Epic Seven How To Build Speed Cleave Team

Fastest Way to Challenger

Today we are going to explain from beginning to end on how to create a winning cleave team. If you intend to achieve Challenger, we recommend following this guide that will lead you to your success.

The requirements for building this team are placed in the order that we think it is the best. We are looking at aspects of Core Units, team composition, and stats that are required for this team to work.

This guide is meant for beginners and intermediate level players to better understand the meaning of composing a speed cleave team.

Core Units

Combat Readiness Booster

The importance of combat readiness units is extreme, especially in today’s meta.

Heroes that we recommend are

  • Celeste with a 50% chance to decrease enemy readiness by 20%.
  • Judith with 30% combat readiness for the team and a potential 2nd turn stun.
  • Schuri with 25% team readiness for everyone but himself after he deals with critical damage and -30% readiness for the enemy players.
  • Shadow rose with +25 readiness for the team, and – 25 readiness for the enemy.
  • F. Klury with +10 combat readiness when she uses her skill.
  • A.Cidd with enemy decrease -20% readiness(50% chance).

Attack Buffer

Recommended units are

  • Diene with the ability to increase teams ATK and crit resists.
  • Tywin with an increase in ATK, Crit rate, and CR for an allied unit.
  • Yuna with increased teams ATK and SPD.
  • General Purrgis with increased team attack and ability to stun two units.
  • Rose, who is increasing team ATK and CR. Mascot hazel, rising teams ATK, Heal, and a more significant increase of attack for Fire ally.
  • Helga with increased teams ATK.

Defense Breaker

  • Tenebria, 60%(Max 75%) defence break for 2 turns.
  • Bellona, 65%(Max 80%) for 2 turns. She has 20% more if 1s trigger her.
  • Tywin, 75%(Max 100%) defence break for 2 turns.
  • Martial artist Ken, with 50%(75% Max) defense break for two turns.
  • Baal and Sezan, 50% (Max 75%) defense break for two turns.

AOE Damage dealer

Sez, the ice thief. Clarissa, the ice warrior. Celestial Mercedes, the dark mage. Tenebria, the fire mage. Vildred, the earth thief. Silver blade Aramintha, the light mage. Blood blade Karin, the dark thief.

Optional Unit (AOE Stripper).

  • Hurado, with an 80% chance (Max 100%) to dispel all buffs before decreasing enemy CR by 15%.
  • Basar, with the ability to dispel all buffs, and preventing the enemy from buffing in the next two turns.
  • Romann, with the ability to apply poison on enemies, and use self CR boost and dispelling all buffs.

Team Composition

A. Standard Team

With the standard team in choice, we are going to consider the next strategy.

CR booster+ATK buffer+Defence Breaker+AOE Dps

Speed-tuning your Arena Team: In PVP, your units will have random +5% or -5% Combat Readiness. So, your CR booster must-have more than ATK buffer at least 10 SPD to make sure CR booster always goes first.

-Tips:

+Easy to build. If your CR booster is faster, you will have a higher chance of winning.

+You can use one, or two CR boosters. Judith and Roozid/Schuri are good comps because Judith has high base SPD, and Roozid/Schuri has SPD from imprint to make her faster. Helga is also the right choice for ATK buffer cause his imprint gives SPD also.

— If you want to use Tenebria or Haste, use Hazel to increase damage output with her higher ATK buff.

+ If you use Tenebria or Baal as Def Breaker, use Tagahel book for them to get more soul. When your Dps has turn, you can use soul burn to deal more damage to wipe out enemies team.

+ Judith/Roozid will be countered by Hurado. If you want to fight Hurado, use Schuri/Celeste/S.Rose.

+ This team will be countered by immunity or tank team with Krau/C.Armin/Ruele, etc. So, you must have good stripper(Hurado, Basar, Romann) to fight them, or skip that fight; instead, it’s up to you.

B. Ludvig Cleave Team

King Ludvig Cleave’s team is going to have a little different strategy.

Cr. Booster+Atk Buffer/Def breaker+Invincible buff+King Ludvig

-Blaze dingo is going to be the best choice for this composition because of the powerful and attack buff. If you see him, you can use the Defence breaker instead of the attack buffer. Tenebria is the right choice, cause you can use Tagahel book for her, and use Ludvig s3 with Soulburn when he has turn to play.

-You can pair King Ludvig with some units who have crit buffs like challenger Dominiel or Tywin, so you can focus on his ATK and C. Damage to get the highest output damage.

-With this comp and strong enough Ludvig, you easily beat a heavy-tank team with high HP and defensive units like Krau/Ruele/Crimson Armin, etc.

-This team is going to be countered by a team with AOE stripper or a speed team. Just avoid those types of teams if you think you can outspeed them.

Stats Requirement

+ With master rank 200 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 5 rank 220 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 3 rank 235 SPD and above

+ With Challenger 1 rank 245 SPD and above

Where to farm gear with high SPD stats?

+ Grind on Wyvern Hunt: Farming Wyvern 11 is the best way to get gear with high SPD stats, especially Ring/Necklace, because they cannot be obtained from crafting.

+ If you don’t have luck with grinding Wyvern Hunt, and have a lot of gold, try with RNG. Make sure your blacksmith has 3/3/3 upgrades.

+ Raid: Normal Raid can give you functional Boots and Necklace of speed set. You can buy speed armor level 71 and speed sword level 88 from regular and hell raid shop. They have very good sub-stats.

+ Gear Pack: This is only for P2P players, and still, you need some considerable luck to get some good gear drops.

I hope this guide was informative for you, and that will help you in your future Epic Seven endeavors.
