Pros

Champion Zerato is immune to Stun, Sleep, and Blind, and can counterattack when he is debuffed. He can also transfer two debuffs to his enemies while healing himself. His Skill 3 (S3) can Defense Break and Attack Down (also ignores Resist with Soulburn).

Cons

Unfortunately, he relies on enemy debuffs and is countered by immunity. He also requires team support for better sustainability.

Champion Zerato Summary

With his new buffs, Champion Zerato became the ideal solution to the debuff meta, along with Dizzy, Seaside Bellona, and Basar, with his counterplay mechanic and immunity to most crowd control debuffs.

Additionally, he is one of the most reliable units in PvE (Player vs. Environment) and a great option in PvP (Player vs. Player), especially in GW (Guild Wars) and RTA (Real-Time Arena).

Skill 1: Earthen Rage (Multiplier: 0.95)

He attacks two enemies, including the target, with an earthen blast, transferring two debuffs from the caster to the enemy, and recovering the caster’s Health.

The amount of Health recovered increases proportionally to the caster’ max Health. Therefore, his ordinary skill can attack two enemies, transferring two debuffs back to them and also healing himself about 5% of his maximum Health. This skill has a good damage multiplier.

His s1 synergies very well with his S2 and makes him the best unit to counter heavy duty debuffs, like SSB, Basar, or Dizzy. Champion Zerato can counterattack and transfer Defense Break, Unbuffable Slow or Attack down back to them and their allies.

With a good base Attack and a Life-steal set, Champion Zerato can perform difficult counterattacks and heal himself for better sustainability.

Skill 2: Iron Will (Passive)

His second skill makes him immune to Stun, Sleep, and decreases a Hit Chance. It has an 80% chance to counterattack when the caster is debuffed after being attacked.

Champion Zerato has one of the most unique and most potent passive skills in the game. With a mola upgrade, he has a 100% chance to counterattack if he is debuffed after being attacked.

Whenever he is debuffed, he counterattacks transfers his debuffs back to his enemies and heals himself with his S1. However, he cannot counter debuff skills that don’t deal damage, like Kluri’s S3 or Lilias’s S2.

Another strong point is his added immunity to Stun, Sleep, and Blind. It makes him unable to be controlled by any crowd-control debuffs. You can still Provoke Champion Zerato with Kluri or Lilias, but when you attack him, he will counterattack and transfer the Provoke debuff back to you and your allies.

Skill 3: Cataclysm (Cooldown: 5 turns, Multiplier:1.0)

Champion Zerato attacks all enemies by slamming rocks, with a 60% chance each to decrease Defense and Attack for two turns. It also Increases the caster’s Defense for two turns. It has a Soulburn Effect, which ignores Effect Resistance.

Champion Zerato is the only unit in the game that can apply both an AoE (Area of Effect) Defense Break and Attack-down debuff in a single skill. It also buffs his Defense for two turns when used. With his ability to continually debuff enemies and heal himself, he is rather hard to defeat.

Finally, he is also the only unit who can use a Soulburn Effect to apply an AoE Defense break with an Ignore-Effect Resistance. Twenty souls are quite a lot, but it is worth this effect.

PvE Content

Champion Zerato is one of the few units that can do most Hunts solo.

Golem 11

He can’t be stunned by Golem’s counterattack. With his passive skill, he can counter and transfer a Defense Break back to Golem and his minions. It’s not necessary to bring another Defense breaker when you use him. Just pair him with an intense Fire DPS (like Cermia, Serila, and Mellisa) and a healer to make this run safer.

Banshee 11

Champion Zerato can solo this Hunt as well. Banshee and her Mistychains can all apply debuffs with their attack, so he can counterattack them transfer back their Poison debuff to kill them faster, while you and heal yourself. Nonetheless, he will need a Chatty or a Proof of Valor Artifact and a high Attack stat to survive against their damage. If you need a stable auto-team, use Champion Zerato with an Angelic Montmorancy and two Fodders.

Wyvern 11

This is not an excellent place for Champion Zerato because Wyvern does not have any debuff, and his Dark Elemental is also a disadvantage.

Azimanak 11

Azimanak is the best solo run for him. He can even do it at Level 50 with an Abyss set and a Lela Violin Artifact. It is not a long run because he can kill mobs and the Boss rather quickly with their Poison and Bleed debuffs.

However, the most crucial aspect of obtaining a 100% successful solo Hunt is to equip him with a lela Violin Artifact to dispel the Berserk buff from the Boss. If the Berserk buff reaches Level 4, the Boss and produce a massive damage, making it hard for you to survive. If you don’t have the lela Violin Artifact, you are still able to succeed with a Kal’ Adra or Daydream Joker. But, he must have very high stats, mainly attack, and a bit of luck to be debuffed by the Boss every turn.

Raid and Abyss

It is rare to use Champion Zerato in Abyss. But with rather high morale, he is perfect for Raids and Hell Raids. He can be used for both Hell Raid Bosses, particularly Hell Karkanis, because he can transfer the debuffs back to her. His Defense Break and Attack-down effect are also very useful to reduce damage from the Boss when his HP is less than 40%.

PvP Content

In PVP, he is rarely used in defense teams because he requires debuffs to become stronger.

Passive Relies on Debuffs

His Passive skill relies immensely on enemies who apply debuffs so you can counter their attacks and transfer debuffs. Therefore, if you combat DPS who do not cause debuffs, such as Luna, BBK, or A.Coli or enemies that have Immunity, Champion Zerato is simply a lackluster bruiser and will be defeated quickly.

Works Best With Offensive Teams

He works best when used in offense teams, especially in GW or RTA, to fight against Dizzy, Basar, SSB, or any AoE Defense breaker. However, the gameplay has shown that he can perform adequately when fighting against Dizzy or Basar, but still has trouble when fighting against SSB.

He can transfer back her debuffs, but his counterattack also provides her two more stacks, which enables her to Defense break your team.

Low Base Health

Despite his sustainability and survivability, Champion Zerato is still a Mage with a low base Health. He can’t survive against massive AoE damage from SSB without substantial support from his teammates.

His base speed is low, and his S3 has a long cooldown period. His kit is also countered by immunity. He needs a buff stripper or the lela Violin artifact to do his job efficiently.

Build

PvE

For PvE, you can use the standard Life-steal build. His primary role is to counter bosses and sustain himself until they die continually. A Life-steal/Critical build with an Abyss set is an excellent option to maximize his damage output.

An Abyss set has decent amounts of HP stats to help him survive the damage as well. In regards to Artifacts, it will depend on the gameplay. You can choose Kal’adra in Golem and Raid, Chatty and Proof of Valor for Banshee, and lela Violin in Azimanak.

PvP

For PvP, you can choose between a Life-steal/Critical and a Counter/Critical build. It depends on your enemies’ team. If they have units with debuffs, A Life-steal/Critical set is better. However, if they use pure DPS, you can use a Counter/Critical set to have better chances to counter them. With this build, he will not have a Life-steal capability, so he will need more support from a Healer to survive.

Artifacts

Concerning Artifacts, it’s not a great idea to give him a Tagahel Book unless you need it to Soulburn for another unit. You can also use a lela Violin if your team doesn’t have any strippers, an Abyssal Crown to have more chances to stun enemies while countering them or an Etica’s Scepter for long fights.

Overall, Champion Zerato is a PvE slayer and an excellent counter for debuffs in PvP.

Introduction

The swordsman of the Perland Raiders, this narcissist may look elegant, but he’s incredibly skilled. Violet is a unique character that can avoid everything his opponents may throw at him, and cause a lot of damage to them when he counterattacks.

Pros

Great counterattack mechanism when evasion triggers

High base attack

Solid PvP

Easy to build

Cons

Low base defense Power

depends on RNG

Moonlight Dreamblade must be maxed to be useful a thief tank

Skills

Skill 1: Graceful Cut (Multiplier: 0.9)

attacks with a sword, decreases attack for one turn with a 65% chance. With Soul Burn Effect, the probability is increased to 100%, and the attack is reduced for two turns.

Skill 2: Duel Accepted (Cooldown: 5 turns)

prepares for a duel by dispelling two debuffs, health recovers by 15%, and an extra turn is granted. When the skill is on cooldown, Evasion is increased by 35%, and after successful Evasion, Violet attacks with Graceful Cut and gets 1 Focus.

Skill 3: Butterfly cut (Multiplier: 1.35, Cooldown: 6 turns)

pierces the enemy with the sword, losing all Focus. The more Focus is lost, the more significant the damage, and if 5 Focus is lost, the cooldown of Butterfly Cut is reset.

PvE

Violet’s attack has ATK Down, which can be useful for reducing damage from Bosses, and with his high Evasion, he can be the best choice against Banshee or Golem. He’s also a functional unit for normal Raid due to his high morale.

PvP

Violet is a PvP oriented unit – when correctly built, he can destroy an inexperienced player’s whole team just by eating an apple, which makes him one of the most annoying units. His greatest trump card is his Duel.

Accepted skill: when he dispels two debuffs, he removes every debuff that was dispelled on him except for the crowd control debuffs such as Silence, Provoke, Sleep and Stun, while recovering health at the same time.

Once he eats an apple, he increases Evasion by 35%, reducing damage but also preventing the enemy from critical hitting or applying debuffs on him. After successful Evasion, Violet counterattacks with his unique mechanism, applying ATK Down on the enemy.

High Base Health

Violet has a high Health base (6266), but his Defense base is shallow (473), so he can be easily killed before he gets his Duel Accepted Skill off, or he can be disabled using Provoke (Lilias) or Silence (Wanda SC, Mirsa).

He is an excellent unit to be used against Dizzy and other Ice debuffers, and he’s particularly strong in Guild War.

Team Composition

Violet is best paired with Assasin Cartuja. When Moonlight Dreamblade is maxed, with Assasin Cartuja and with his Duel Accepted Skill, Violet has 70% Evasion, so he counterattacks more and therefore deals more damage. He can also be paired with Dizzy, whose AoE Blind helps him evade and counterattack.

Popular team compositions with Violet are Violet/Assassin Cartuja/Dizzy and Violet Dizzy/Lilias or Fire Ken.

Build

Survivability

Since Violet has a very low base Defense stat, the goal when building him is to increase survivability with a lot of %HP, so that he can survive long enough to use his deadliest weapon – his Duel Accepted Skill.

Lifesteal Set

Lifesteal set from Abyss is the best build for Violet: it has ATK, SPD, Health, Crit Chance, and Effectiveness. Once he has a Lifesteal set, the damage will translate to healing, so Crit Damage and ATK should be as high as possible.

Damage, Speed and HP

Damage and SPD can be further increased using Crit Dmg Necklace, %ATK Ring, and SPD Boots. The best choice for the other component of the two-piece gear set is Health, Crit, or Immunity.

Increasing %HP is the priority when building this unit, followed by SPD, %ATK, %Crit Rate, and %Crit Damage.

When it comes to skills, you can upgrade Graceful Cut and Butterfly Cut, but never upgrade Duel Accepted!

Artifacts

Moonlight Dreamblade is a must-have Artifact for Violet for the first turn of the fight before he has eaten his apple – this is indispensable for PvP., and PvP is what Violet is mostly used for. For PvE, Violet Talisman would be more suitable.

Should I Pull Violet?

Violet is not a must for PvE, but when it comes to PvP, especially if you want to make Guild War and you already have Assassin Cartuja with an upgraded Moonlight Dreamblade, this unit is worth a pull.

Introduction

Iseria is a top tier unit in Epic Seven. She is an Earth Ranger and falls under the sign of Leo. Below we will examine the Pros and Cons of including Iseria in your gameplay, as well as how to best work with her skills in both PvE and PvP contexts. We will also look into the ideal builds and priorities for gamers, including Iseria, on their team.

Pros

Iseria has a high base Attack and Crit Chance. She is a unique unit with the ability to reset any character’s cooldown, allowing them to use their abilities for a second time. She has two skills with a defense break and can dispel all buffs, defense breaks, and make opponents unbuffable with her third skill.

Cons

Iseria has no AoE attacks. As well, she needs to be paired with specific units, and her strengths only suit an offensive PvP team. She would not work well on a defensive PvP team.

Skill Summary

Skill 1(S1): Refined Flower

Refined Flower is Iseria’s first skill. It is an ability that throws swords at the enemy, which also has a 35% chance of decreasing your enemies’ defense for two turns. Refined Flower has a multiplier of 0.95 to 1.9.

Soul Burn Effect increases your effect chance by a whopping 50% as well as increases the damage dealt. Please note that her Soul Burn Effect does not trigger a Dual Attack.

It might also be worth noting that Iseria can apply a defense break for two turns with her normal attack. It begins with a 50% chance, but this can be increased to 100% using Soul Burn. As well, it’s multiplier is decently high, allowing for the possibility of Iseria dealing a powerful amount of damage with only ten souls.

Skill 2(S2): Oathkeeper

Oathkeeper is Iseria’s second skill and likely the one she is most well-known for. It allows you to reset the skill cooldown of any ally, excluding a caster with light energy. Oathkeeper grants you an extra turn and has a cooldown period of six turns. This ability makes Iseria ideal to pair with units who have an initial starting cooldown or who have longer cooldown times on their skills.

Skill 3(S3): Full Bloom

Full Bloom is Iseria’s third skill. It attacks enemies with a giant magic sword resulting in the dispelling of all buffs, a decrease in their defense, and the prevention of them from being buffed again for the next two turns. This skill is unique in the game. No other unit can dispel all buffs, cause a break in defense, and also leave an opponent unbuffable with the use of a single skill. This being said, Iseria’s base Effectiveness is 0%, which means you will need to increase this to make proper use of this ability. Full Bloom has a multiplier of 1.8 and cools down in five turns.

PvE

With her one of a kind skillset, Iseria can handle most PvE content that doesn’t exclusively fire enemies. Her Full Bloom dispels, unbuffable, and defense break is undoubtedly the best skill to use when facing Azimanak. Iseria is also a fantastic defense breaker when it comes to Banshee or Golem.

In addition to this, Iseria is one of the highest raid morale units in the game. She handles single-target bosses like Arakahan, Vera, and Queen with ease. She can also help cheese Abyss alongside units like Tama, Angelica, or Kiris.

PvP

When it comes to Pvp, Iseria is harder to use on a defense team as Full Bloom can be baited by opponents, but also because Oathkeeper is hard to target. In an offense team, she is strong.

Iseria is usually run alongside units that have longer than usual cooldowns for their skills, including Tamarinne and D. Corvus. She can allow units to use their abilities from the start and can also apply dispel, unbuffable, and defense break to a unit in a single move. That extra turn from Oathkeeper comes in handy as well.

Iseria can easily be paired with specific units that have longer cooldowns on their own marquee skills. Oathkeeper can be used to allow, for example, Watcher Schuri to pop off and kill one more opponent, and likewise can be used alongside Krau so that he can repeat his third skill.

PvP Combo Suggestions

Iseria, combined with Tamarinne, is one of the most potent unit combinations for an offensive combo. Iseria at her highest speed will get first turn.

Oathkeeper with Tamarinne

If Oathkeeper is used on Tamarinne, then Tamarinne can use her transform on her first turn. Iseria can then use Full Bloom to break the defense of an opponent and prevent them from buffing.

Tamarinne can then, on her turn, use her Idol form that cleanses all debuffs from the team. Follow this up with her second ability, giving the entire team an Attack Buff and +50% Combat Readiness, which will, in turn, allow your final two slower and heavier DPS units to strike before your enemies can.

This combo can work with a lot of DPS. It is common to see this combo with a defense breaker and heavy DPS unit like Blood Blade Karin since she will be able to get in one kill and take a new turn if anyone survives. This combo also works well with Arbiter Vildred.

The Iseria-Tamarinne team is particularly strong against Dizzy or Stall Teams. But you may find that at higher rankings, like Champion or above, this combo is gradually becoming less used.

It is common to see a combination of units like Lilias (with Hilag Lance) or Basar with godspeed. These sorts of combinations can significantly impact your Combat Readiness and mess up your turn ordering.

The Iseria-Tamarinne team is strong against a team with just one or two threats. Combat becomes a lot riskier with this combination against teams filled with high damage bruisers like Seaside Bellona, Charles, Martial Artist Ken, or Arbiter Vildred.

Build

When dealing with the PvE components of the game, and focusing on Speed/Crit or Speed/Hit:

The gear you are going to want is the C.Dmg Necklace, Attack Ring, and Speed Boots.

Your stat priority should be speed, followed by an attack, followed by Crit Damage, followed by Crit Rate, and then finally Effectiveness.

Artifacts

The artifact you are aiming for is Song of Stars because this works nicely with Iseria’s defense break. The target debuff will be the cherry on top, and your entire team will be able to deal more damage to your enemies.

When it comes to enhancing your skills, you should prioritize Full Bloom (with at least +3), followed by Oathkeeper (with at least +2) and then Soul burn (with +4).

When dealing with the PvE and focusing on Speed/Immunity

You’re going to want the HP Necklace, Effectiveness Ring, and once again the Speed Boots.

Stat Prioritization

Your stats should be prioritized with speed being first, Hit Points second, and Effectiveness third.

Once again, the artifact you’re going to want is the Song of Stat.

Skill Enhancement

And your skill enhancement priorities are going to be the same as above, Full Bloom first (with at least +3), followed by Oathkeeper (with at least +2) and then Soul burn (with +4).

Should I Pull Iseria?

As mentioned above, the Iseria-Tamarinne team is no longer the must-have combination in PvP. This being said, it is still a useable combination. And Iseria is still an incredibly strong unit, in particular, because of her unique ability, which works both in PvE and PvP.

Strategy

The Boss will hit the front line three times, and he will only aim at a Tank until it is defeated. Upon defeating the Tank, he will choose another character at random and start attacking three times once again.

The Wyvern Boss has a “Fire’s Protection” ability, where he increases damage by 30% to all non-Ice Elemental units, and his Combat Readiness (CR) also increases by 30% when the turn of a non-Ice unit ends. However, Wyvern receives an additional 30% damage from Ice Elemental Heroes.

Therefore, you must have a heavy tank frontline and enough DPS units to break his shield in order to succeed in Wyvern 11. Keep in mind that the damage from the Boss will decrease if he is debuffed, and he has a high HP stat, so it is best to equip your DPS with the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Team Composition

Your core unit requires the following units: a Tanker, Defense breaker, Healer and/or Support, and DPS units.

Tank

Its stats requires 16k to 18k of HP, 1.2k to 1.4k of Defense, and a 160 Speed. The best units include the appropriate Artifact:

Angelica: Equip her the Water’s Origin and Prophetic Candlestick Artifact.

Krau: Sword of Ezera and the Noble Oath Artifact.

Crozet: Sword of Ezera and the Egg of Delusion Artifact.

Bask Sword of Ezera and the Egg of Delusion Artifact.

Tywin: The Sword of Ezera Artifact.General Purrgis: Envoy’s Pipe Artifact.

Healer/Support

The main requirement is Speed higher than 200.

The best units are:

Tamarine: The Rod of Amaryllis

Diene: The Rod of Amaryllis and Celestine Artifact.

Angelica: The Rod of Amaryllis and the Shimadra Staff Artifact

Aither: The Rod of Amaryllis

Defense Breaker

Your Defense Breaker’s stats require more than 55% Effectiveness and a Speed between 160 to 180. The most resourceful units are:

Taranor Guard: the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Karin: the Rhianna and Luciella Artifact

Clarissa: the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Damage Dealers

It is important that your DPS needs about 160 to 180 Speed and the greatest damage you can obtain. You can include in your team the following units:

Luna: the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Kise: the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Karin: the Rhianna and Luciella Artifact

Chloe: the Daydream Joker Artifact.

Alexa: the Daydream Joker Artifact (it will grant a 100% Critical Rate chance).

Wyvern 11 with 2,3,4 Man

If you want to design a well-balanced team to take on and succeed in Wyvern, you can use the following teams and take into consideration their stats and Artifacts to have a better understanding when building your own team.

4-Unit Team

If you want to beat Wyvern 11 with four units, your team can be composed of Angelica, Diene, Taranor Guard, and Luna.

Angelica (Max Level 60)

Attack: 841

Defense: 1183

Health: 16733

Speed: 176

Critical Hit Chance: 27.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 161.0%

Effectiveness: 20.0%

Effect Resistance: 10.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

Angelica works best with the Wondrous Potion Vial. It grants her a 100% chance to dispel one debuff from any ally when she starts her turn.

Diene (Max Level 60)

Attack: 1059

Defense: 1515

Health: 12186

Speed: 208

Critical Hit Chance: 28.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 150.0%

Effectiveness: 43.0%

Effect Resistance: 41.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

With the Rod of Amaryllis, she will be able to heal the Ally with the lowest Health by 24.0% when she uses a non-Attack skill.

Taranor Guard (Max Level 60)

Attack: 1151

Defense: 806

Health: 6458

Speed: 202

Critical Hit Chance: 24.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 160.0%

Effectiveness: 40.0%

Effect Resistance: 19.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

When Taranor Guard is equipped with the Daydream Joker, he will produce extra damage proportionally to 3% of the enemy’s max Health every time he performs an Attack.

Luna (Max Level 60)

Attack: 2782

Defense: 747

Health: 12220

Speed: 173

Critical Hit Chance: 79.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 229.0%

Effectiveness: 31.0%

Effect Resistance: 15.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

If you give her the Daydream Joker, she will produce extra damage proportionally to 3% of the enemy’s max Health every time she attacks.

3-Unit Team

The best team with three units is Angelina, Luna, and Tywin.

Angelica (Max Level 60)

Attack: 976

Defense: 1222

Health: 17274

Speed: 160

Critical Hit Chance: 15.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 154.0%

Effectiveness: 11.0%

Effect Resistance: 51.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

It is best to acquire the Prophetic Candlestick for Angelica, so she has a 40% chance to decrease the cooldown period of her skills by one turn whenever she is attacked. This effect is only available once per turn.

Luna (Max Level 60)

Attack: 2503

Defense: 722

Health: 8824

Speed: 160

Critical Hit Chance: 57.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 255.0%

Effectiveness: 31.0%

Effect Resistance: 19.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

Luna also benefits from the Daydream Joker so she can produce extra damage proportionally to 3% of the enemy’s max Health every time she attacks.

Tywin (Max Level 60)

Attack: 1304

Defense: 1157

Health: 17124

Speed: 189

Critical Hit Chance: 22.0%

Critical Hit Damage: 155.0%

Effectiveness: 63.0%

Effect Resistance: 21.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

A good Artifact option for Tywin is the Auris. He will be able to increase the Defense of all his allies by 10%, but he takes 20% of the damage they have endured. However, this effect does not overlap with another Artifact that provides the same effect.

2-Unit Team

Angelica and Chloe are your best options for a 2-unit team.

Angelica (Max Level: 60)

Attack: 1051

Defense: 1511

Health: 16632

Speed: 179

Critical Hit Chance: 39.0%

Critical HIt Damage: 155.0%

Effectiveness: 0.0%

Effect Resistance: 38.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

One of the best Artifacts for her is Magahar’s Tome. It will increase Angelica’s Combat Readiness (CR) by up to 30% when she uses a skill that does not produce damage.

Chloe (Max Level 60)

Attack: 3321

Defense: 658

Health: 7917

Speed:187

Critical Hit Chance: 83.0%

Critical Hit Damage: 263.0%

Effectiveness: 0.0%

Effect Resistance: 27.0%

Dual Attack Chance: 5.0%

If you give her the Daydream Joker, she will produce extra damage proportionally to 3% of the enemy’s max Health every time she attacks.

Pros

Purrgis is a Bruiser that can counterattack and slow your enemies, and his counterattacks have a wide variety of Stuns. Additionally, all of his skills have HP scaling.

Cons

Unfortunately, Purrgis lacks survivability and possess rather hungry stats.

Purrgis Summary

Purrgis is one of the most underrated units in the game. He is a powerful bruiser that lives on countering. He can be useful to fight against cleave teams or can be built to withstand attacks from heavy single-target Fire DPS while dishing out counterattacks to disrupt the enemy’s team.

Skill 1: Falling Strike (Multiplier: 1.0)

He mows down his enemies with a great sword, which has a 35% (to a maximum of 50%) chance to both decreases your enemies’ Speed for two turns and their Combat Readiness (CR) by 20%.

The damage dealt increases proportionally to the caster’s max Health. When his mola is upgraded and at a maximum, his normal attack has a 50% chance to Slow and decrease an enemy’s CR by 20%. This skill has HP Scaling, which means that Purrgis can deal decent damage with a high HP.

Skill 2: Get Lost! (Passive)

Purrgis hits all his enemies when counterattacking, and it has a 15% chance to stun for one turn. It also has a 20% (up to a maximum of 30%) chance to counterattack when he is attacked.

You must upgrade this skill to the maximum as soon as possible. He has a 30% chance to counterattack when your enemies attack him. This skill has a Stun debuff and includes his S1 debuff, which means he can Stun, Slow, and decreases your enemies’ CR when he counterattacks.

Although it’s not confirmed, it is believed that his passive skill can stack a Counter set. If he does have a Counter set, he has a high chance of counterattack.

Skill 3: Final Blow (Cooldown: 4turns, Multiplier: 0.8-1.05)

He attacks all his enemies with a potent ground pound with a 50% chance to stun for one turn. It has a 100% chance to stun for one turn when the target has less than 30% of his max Health. The damage dealt also increases proportionally to the caster’s max Health. This skill has a Soul burn Effect, which further increases the damage output.

His S3 is an AoE (Area of Effect) attack with a 100% chance to Stun when his enemies’ HP is below 30% and a 50% Stun chance. Even more, this skill has only three turns as a cooldown period with a mola upgrade. If you pair this skill with his passive abilities, he can apply an AoE Stun very often.

PvE Content

Sadly, Purrgis is not a good unit for PvE. The best place for him to perform efficiently is in Banshee, where his counterattacks can aid in wiping out the summoned Mystichains. He can also be a decent front-line damage dealer and apply AoE damage through his counterattacks and his S3.

Purrgis can also be used against particular Raid and Abyss bosses, but other units are much more useful than him.

PvP Content

Purrgis’s biggest strength is his unique AoE counterattacking passive ability that can slow and stun his enemies. He can be built in a Defense team to counter a Cleave team or to withstand the attacks from Fire DPS units from your enemy’s team.

High Base HP

With a high base HP, he is capable of surviving against multiple attacks from your enemies and disrupt their team with his strong debuffs and stun.

Disrupts Cleave Comps

Additionally, he disrupts cleave comps that have Tywin and Basar because he will decrease your enemy’s CR and ruin their combos with his Stun skill unless they have an Immunity. With both skills, Purrgis can apply an AoE Stun. He can be a good partner for Spez since his S3 can Penetrate defense.

Weak To Provoke

However, his biggest weakness is his lack of Provoke effects. He can bait enemies into attacking him when he is used in an Offense team, but it is challenging to lure enemies when he is used in a Defense team.

Enemies can simply choose to ignore him and attack other targets instead because his main mechanic and overall damage output are centered on his counterattacks. Additionally, your enemy can use units that can one-shot him, such as Cermia, W.Schuri, or Yufine.

Purrgis has a high HP base, but he lacks defensive abilities in his kit to help him survive repeated attacks.

Requires Excellent Gear and Maxed Skills

He requires excellent gear and maxed skills to be effective. He also needs support for better sustainability and tanking hits. The Defense lineup that is commonly used with him is Purrgis, F.Ceci, Charles, and Ruele. You can also pair him with some debuffers, such as Purrgis, C. Armin, M. Chloe, Dizzy, or Basar.

Build

There are multiple ways to build Purrgis.

The best way to build him is with a Counter/Immunity build, like Charles, but with less attack and bulkier.

If you are unable to afford a Counter/Immunity set, you can aim for a high Attack and HP stat, while including an immunity set. Even if he is slow, he should live to counter and deal substantial amounts of damage, while applying many debuffs.

Ideal Stats

His ideal stats must prioritize a high HP stat since his damage scales with his HP. Therefore, it is recommended to have at least 1500 HP, 1200 Defense, and more than 2000 Attack, with the highest Effect Resistance you can achieve.

Artifacts

In regards to Artifacts, the Junkyard Dog is the best choice for him because it applies an AoE counterattack to his S2. If you don’t have it, the Sigurd Scythe is another good option. With this Artifact, he can recover a good chunk of Health with each counterattack. Other useful Artifacts available for him are Proof of Valor, Durandal, Strak Gauntlet, and Crimson Seed.

Overall, Purrgis is an excellent unit as a Bruiser that has access to many debuffs, such as stun, decrease Speed, and many more. His stats make him a worthy addition to your team.

Introduction

Blood Blade Karin is one of the most popular characters in Epic Seven’s current meta due to her Highly offensive capacities. She doesn’t possess elemental disadvantage at all, although she is a character that needs significant investment and has no utility. Hugely recommended both for PvE and PvP.

First, a quick check on this character’s pros and cons:

Pros

Serious damage potential

Grows up in power as long as the battle continues

Excellent carry capacity with her extra-turn skill gained after slaying an enemy

High capacity to farm bosses in PvE

Cons

Lacks utility, not a support type character

Require a heavy (expensive) investment

Skills

Skill 1: Sequential cutter

BBK’s normal attack. Quickly strikes the enemy with a sword, recovering health proportional to damage dealt. It has no debuff, but she can heal herself and push up her CR by 50% when she killed an enemy—adding that to her passive, which grants her ATK, DEF, and SPD when her HP drops make her one fo the best offensive characters.

Skill 2: Curse Sword

A passive skill that grants BBK power when her HP drops powering up ATK, DEF, and SPD giving her high survivability. At max, with each 1%, HP missing BBK will get 1% bonuses in ATK, DEF, and SPD. Lower the HP, stronger she gets.

Skill 3: Blade Art: Dragon

An AoE skill that costs lives in a change of enormous damage increased by the Soulburn Effect and with the ability to be rewarded with a second cast when the caster kills an enemy. Combined with Skill 2, the 20% HP cost of Blade Art wins significant synergy multiplying the damage insanely and making BBK one of the most dangerous characters in the game.

PvE summary

Even if Karin is a character mainly oriented to PvP, she can become an excellent unit for Hunt Bosses. Thanks to her Skill 1, that allows BBK to quickly clear first waves, which makes her the right choice for one-shot boss teams. With proper gear, she has the potential to be one of the best Fodder Farmers.

PvP summary

As said before, she is one of the best PvP characters in the current Meta thanks to her fully offensive-oriented Skills Set, lacking elemental disadvantage and insane damage potential. Truly a character who Destroys in PvP.

Her passive combined with her two remaining skills grants an almost unkillable warrior when she is at her best, gaining bonuses in ATK, DEF, and SPD when she’s in battle and healing herself out of combat.

Of course, this capacity comes when she is maxed out and with a good build oriented to maximize her pros such as DPS or even a tanky one.

Build Guide

There are two ways to build BBK gear. Offensive or Defensive. The build you should choose mostly depends on the team paired to BBK and, of course, being the offensive gear the most recommended.

Offensive

Dues to Karin’s natural High-Speed Attack (111), which increases with her S2, you have to focus on a damage based build because she doesn’t speed at all. ATK/Crit or Destruction/Crit builds are the best choices. She needs high %ATK and %C.Dmg, including 100%C—rate to avoid any miss. Exorcist’s Tonfa is recommended thanks to the extra damage, it is a popular choice. To take advantage of her Extra Turn skill, use Rihanna & Luciella.

Defensive

BBK is not the best choice for defense teams. The best option to build a Counter based set and sacrifice some ATK to get more HP. Also, you need to build her as tanky enough to avoid being one-shooted. In my personal opinion, this choice is precarious, and you won’t be able to take out her max power, and it will be a kind of waste.

Final notes

To finish, there are a few observations that have to be made.

1st: Karin is a, in RPG terms, Late Game Character, which means that she will be only useful leveled up, the minimum level recommended is when she reaches +15 Skill-up.

If you decide to play her, try your best to build a Team where she can be played inoffensive style to obtain the most of her. Finally, be aware of the observation for PvE, she can be a good Farmer with the right gear, but as a PvP Oriented character she is, she can present difficulties in some PvE scenarios.

Well, that was my Blood Blade Karin’s Build Guide. I hope you enjoyed it!

Fastest Way to Challenger

Today we are going to explain from beginning to end on how to create a winning cleave team. If you intend to achieve Challenger, we recommend following this guide that will lead you to your success.

The requirements for building this team are placed in the order that we think it is the best. We are looking at aspects of Core Units, team composition, and stats that are required for this team to work.

This guide is meant for beginners and intermediate level players to better understand the meaning of composing a speed cleave team.

Core Units

Combat Readiness Booster

The importance of combat readiness units is extreme, especially in today’s meta.

Heroes that we recommend are

Celeste with a 50% chance to decrease enemy readiness by 20%.

Judith with 30% combat readiness for the team and a potential 2nd turn stun.

Schuri with 25% team readiness for everyone but himself after he deals with critical damage and -30% readiness for the enemy players.

Shadow rose with +25 readiness for the team, and – 25 readiness for the enemy.

F. Klury with +10 combat readiness when she uses her skill.

A.Cidd with enemy decrease -20% readiness(50% chance).

Attack Buffer

Recommended units are

Diene with the ability to increase teams ATK and crit resists.

Tywin with an increase in ATK, Crit rate, and CR for an allied unit.

Yuna with increased teams ATK and SPD.

General Purrgis with increased team attack and ability to stun two units.

Rose, who is increasing team ATK and CR. Mascot hazel, rising teams ATK, Heal, and a more significant increase of attack for Fire ally.

Helga with increased teams ATK.

Defense Breaker

Tenebria, 60%(Max 75%) defence break for 2 turns.

Bellona, 65%(Max 80%) for 2 turns. She has 20% more if 1s trigger her.

Tywin, 75%(Max 100%) defence break for 2 turns.

Martial artist Ken, with 50%(75% Max) defense break for two turns.

Baal and Sezan, 50% (Max 75%) defense break for two turns.

AOE Damage dealer

Sez, the ice thief. Clarissa, the ice warrior. Celestial Mercedes, the dark mage. Tenebria, the fire mage. Vildred, the earth thief. Silver blade Aramintha, the light mage. Blood blade Karin, the dark thief.

Optional Unit (AOE Stripper).

Hurado, with an 80% chance (Max 100%) to dispel all buffs before decreasing enemy CR by 15%.

Basar, with the ability to dispel all buffs, and preventing the enemy from buffing in the next two turns.

Romann, with the ability to apply poison on enemies, and use self CR boost and dispelling all buffs.

Team Composition

A. Standard Team

With the standard team in choice, we are going to consider the next strategy.

CR booster+ATK buffer+Defence Breaker+AOE Dps

Speed-tuning your Arena Team: In PVP, your units will have random +5% or -5% Combat Readiness. So, your CR booster must-have more than ATK buffer at least 10 SPD to make sure CR booster always goes first.

-Tips:

+Easy to build. If your CR booster is faster, you will have a higher chance of winning.

+You can use one, or two CR boosters. Judith and Roozid/Schuri are good comps because Judith has high base SPD, and Roozid/Schuri has SPD from imprint to make her faster. Helga is also the right choice for ATK buffer cause his imprint gives SPD also.

— If you want to use Tenebria or Haste, use Hazel to increase damage output with her higher ATK buff.

+ If you use Tenebria or Baal as Def Breaker, use Tagahel book for them to get more soul. When your Dps has turn, you can use soul burn to deal more damage to wipe out enemies team.

+ Judith/Roozid will be countered by Hurado. If you want to fight Hurado, use Schuri/Celeste/S.Rose.

+ This team will be countered by immunity or tank team with Krau/C.Armin/Ruele, etc. So, you must have good stripper(Hurado, Basar, Romann) to fight them, or skip that fight; instead, it’s up to you.

B. Ludvig Cleave Team

King Ludvig Cleave’s team is going to have a little different strategy.

Cr. Booster+Atk Buffer/Def breaker+Invincible buff+King Ludvig

-Blaze dingo is going to be the best choice for this composition because of the powerful and attack buff. If you see him, you can use the Defence breaker instead of the attack buffer. Tenebria is the right choice, cause you can use Tagahel book for her, and use Ludvig s3 with Soulburn when he has turn to play.

-You can pair King Ludvig with some units who have crit buffs like challenger Dominiel or Tywin, so you can focus on his ATK and C. Damage to get the highest output damage.

-With this comp and strong enough Ludvig, you easily beat a heavy-tank team with high HP and defensive units like Krau/Ruele/Crimson Armin, etc.

-This team is going to be countered by a team with AOE stripper or a speed team. Just avoid those types of teams if you think you can outspeed them.

Stats Requirement

+ With master rank 200 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 5 rank 220 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 3 rank 235 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 1 rank 245 SPD and above

Where to farm gear with high SPD stats?

+ Grind on Wyvern Hunt: Farming Wyvern 11 is the best way to get gear with high SPD stats, especially Ring/Necklace, because they cannot be obtained from crafting.

+ If you don’t have luck with grinding Wyvern Hunt, and have a lot of gold, try with RNG. Make sure your blacksmith has 3/3/3 upgrades.

+ Raid: Normal Raid can give you functional Boots and Necklace of speed set. You can buy speed armor level 71 and speed sword level 88 from regular and hell raid shop. They have very good sub-stats.

+ Gear Pack: This is only for P2P players, and still, you need some considerable luck to get some good gear drops.

I hope this guide was informative for you, and that will help you in your future Epic Seven endeavors.

Pros

Diene is one of the most versatile Soul Weavers in the game. She improves the damage and bulkiness of your team because she has a 3-turn Attack and Critical Resist buff. She can spam an AoE (Area of Effect) Cleanse and Barrier to your allies.

Cons

Sadly, she is a somewhat limited unit in the current meta and has no healing skills and can be easily countered by units with Strip and Unbuffable skills.

Diene Summary

Diene is one of the most resourceful Soul Weavers that works in almost every team composition. However, she is limited, and most players won’t be able to acquire her.

Skill 1: Light of Judgment (Multiplier: 0.95)

Diene emits a ray of brilliant light that increases the caster’s Combat Readiness (CR) by 10%. This effect doubles when the caster is buffed. Therefore, she can push a 10% CR on herself with her normal attack. With many buffs at her disposal in her S2 and S3, she can obtain high CR with her S1 attack.

Skill 2: Blessings of the Goddess (Cooldown: 4 turns)

With the Blessings of the Goddess, she covers all allies with a barrier for two turns before dispelling one debuff. The barrier’s vitality increases proportionally to the target’s max Health. Her barrier’s strength is 20% of her max Health (can be increased to 30% with a mola upgrade). Diene has a high base Health for a soul weaver (5254), so her barrier will be excellent.

Her S2 only has a 3-turn cooldown period with a mola upgrade, so she can use it often to cleanse, protect, and heal her allies (if she equipped with the Rod of Amaryllis Artifact).

Skill 3: Saint’s Prayer (Cooldown: 5 turns)

A miracle of the Goddess manifests, which increases the attack of all your allies for three turns before it augments the caster’s Combat Readiness by 50%. Because of this unique buff, Diene is limited in the game.

Her S3 provides a 3-turn Attack and Critical resist buff for all your team. Only three units have a 3-turn ATK buff in the game, which are Diene, Maid Chloe, and Vivian, while only two units have a Critical Resist (Diene and ML Crozet) Additionally, she can push up her CR by 50% with this skill.

This makes it very powerful because with incredible personal CR boosts from her S3 and S1; she can cycle her skills quickly. Most of her skills are non-damaging attacks, so she can heal a lot with the Rod of Amaryllis Artifact.

PvE Content

Before Tamarinne and Angelic Montmorancy were released, Diene was the most versatile Soul weaver in the game. She provided everything, except healing, but she can fix it when she is equipped with the Rod of Amaryllis Artifact. Besides her Attack buff and Critical resist, she also has a fast AoE cleanse and strong barrier.

Useful In Hunts

Diene can be useful for every Hunt (including Banshee) and Raid/Abyss. She can be a strong buffer, soul spammer, and provides decent healing with the Rod of Amaryllis. She is also a great unit in Raid, giving bonus points in most team compositions.

PvP Content

In PvP, Diene can improve both the damage and bulkiness of her team. So, she can work well for both offense and defense teams. Her buffs have a long duration, with a 3-turn Attack buff and Critical Resist.

Crit Resist and Combat Readiness

Her Critical Resist is rather strong and unique, with a 50% chance to dodge Critical Hit Damage. This is a huge damage reduction.

Also, she instantly gains 50% of Combat Readiness from using her S3, which means that with a good enough SPD, she can bring near-permanent uptime on Attack buffs and Critical Resistance.

Cleanse with S2

Her S2 can cleanse one debuff from each ally and provides a strong barrier for her team. With a mola upgrade, this skill has only a 3-turn cooldown period, making it very easy to spam to cleanse, protect her allies with a Barrier, and heal them with the Rod of Amaryllis.

Best Paired With AoE Damage Dealers

On offense, she is best paired with a strong AoE damage dealer, such as Vildred, Tenebria, SSB, or Ludwig, because of her 3-turn Attack buff. Her Speed is decent for a soul weaver (103) but not enough to grant her the first turn in PvP, So, Diene needs to be paired with at least one CR pusher, like Roozid, Judith or DJ Basar.

She has incredible personal CR boosts, so once she gets her first turn, she can cycle her turs around extremely quickly to support and protect her team with her buffs.

Good In Guild War

Diene is often used in the Guild War defense but rarely used in the Arena defense because she still has some weaknesses. First, she is countered by units with skills that can dispel or provide an Unbuffable effect. With a low base Speed and her kit revolving around buffs, units like Basar can strip from all her buffs and then apply an Unbuffable, making her useless.

In Challenger rank and higher, Tywin-Basar is a trendy team composition, so Diene poses no problem for them. Her S2 only cleanses one debuff. Therefore, you might have difficulty when fighting against heavy debuffer like Dizzy, Basar, or SSB.

Her S2 will apply a barrier first, then cleanse a debuff. So, if Diene and her team are affected by Unbuffable, she will be unable to use the barrier, even if she cleanses the debuff afterward.

Because of this, she is not used that often in the current Meta. However, she can be a good option in World Arena gameplay because you can pick her on your team and ban the use of strippers, like Basar, in your opponent’s team.

Build

Diene has the same stats as most Soul Weavers. Therefore, she needs better sustainability to keep her allies alive with her buffs.

Gear: Speed/HP set (%HP Necklace, 9%HP Ring SPD Boots)

Stats Priority: SPD> %HP >Resist > %Def

Artifact: Rod of Amaryllis or Magahara’s Tome

Skill Enhanced Priority: S3 (+ 2) > S2 (+ 6) > S1 (+ 5)

Introduction

One of our favorite Epic Seven units, we have decided to present you today with the character Bellona.

Who is Bellona?

She is a genius sorceress from Ezera. Bellona is the daughter of a noble family, she is a tremendous optimistic character, in a perpetual search for something fun that can keep her away from getting bored.

She is born with innate magic that only a few can stand against. Bellona is a 5-Star Earth Ranger, with her Horoscope sign in Capricorn. You can summon her with the right materials on the Forest Spirit Altar.

Skills

Here are her three skills, all active:

Skill 1: Windbreak Fan

She attacks the enemy with a fan. The damage inflicted is proportional to the enemy’s max Health. If the caster’s stacked focus is over 5, she loses all focus and activates Razorwind Fan (her S3).

Skill 2: Butterfly Fan

She attacks all enemies by waving a fan. The more the enemy numbers, the higher the damage she inflicts. It will grant the caster immunity for one turn after the attack. The cooldown is three turns.

Skill 3: Razorwind Fan

Bellona will attack all her enemies by creating a powerful gust of wind. There is a 65% chance to decrease their Defense for two turns. The effect chance increases by 20% when this S3 is triggered by the Windbreak Fan (her S1). With the Burn effect, the damage she inflicts will increase. There is a long cooldown here, however, for six turns.

Build

Pros

Looking over her Powerchart, with her stats compared to the average stats of the other characters, we will very well see that her Speed and Defense are at the average levels.

Cons

The downside is in Utility, which is way behind most characters, whereas she has good scores with Attack and HP. She can bring maximum HP damage with just her normal attack.

This means that Bellona’s ideal build is either Speed or Destruction sets, with CD neck, ATK ring, and SPD boots.

Artifacts

Here are some recommended artifacts that work best with Bellona. To increase her attack, use Rosa Hargana. This is the best item to get her some additional dual attacks and to get focus stacks for her S3. There is also the Bloodstone artifact that she can benefit from for Healing. With her significant damage, the Bloodstone will heal a lot more than used with any other Ranger units.

She also benefits from Daydream joker, as she gets more damage done, and especially paired with Luna or Clorina, that will help you put down Bosses with higher efficiency.

In PVP, she can also benefit from the artifact Sashe Ithanes that will give her more CR when killing enemies.

PvE

For PVE. For Farming, she can use 5 AoE attacks in 7 turns, which is not a top option, but yet a perfect one. With her S1, she can bring significant damage to Golem 11. When combined with her S2 immunity and the consistent Defense break in S3, she becomes one of the most reliable units against Golem but also a fast Banshee killer.

Also, with her AoE attacks and Defense break debuff, she becomes one of the most significant units in Azimanak 11. And she truly shines in Abyss and Raids against the Bosses, especially when on floor 81+

PvP

For PVP. Due to her high base Speed (115) and AoE Defense break, she is perfect for the AoE Cleave team. Bellona is the best partner for C. Dominiel. With her exclusive equipment, the Citrine Treasure, she can get to decrease 15% CR of all enemies. However, as at high rank, most defense teams have immunity. You have to pair her with a strong stripper, like Basar or Hurado.

Pros

Her S1 is very useful about the enemy’s Health, which makes her efficient against Bosses. She has strong AoE attacks and AoE Defense break with S3. Her skill synergy is excellent.

Cons

She is countered by debuff immunity, as she can’t get defense break. She gets squishy if she is built with pure DPS and speed.

Her multipliers are low. Some of her enemies are immune to the HP damage that she can bring, so she gets useless in those situations.

Conclusion

Bellona is a beautiful character choice for PVE action, especially when confronting HP Bosses, a substantial farmer, and top tier Banshee and Golem killer. But she can become significant for PVP also, due to her AoE Defense breaker.

Pros

Basar is the best Stripper in the game and possesses strong debuffs, such as Strip all buffs, Decrease Combat Readiness, Unbuffable, Attack down, Blind, and Transfer debuff. He is mighty in both Offense and Defense.

Cons

Unfortunately, Basar is useless in PvE (Player vs. Environment) and is slightly squishy. He also needs a quite high-Speed stat to perform at his peak.

Basar Skill Summary

Basar is an Earth Mage with skills that apply many debuffs on his enemies and also strips all buffs on them. Additionally, he can also transfer his debuffs to his enemies.

Skill 1: Sand Wind

He attacks with wind magic. When the caster is debuffed, he has a 50% chance (can be increased up to 75%) to transfer one debuff from himself to the enemy before inflicting a random debuff for two turns.

In other words, any time Basar receives a debuff, he is able to transfer it back to his enemy while adding another debuff as well. Therefore, if he has a high-Speed stat, he could cycle more turns and transfer his debuffs to his enemies.

Skill 2: Hurricane ( Cooldown: 3 turns)

Basar attacks all enemies by releasing a hot sand hurricane that possesses a 60% (to a maximum of 75%) chance each to decrease the Hit Chance and Attack for two turns.

The best and most potent debuffs in the current Meta are an Attack down and Blind. This skill practically makes him an Earth “Dizzy” with only a 3-turn cooldown period.

Skill 3: Sandstorm (Cooldown: 4 turns)

He attacks all enemies with sand magic that is capable of dispelling all buffs and making them unable to be buffed for two turns while decreasing their Combat Readiness (CR) by 30%. It also has a Soul burn Effect, which ignores Effect Resistance.

This skill is one of the most potent S3 in the game. This skill has the ability to remove all buffs from your enemies, applies an Unbuffable debuff, and reduces their CR.

When he is equipped with a maxed Tagahel Book Artifact, Basar can Soul burn and ignore your enemies’ Effect Resistance. Because of this, he is irreplaceable in the current offensive cleave Meta.

PvE Content

Basar is powerful in PvP (Player vs. Player), but he is a terrible option in PvE (practically useless in all content).

PvP Content

Basar is an excellent option in PvP gameplay. First, he can transfer his debuffs with his S2, turning him into Earth Dizzy. But the star of his skills is his S3. His S3 can remove all debuffs from your enemies.

AoE Cleanse

Some units can AoE (Area of Effect) cleanse, but few Heroes, like Tamarinne in Idol form, Hurado, Romann, and Basar, can strip all buffs.

Out of all these units, Basar has the fastest speed of 112. Additionally, his S3 has other effects, like reducing their CR by 30% and applying an Unbuffable debuff on them.

Needless to be said, a 30% Combat Readiness is vast in the current Meta. It basically makes it easier for his allies to get that next turn without too much speed. The Unbuffable debuff can counter many buff teams, such as F.Ceci, Maid Chloe, and Crimson Armin.

When equipped with one maxed Tagahel’s Book, he can Soul burn to ensure that the strip lands. Since he has no Immunity, Basar can be paired with one AoE Defense breaker to apply a Defense break debuff on your enemy.

Basar Combines Good With

Basar and Tywin are one of the most common pairings. Tywin can Defense break your enemy with the Soul burn effect and then push up an AoE Damage Dealer to cleave them easier.

It can be challenging to design this combo because you will need two maxed Tagahel’s Book Artifacts to acquire a Soul burn Effect. For this reason, never use your Tagahel’s Book to sell or feed. You can never have enough.

Earth Unit

Remember that Basar is an Earth unit. Therefore, he will have difficulty in fighting individual units, like Ken, Kayron, and Lilas, if he is unable to Soul burn. Lilas is a particular threat because of her elemental advantage that provides a 50% evasion against Basar. Even more, Lilas can also cleanse all debuffs on her team, reduce your CR by 30% and potentially ruin your Basar’s setup.

Squishy

Since he is a Mage, he is squishy and be one-shotted by ML Ken after he uses his S3. DJ Basar with a high-Speed stat and Resistance can cleanse all debuff in his team, provide Immunity, and increase their CR.

Build

The most robust build is a High Speed with a Hit or Immunity set. The Immunity set can protect Basar from debuffs if he is not fast enough.

When you have a high speed, but do not possess a Tagahel’s Book, a Hit set or high Effectiveness is necessary to make sure that his strip lands on his enemies.

Stats Priority: Speed % Effectiveness % HP

Artifact: Tagahel’s Book

Skill Enhanced Priority. He works well with any skill up since his role is to strip, reduce CR, apply an Unbuffable effect, and that’s it.
