Elder Scrolls Online Daily Reset Guide

Elder Scrolls Online has various actions, resetting daily. That includes daily quests, dungeons, and fence limits. You could consider the time of reset to keep on a continuous gaming flow. It would help you not only to avoid waiting but also to get the most bonuses for quests.

Dailies

The daily quests allow getting additional rewards, unique items, and experience. They are limited to one per day in a category. You are not allowed to complete more than 40 quests daily in total. To enter quests you might need to be at a particular level or have completed other quests. However, other quests are available even for newcomers with zero experience.

The writs are the easiest quests, which let you receive much of reward in a short time. The perfect choice for those starting to play. As a first step, you need to get a certificate from a trainer NPC by completing a quite easy task. At a time there can be only one quest, so only one certification, active, but you can later get other certificates one by one for each of six professions (equipment crafting: Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Clothing; consumable crafting: Alchemy, Provisioning, Enchanting).

After the certification is done, daily Crafting Writs become available – one for each profession. To complete the quest, you need materials, however, the reward costs much more than the materials you buy. For the completion, a player will receive materials (with a chance of rare gold materials), experience and Master Writs – a special task with higher complexity and better rewards.

There are other solo quests, which do not require to build up a team. Some quests that meant to be completed in a group of four, you can still complete alone if you feel confident. The quests of a specific zone drop different motifs. That’s why you are suggested to play in the zones, which can give you the motifs you’re interested in. To get access to some quests you might need to have DLCs.

The daily quests may be shared. That means you get every day a random quest from a quest giver. However, you can share it with someone else or ask another player to share his quest with you. You can then take on the quest on your own or with a group. Sharing quests in a group is an effective practice to get quickly through quests and get rewards. All the daily quests reset at 2 am EST.

Dungeons

Dungeons are a kind of quest that generally requires the teamwork of four: two damage dealers, one healer, and one tank. The activity is more challenging and has, for example, multiple bosses to fight, each having its features to deal with. However, the team will receive a unique set of items for the bosses.

To take part in a dungeon you should have the tenth level as a minimum. The dungeons are marked with a sign on a map. To join the team you need to get into the queue, choosing your desired role. There are also specific modes:

Random Veteran Dungeon. You will join a random dungeon with a higher difficulty (veteran mode). Random Normal Dungeon. You will still get in a random group but with a normal difficulty level. Specific Dungeon. You choose on your own, which particular group you want to join.

The number of dungeons per day is not limited. However, if you play the first time today and in one of the random modes, you will get a daily premium bonus. For specific dungeon mode, as well as for the next dungeons on the same day, you will get a regular reward only.

The dungeons have different difficulty and some of them have more than one version, so you can decide on your own at which level you want to enter. But at level 45, you can join the Undaunted guild and get a new skill line. Here you will need to take on pledges. These are tasks to defeat the bosses within particular dungeons. If successful, you will receive unique rewards, which are also unable through other activities.

The pledges are daily activities and you can get up to three of them per day. For the completion, you additionally receive keys: one for normal and veteran mode, and two keys for the hard mode of bosses. The keys let you open chests with random monster set items.

The premium bonus reward reset occurs every 20 hours and has no particular time. The pledges reset each day at 2 am EST, similarly to other daily quests.

Fence limit

As theft theoretically could give some players plenty of money, there are restrictions on a number of items to be stolen and sold. At the first level, the number is 50 per day. Legerdemain Skills (passive skills) allow making the chances of successful stealing higher. You can unlock the skills by moving on to the higher Legerdemain Ranks by investing points. You earn them by stealing items of various difficulties. For simple chests, you will receive 1 point, for the intermediate ones – 2 points, and for the advanced – 4 points. There is also the Trafficker skill that allows having more fence interactions per day. Moving on to the higher rank of the skill, you multiply the number of fence interactions by a percentage:

I Rank – 120%;II Rank – 140%;III Rank – 160%;IV Rank – 180%.

Generally, you can increase the fence limit up to 140 a day.

The time of the fence limit reset is related to the North American server. The full reset occurs every day at 10 pm EST (or 11 pm EDT).

So nice planning of your gaming will let you not to get bored with waiting times in Elder Scrolls Online. It will also provide you with the most efficient way to get most of the rewards for daily quests. Moreover, the variety allows to gather ultimate gaming experience – you can complete up to 40 different quests a day.
