teleport to your enemy, there is a quarter-second delay. Even by this time, she still hasn’t cast her skill because she has to take a stance. There’s a learning curve to figure out her PVP combo. Most of her weaknesses you can adjust to, except for her loss of heal.

Building a Sorceress

Now that you have decided you want to build a Sorceress, how do you do it? The first tip is to level her. You need to max her skill as much as you can. Most of her skills are depending on the passives is the reason why.

You have to obtain lots of movement and attack speed. Keep questing until level 50/55 and do life skills on her. This is crucial to have the ability to maximize her combos.

Most of the cooldown related passives are available at higher skill levels. Such as; Implosion, Shadow Eruption, Doom Vortex, Singularity, and Wrath of Chaos. Some of the skills also give additional charges on higher levels, like Dark Shift, Miasma, and Midnight Stinger.

Branches

Next up, you need to take a look at the branches. This is the skills placement area. You can add different skills to each of the branches. Branches include Aal, Serrett, Lebreve, and Ahib.

When you’re just starting, you need skills that inflict a lot of damages. The best branches to place skills early on are Lebreve and Aal. That’s because these are the branches best used for leveling up. Once your skill levels get higher, you can switch to Serrett.

Skills

Serrett and Lebreve are ideal for farming. When you have the level where you can two-hit the enemy, this is the time to switch to Serrett. By doing this, you can kill more in a shorter amount of time.

For the late game stages, you should only be using shin, Labreve, and Serritt. It’s best to use only your primary skills at this point. These include; Wrath of Chaos, Doom Vortex, Unholy Smite, and Phantom Crush.

The Wrath of Chaos can be used with everything. Doom Vortex has a knockdown, and it is ranged. The Unholy Smite has an awesome combo. This combo knocks down the enemy, and you get super armor with it. Lastly, the Phantom Crush has a very low cooldown and is also ranged and charged skill.

Other Essential Skills

What you want to put together next are additional skills. The Miasma is useful for targeting a lot of enemies. This skill has three charges, with each charge containing three attacks. That makes it an excellent way to farm. Implosion is a useful skill to use because it has a low cooldown. When you add a shard with it, it has a 20% increase in attack range. Implosion also knocks up the enemies’ hits. The Shadow Eruption simply inflicts a bunch of damage.

Next up, Singularity, which has a good casting time. This is excellent for Boss Crush and Dungeons. Mainly because it’s a long-range attack, and this gives you an advantage against their mele’ styles.

The Soul Siphon decreases the power of the enemy’s attack. The Dark Shift isn’t of much use with only one charge on it. When you battle bosses, you need to use a lot of armored skills.

PVP

The Flashbang is for long-ranged attacks and takedowns. Soul Siphon will decrease AP. Your Dark Shift will be better with two or more charges. For PVP, the Midnight Stinger should be considered optional.

You should use Shadow Eruption after the enemy hits the ground. This is ideal because there isn’t any super armor with it. If a skill doesn’t have super armor with it, you should only use it for knockdowns and after the enemy is bound.

If you’ve played Black Desert Mobile, you will be aware of the importance of completing quests and mobs, but you might not be mindful of the daily tasks you can do every day you log into the game.

This guide will walk you through the daily tasks you should be doing in Black Desert Mobile to give you the edge over other players through the extra rewards you can earn on a daily basis. All these daily tasks can be completed in under 15 minutes, so even if you don’t have a lot of time to play, you can maximize your output and not fall behind.

Events

When you first log into the game, be sure to check out any events that are going on. There are usually a few to do, so check thoroughly. These change each day, so take a few seconds to check this out as it can inform what quests and tasks you do in your time playing the game.

Inventory

Once you’ve logged in, travel to a town or settlement as soon as you can to get to buying and selling to sort out your inventory. When you first log in, you will have a full inventory of items you set your character to farm, so you need to get rid of these to open up your inventory slots to acquire new items.

Head to a merchant and sell the items you have farmed right away so you don’t waste time emptying inventory slots when questing or, worse, spend the farming you will be doing when you log off the game. Also, take the chance to check for items you can fuse to free up space and help out in other tasks you will be doing.

While at merchants also take the chance to top up on essential consumable items like potions. Doing this at the start sets you up for questing or farming and saves you worrying about being low later when you need them. Better safe than sorry! Skills

Next, you will want to use all your Skill books. You want to do this early in your login as skill takes up a lot of Weight in your inventory and also takes up a lot of item slots, which cannot be used to store other items. Get this out of the way, and you’ll free up a lot of valuable space.

Dark Energy

The final part of inventory daily tasks is to go to Dark Energy and turn all the junk drops you have collected into Dark Energy. While you’re here, make sure you click completely for Dark Spirit Quests here to get the rewards and open up the next quest, so start the next one!

Collecting rewards

The next daily task is to click on the top right of your screen to open up the Collect Task Rewards window. This will show you all rewards you have earned by completing quests, so be sure to check everything and collect them all.

Be sure to claim your free Lightstone draw, and go to Pearl Shop to claim your free accessory. In the accessory section, be sure to check if there are any you want to purchase as they will change, and you can make a nice profit if you pay attention.

Collect Mail

It is essential to check and collect your mail every time you log into Black Desert Online. This will usually include a free item from the developers, which is always welcome. As well as this, the mail is where you collect your Friend Points.

Guild

Next, go to your Guild tab and check-in. Make sure you do this every time as it rewards you.

Once you are here, make sure you check the Guild quests that are available. Check these out carefully as they can give you a fast and easy experience to help you level up. For the highest efficiency, you should accept the Guild participation Arena quest and clear boss rush one-time quest as you will likely be doing these each day anyway.

You can complete up to three Guild quests each day, so pick one more to do as your Guild gains rewards from its members completing three quests a day. This adds up quickly and helps your Guild out a lot.

Manor

The first thing to do here is to bring back all workers to get your resources. Also, check your Refinery for stone found.

While doing this, pick up any items you can find and collect resources on all your buildings. Also, check out if you can craft anything with your new resources.

In the vein, make sure to set your workers to collect resources you need, such as ore. This will use up your food, so collect food from your garden and replace what you need to. Check your barn for milk at this point, too, as it can help you out if you’re getting low on food.

Node Manager

When you open the screen, click on the right to claim everything. Collect the empty tent right away as another one may spawn. Next, do your goblins. Now you need to organize your workers and the nodes they farm at, so choose carefully what you want to collect, like Skill books. Now find the fortune on the road if it is there, and that’s all for this section.

Gathering

Now, choose the resource you want to collect, like Iron. This is important to do to complete your Guild quests to get the three daily quests done.

Farming

Finally, you want to set your character up to farm and grind while you are away from the game. The location will depend on your level and class, so check out other guides to find the best place for you. And that’s it – everything you need to do when you log into Black Desert Online.

The Giant is a large, intimidating class in Black Desert Online with strong attacks and a massive presence. The Giant is a surprisingly complex class to play, so be sure to read this guide carefully to learn the pros, cons, and best strategies for playing as a Giant in Black Desert Mobile. Soon you can be crushing all foes in your path with killer combos and crowd control no one can escape.

Pros

There are many advantages to Giants in the game at the moment. Giants can be played in many different ways due to their skill set. Giants have high mobility, great damaging combos, and hard crowd control for excellent PVP battles. This makes the Giant perfect for many different situations, especially against other players. 

Giants can be played in a few roles, as a tank or the primary damage dealer depending on your team composition. Giants can be a real pain in PVP as they have many super armor skills that make the crowd controlling them and pinning them down very difficult. Giants are also capable of wielding dual axes, which can be a very fresh look if that appeals to you visually.

Cons

Of course, the Giant also has some disadvantages. Although very strong in PVP, Giants find it very hard to farm effectively compared to other classes making it hard to get loot quickly. Giants also have no real self-heal, so they can discover sustaining themselves difficult. 

Another disadvantage is that Giants do not currently share off-hand weapons with any other classes, making them less helpful when trying to level for (or as) an alt account. The Giant also has a huge character model, so you will be easy to see and target, so be aware of this. 

Giant Class Skills

Let’s look at the primary skills of the Giant class. Again, the Giant’s abilities are mainly useful for PVP and are less reliable in PVE situations. 

Strong attacks for PVP include 

1. Weakling Hunt that has a stun. 
2. Falling Rock which has excellent mobility 
3. Predatory Hunt which has a CC immune jump 
4. Earthshatter that buffs your defense 
5. SmackDown that is purely for PVP 
6. Fury of the Beast that has a great stun 
7. Daze and Beastly Wind Slash gives functional mobility with a short cooldown. 

Skills best to PVE include Raging Thunder, which is excellent for AFK farming. But as you can see, the Giant is mainly a PVP class. Giants have the opportunity to execute powerful combos, stunning opponents, and doing massive damage when played correctly, so be sure to check what each skill does for the best effect. 

Farming With Giant

As a Giant, the main issue of farming is your lack of range. Most of the other classes have a better range than you, and if you get there too late, you will effectively just be helping other players with their kills and not getting the benefits for yourself. 

The goal is to hit as many enemies as possible with your spin attack and to buff yourself. Grabs are less critical as you are not focusing on individual targets when farming, so they may not be worth your time. Draw in as many mobs as you can and use your devastating damaging skills to keep them close and take them down quickly. 

Giant Stats

To get the most out of the Giant class, you need to focus on maximizing Attack Speed, then Critical Damage, and the Crit Chance. This lets you do the most damage and be the most effective leveler you can be. Movement speed is not essential, so don’t worry about this at all. 

Branch Damage

The four branches for Giants are Aal that increases skill damage, Serrett that increases the number of targets, Ahib increases the chance of extra damage, and Labreve the increases skill crit chance. As a Giant, you want to focus on Aal as a priority as it starts higher than the others, and it is used by most of your abilities so that you will gain more from it.

The other one to focus on is Labreve. You do not gain much from Serrett or Ahib, so level them if you like but do not make them a priority. Aal and Labreve will be used by 90% of your abilities, so it makes sense to level these as much as you can. 

Giant Armor

The best choice for Giant armor is the Grunil Armor, even though it is significantly more expensive. Cheaper options can work, but investing in the best armor will make a difference.

A cheaper alternative could be Ultimate Talis Armor, but when scaling comes into effect, there is a massive difference in the stats it provides if you can make the investment and go for the best armor possible.

Gems

Be on the lookout for purple gems to get the best stats – there is little reason to go for higher as the chances of getting them are too low. The ideal stats is +7 attack, and the perfect secondary stat is branch damage increase like Aal +3%.

Other gems are usable, but you want to maximize the damage you can do as a Giant, so look for gems that give extra attack and damage to the Aal or Lebreve branches.

Contribution points are a valuable currency in Black Desert Mobile, but how it works can be quite hard to understand. This guide looks at what Contribution is, what Contribution is used for, and ways of farming Contribution to help you get the most out of the game.

What are Contribution Points?

Essentially, Contribution is an essential form of currency in the game and can be used to rent Relics and hire and promote workers. You can see your Contribution points and level from the Wealth menu at the top of the screen.

Now we will look at what you can purchase with Contribution and why they help you out in Black Desert Mobile. You want to want as much Contribution as you can, so you spend it on other benefits.

Items and Pubs

Buying a particular item is one of the main benefits of Contribution points. Most towns will have a character you can rent Relics from – you will know this as you need to rent Relics as part of the main game quests. When you get further in the game, you will have the option to trade Relics and Contribution for other, better Relics.

For example, in South West Calpheon, you can exchange your Defense Relic and Contribution points for an Attack Relic, giving you a much better item that will help you out in the game. This is expensive in Contribution points, but it can be worth it.

Another meaningful way you can use Contribution is to buy houses and other buildings like pubs – this is where you can hire people to work for you using your points. We will look into this in more detail later in the guide.

How to farm Contribution

So, how do you gain Contribution in this game?

Below are the best methods for farming Contribution quickly and easily.

Repeatable quests

One primary way to farm Contribution is to complete repeatable quests killing 100 mobs, as they usually reward you with Contribution points. This works but takes a long time to gain Contribution, about 50 to 90 points in an hour or so. Fortunately, there is a better way to earn points faster.

This method still uses quests but in a more efficient way. To do this, find a repeatable quest to kill a low number of mobs. Even better if they are at a low level and you can kill them very quickly. This means you can earn Contribution much faster as the quest can be finished sooner, and as it is repeatable, you can keep refreshing the quest and farming. This method is excellent for farming Contribution, but it will not get you much if any experience, so when you do this, you won’t be leveling up your character. It is worth doing this for the Contribution as you the per minute Contribution rate you gain is much much better than quests killing a large number of mobs.

Main story quests

Another way to farm Contribution is by doing main story quests again on your other characters. You can trade over everything apart from weapons to your alt from your main account to level up this new account very very quickly. This can help pump up your Contribution very quickly so this is worth a go.

Amity and Contribution

This another questing style method but focuses on doing quests to gain Amity. Every settlement has NPCs that you can gain Amity with. Just look for the Amity symbol when you click on them. These quests are usually very short and revolve around speaking to another NPC. These are generally within the same town but are sometimes further away. Once you talk to the target NPC, the quest is completed, and you will earn Amity and Contribution.

This helps improve your relationship with these NPCs and can help you get rewards, but most importantly, for this guide is the fact it gives you a large number of Contribution and can be done very quickly. This makes it a more efficient method for farm Contribution than other repeatable quests killing mobs. Be sure to go to every settlement you can and speak to every NPC you see to check if they have an Amity quest for you to complete, and you will be increasing your Contribution faster than you can believe.

Using and Spending Contribution Points

As mentioned above, outside of acquiring items, you will most likely be spending your Contribution points on the pub, but it won’t be on having a drink. Contribution is used to hire workers, and rarer workers cost more Contribution as you might expect, It also costs Contribution to level up your workers.

You want to have as many villagers working for you as possible in any settlement. This will make a difference in the Trading Post and when you send them away to collect resources. They will give you better and more resources for each worker. Having a high-level village is very important in the end game, as you can use the Blacksmith and Alchemy lab to create useful items to use or to sell. Again, more workers are better.

Contribution In The Future

As the game continues to grow and new updates come out, it is crucial to get as much Contribution as you possibly can and not become content with the level you currently have. Contribution is placed to be even more critical in the future to secure the resources needed for new upgrades, which you won’t be able to keep up with if you don’t make Contribution a priority.

New objects to build can cost around 150,000 resources, so you need to get as many workers to gather resources as you can, or you won’t be able to afford these new objects. Even if you aren’t worried about new updates, it is always better to have more resources.

Be sure to complete as many Amity quests as you can in your spare time to get as much Contribution as you can for the least time and effort. Follow the hints in this guide, and you won’t have to worry about having low Contribution again.

When you are playing Black Desert Mobile, there are a lot of ways that your time can pass. 

After you do your daily routines and after you finish with modifications at your camp, as well as daily quests, you will want to start grinding and farming silver. This will benefit your progress overall with your game because silver is an integral part of Black Desert Mobile.

Grinding Loot

This is a way that most players find the most exciting. You clear mobs and loot drops, it’s simple as that. 

But to be efficient in that, you should always have your standard combat buff; outlaw combat buff turned on. Also, you should activate chicken soup buff because those few trigger something that is called field item drop rate. 

When those buffs are activated, you have a plus 5% for each. Having these buffs is just a start for you because you will need some other things, among others. We recommend that you always carry a decent amount of options with you so you can endure for a more extended period.

Pets. It is highly recommended that you have at least two pets with you. Three would be ideal because having three pets on your side for farming is an excellent way for you to carry more loot. So, more pets, more loot.

Depending on your class, you should have a grinding skill set up before you consider starting a farm in this way. Grind skill allows you to clear content in a much faster and easier matter.

What and Where To Farm?

When opening a map, you will see a lot of areas where you can farm. Clicking on any of those will open and show you the complete list of possible loot from there. Every chapter has different loot, from weapons to rings, etc.

However, the first place that we recommend for grinding is the Hidden monastery. The reason why we recommend it is that this place offers you the ability to do a repeatable quest. Its goal is to kill a certain amount of mobs, and you will get rewarded with 18000 silver coins.

Black Spirit Quest

Also, you can do this quest alongside your black spirit quest that is daily.

It is very convenient for it because you can go to sleep, go to work or do anything you like, and after you return. You will get a reward from your daily quest, and the quest to earn 18000 coins will be completed.

A straightforward way to earn some silver coins with this method, and because the first quest is repeatable, you can do it as much as you want. The drops that you loot from mobs can also sell pretty well at auction, plus the thrash gear you pick up also will provide some small numbers of silver coins.

In total, with this way of grind, you can expect around 50000 silver coins for 3 hours farm.

The second best place to grind is the Witches chapel.

The difference between the first and second option depends on your expectations. The first option has a small chance that you will get a Shadow Ring, which is a highly expensive one. The other option, however, lets you earn a bit more silver but will require more potions as mobs in this are a bit harder to kill.

Daily Quests and Tasks

Doing your daily quests in Black Desert Mobile is another great way of earning some silver coins. Completing all your daily quests will give you around 60000 silver coins. You can have as many as five of them, and that is 125000 silver coins. Also, you can pick up some rare items and sell them later.

But the most important thing you need to pay attention to is that some of these nodes offer ancient gold coins, and some offer golden rings. You want to choose golden rings and sell them afterward to earn silver. Each one of these rings sells for 10000 per piece. Keep that in mind, when you set up your strategy of collecting silver coins through this game.

Sometimes you will get epic purple chests when running Node. They usually contain pieces that you can sell 500 silver each.

Profit From The Marketplace

The market is going to change from time to time. When another expansion gets out, the market won’t be the same.

The possibility of buying and reselling items at the market is not an option. Why? The reason is the 30% that the market takes when the process of sale is done. So if you find an item that sells for 500 and you try to sell it for 600, you would be in deficit. This method can work only if you find an item that is specifically low cost on the market, and then you can try to sell it again.

The only profitable thing you can do currently in this way is selling seeds. When you buy seeds from the merchant, they cost around 60 silver. Another note is that you cannot combine pets if they are currently being changed – you need to make them inactive to be able to combine them. The best way is to wait for the skill level to increase rather than wasting lots of Stamina to complete it. 

A final tip that might help is not to be afraid to Randomize the skills when combining pets if you have a very slow skill, like 1% Dark Energy Exp. Pets cannot have two scores for this so that you can be stuck with a low-level skill, and you will be more likely to get a new higher one if you re-roll entirely. 

Unimportant Skills

Some skills you don’t need to prioritize are Fishing, Mining, and Gathering Exp. These offer the least real game benefits, so they are not worth worrying about too much. 

Skills like Dark Energy Exp and Combat Exp are much more critical and will help you out in the game a lot more, so focus on these.

Feeding Your Pets

Remember to feed your pets! You do not need to feed your pets the more luxurious and expensive food, Poor Feed you can buy from merchants will suffice, saving you some money. To save time, when feeding a pet, select the option Feed Until Full to save clicking and make sure your pet won’t need feeding again soon.

It is found in the center of your territory, and development depends on this structure. The Town Hall in black desert mobile can be upgraded five times. 

Each time you want an upgrade, there are going to be specific prerequisites that you will need to fulfill first. For beginners, it would probably be for the best to check out requirements for the upgrade, before starting a build or other structure upgrade. After each upgrade, you will have more silver output as well as the number of workers that you can have in your camp. 

Some other buildings like lodges and gardens can also go higher due to your Town Hall getting a higher level. Balance Your Resource

Having a high number of workers at your camp allows you to collect more resources and develop quicker. But, having this number of workers requires a lot of food to sustain them. This can become a problem when you get to level 5 of your Town Hall and when you maximize the number of workers.

If you upgrade your food storage, you don’t waste any food. Also, you should carefully choose which plants and which stock you are providing and that decision should be made on your availability to visit the camp.

Camp Buildings

Ranch and Refinery

A ranch is a place where you can breed livestock. This is your source of food for the workers. I recommend that you fill it with animals and have a vitality worker assigned to it once you level up and unlock the possibility to build a ranch. 

Seeds can be bought in any town that you visit. If you buy them and plant, you should be able to get a decent amount of food for some time.

The refinery is used to craft black stones. Black stones require some resources, food, and time to craft. I recommend you put a dexterity worker in the refinery as it will decrease the time u need to craft.

Stable and Extractor

At your stable building, you can go and manage your horse. You can equip barding. Also, you can level up your horse or tear them up. This is a beginner’s guide, so I won’t be explaining the usage of more experience required buildings as you will learn how to use them when some time passes.

Extractor building is a place where you can disassemble accessories and extract black stones. Also, this is a more advanced building, so that we will be covering it in some other post.

Blacksmith and Trade Shop

Blacksmith is a building that is used to craft armor and weapons. Crafting each weapon as well as armor costs resources and production time.

A Trade shop is a place where you can go to craft trade goods. These trade goods can be exchanged for merchants or can be used for your collection.

Trading post and Alchemy Lab

The trading post is a classical market where you can exchange your resources. All resources are of the same amount, and it doesn’t matter which resource you are gathering as long as you are going to sell it. The ratio for sales is 3 to 1, and as you can see, it is pretty high. 

The trading post can be useful when you have some resource in high number in your store, only then you should be going for the exchange if you need some other resources that are getting lower at your storage. We don’t recommend trading that much and only do trade when u need specific resources.

At alchemy lab, you can craft potions. Also, an alchemy lab is used for crafting low, mid, and high-level crystal chests that are going to be used during the game.

Lodge and Dye Workshop

The primary purpose of the lodge is that it is a requirement for you to hire more workers. Leveling lodge up will unlock you that possibility.

You can go to Dye Workshop and craft outfits pallets and mixed pallets, which will be explained in depth some other time.

Making Silver in Your Camp

Your Town Hall is going to be the first income as you start. Its outcome will expand as the building gets upgraded. Also, you can do some silver making at your trade shop—dye workshop, alchemy lab, and blacksmith.

The merchant shop provides you with detailed information about the cost of everything that is required on the market. It shows you how much of that item is in total for sale, price, and number of times that item has been bought.

What Is Amity?

In short, Amity is the relationship your character has to NPCs in Black Desert Mobile and can be seen as relationship points – more Amity points means a better relationship with that particular NPC. Just like in real life, what you do affects your relationships with others.

You want to have a high Amity score in this game as it gives you certain benefits. To check Amity, go to the Amity tab on your menu, it is to the right of the Market tab.

In this tab, you can see each NPC and your Amity score with them. This tab can be quite busy so it might be easier to use to the option of sorting by location, for example, all the NPCs you interact with Balenos.

Why Does Amity Matter?

Why should you care how much NPCs like you? The main reason to increase Amity levels is for the rewards you can gain for reaching certain Amity points with some NPCs. Are these any good?

Rewards

You can check what rewards you can obtain for increasing Amity on the Amity tab on the top left. Make sure you check the rewards available from each NPC as there can be a great difference between what each NPC will give you for reaching certain Amity levels. This might Black Pearls, it might be discounted prices at their stores.

Be sure to check these out and work towards Amity with people that offer worthwhile rewards – don’t slave away for minimal rewards in the short term, but do try to check all rewards out as they do add up.

Items To Build Amity

Proceed with caution here – some items mentioned here can be used for other parts of the game, so read to the end before using these items to increase Amity as you might find better uses for them in-game.

To see these useful items, click on the merchant in settlements you visit and click on the Present tab. This is where the goods are. You can go into this every hour and buy the items you need.

This can be expensive, so don’t do this too early in the game or you’ll be out of cash quickly. You can also access these items through the Node if you have it unlocked. This will contain items from across the map and can be items you can use to boost your Amity.

You can tell there is an item as it will say Fortune on the Road. Be sure to check this out if you have it unlocked and be sure to check the entire screen as they might be hidden.

How To Increase Amity

Okay down to the practical points of increasing Amity.

Gifts

To increase Amity by gifts, click on any NPC and click on the Amity sign (it looks like two people next to each other). Once you click on this, click on the Gift option on the right, next to Quest.

This is where you can see what items you can give them to boost Amity. Here you can see what items can be used and what effect this has, for example, six Red Feather Quill Pen to obtain one Amity point.

Be careful here to check what items give what Amity, especially the rate (ideally fewer items given for more Amity points gain). The value of the item itself is not necessarily important to the NPC, so do not automatically give rarer items as they may not be preferred by the NPC, and you have lost out.

Quests

The other and cheaper method is by doing quests for the NPC. To do this, click on the Quest bar instead of the Gift bar and select a quest to complete.

These quests are always to go and speak to another NPC and these can only be done once. Look at the rewards for the quest on the right.

You will see that the quest will give you extra Amity with the NPC giving you the quest, but it might decrease your Amity with the NPC you are tasked to speak to. Some will add Amity to both.

A good strategy is to max out Amity with an NPC you are going to lose Amity with a quest to minimize the damage done to your relationship with them. In addition to Amity, these quests will give you Contribution Experience, experience and usual currency of some sort. These quests are usually short and can be done in the same town.

Speaking

A final way is to speak to NPCs to raise Amity.

This is the least preferable way as it uses up Energy for the conversations. The better exchange is to use silver as silver is more plentiful than Energy.

But even then, the Witch’s abilities take longer than many other classes to use.

A third con of the Witch class is that she has only one mid-ranged attack that inflicts bound and only one short-ranged bound attack. Attacks that inflict boundaries are especially important in the arena.

If you are looking for a class to farm, grind, or kill lots of enemies very quickly, the Witch class is for you.

Stats

Because of the cons discussed above, increasing Attack Speed should be your priority when building your Witch. She is slow to cast her skills, and increasing Attack Speed will help avoid the negative repercussions of this.

Your second focus, once you have increased her Attack Speed, is to focus on raising her Crit Chance. Of course, you have burst damage and strong AoE, but these have an extended cool-down period. Crit Chance is essential as you want to increase the chance of doing massive damage when you use these skills to make up for the time you will have to wait to use them again. Mid-game and late-game, you can also focus on increasing Critical Damage for the same reasons.

Movement Speed is not emphasized in this build recommendation because the Witch class has a skill, Time Warp, which increases your movement speed. The second reason is that while grinding, movement speed is not as important as the other priorities listed above.

Branch Damage

The third priority is your Branch Damage. Within Branch Damage, you’re going to want to focus on Aal, which increases your skill damage. Serrett is to be your second priority as it increases the number of enemies affected by the skills you apply it to.

As we have already discussed, the Witch’s AoE abilities are where she shines. Labreve can be focused on third, as it increases your Crit Chance for a skill (and for those of you who are wondering, this stacks on top of your current Crit Chance). Labreve will mostly come in handy in the late-game, so that is why it is placed third on the list.

All of this being said, it might be worth emphasizing which Branch Damages are suited to which gameplay scenarios. As you may want to rearrange which skills are placed in which branches depending on what you are working on in the game.

When it comes to PvP and GvG aspects of the game, Aal and Ahib are going to be your focus. Aal is also fantastic for general gameplay, which is why it is placed first on the list.

When it comes to PvE aspects of the game, Serrett and Labreve are going to be incredibly valuable. Labreve is also essential for a full Crit Damage to build, which comes in handy in the late game.

Branch-Skill Placements

Because Aal increases permanently the damage done by skill, this is your main priority among the Branch Damage options. It is recommended to use Aal on Arcane Bolts, Frigid Fog, and Lightning Storm.

Because Serrett increases the number of enemies affected by skill, you are going to want to apply it to your Lightning Chain and Meteor Shower abilities.

It is recommended to apply Labreve to your Frozen Orb skill because it increases your Crit Chance for the ability. As you carry on in the game, you may find yourself placing more skills under Labreve, as this is particularly useful in the late game.

Lightstones

When it comes to choosing Lightstones, the ideal scenario would be a Lightstone, which contains Sub-Stats geared towards Crit Chance.

It can be easy to equip higher tier Lightstones (for example, an orange tier Lightstone over a yellow tier Lightstone) based on the tier alone. This is not recommended; it is far more critical to look at the Sub-Stats and ensure that you are increasing the things you need most.

Sometimes this means choosing a yellow tier Lightstone, which improves your attack and defense over an orange tier Lightstone that increases Ahib damage.

Skill Builds Witch

The Witch class is one that, while playing, you are going to want to switch between different skill builds based on the gameplay scenario you find yourself in.

Because of this, there are three skill builds recommended when playing the Witch class. The first is for dealing with scattered mobs, the second is for dealing with aggressive or swarming mobs, and the third is for PvP.

PvE Build Witch – Scattered Mobs

Meteor Shower

Meteor Shower is a powerful combat ability that has a long cool-down period as well as a longer cast time.

Lightning Chain

Lightning Chain is both an AoE attack and a ranged attack. As well, Lightning Chain inflicts a nice stun on the first hit.

Frigid Fog

Arcane Bolts

Arcane Bolts is optional. This skill is worth it if you have sufficient branch damages on Aal. If you do not have this, leave Arcane Bolts out of your build.

Lightning Storm

Lightning Storm is also optional. It can be brought along to deal with scattered mobs because it has a decent range.

PvE Build Witch – Aggressive/Swarming Mobs

When it comes to aggressive and swarming mobs, the goal is to protect yourself from multiple attacks while simultaneously doing lots of AoE damage.

Lightning Storm

Lightning Storm has decent range and stuns every mob that it hits.

Magical Embrace

Magical Embrace is a short-range attack that has a large area of effect and also inflicts bound on your enemies.

Thunderbolt

Thunderbolt is particularly helpful when facing a swarm because while you are casting you, both take a step back and become invincible. The ability strikes twice, the first strike inflicts bound, and the second strike hits AoE.

Storm of Magic

Storm of Magic is a close-ranged AoE that stuns enemies. It has a maximum of two hits and three charges, which can give you a whopping total of six hits.

PvP Build Witch

When it comes to building skills for PvP, the emphasis is on powerful combos.

Thunderbolt

Thunderbolt is crucial for PvP because of the combination of invincibility and bound. You are protected while casting, and if your enemy is restricted, you will be correctly set up for a nice combo.

Fireball

Fireball knocks your enemies back.

Entangle

Entangle decreases your enemy’s Attack Speed and Movement Speed.

Magical Embrace

Magical Embrace is optional in this build, but as we have already mentioned, this skill has a large area of effect and also inflicts bound on your enemies. The reason this is optional is that it is a short-range attack.

Time Warp

Time Warp, as mentioned above, increases your speed. This is incredibly important when playing PvP as it gives you the ability to get away from attacks. Buying you the time needed to heal and allow your skills to cool down.

Witch PvP Combo

When playing PvP, the ideal combo is as follows: Thunderbolt. Do not use the second Thunderbolt hit if your enemy is bound, instead go for Fireball. You do not need to hit multiple times with Fireball, knock your opponent back once and follow up with Entangle.
