The General Guide To Our Lord And Savior, Kayron.
Table of Contents
Introduction
Kayron is an Acolyte who will do everything to destroy Orbis. His ability to survive lethal damage and deal AoE quite often makes him so powerful. Also, his base speed is 129 so depending on your build and his team around him, he can deal massive damage and be quick. Also, he can be a farmer if you build him with Immunity Set.
Skills
- Skill 1 – A single target attack that can be an AoE if he’s granted with a buff. It will not trigger a dual attack from your allies if it’s an AoE. Great basic attack especially for a dps.
- Skill 2 – A passive skill that grants him immortality for 1 turn if his HP goes below 0. This what makes him super annoying if the enemy team doesn’t have any dispels. Also, when this passive skill activates, his skill 3 resets.
- Skill 3 – A single target attack that deals massive damage and grant a 2 turn attack on him. Also, if the target dies, he extends his existing buffs by 1 turn. Great skill to nuke your target and have an attack and spd buff for your next turn.
Builds
There are two kinds of build for Kayron. One is having a decent amount of speed (I’ll explain this later) with really high offensive stats and the other one is what I call a SuperSonicfragilistocexpialidocious. This build will highlight his high base speed and can still deal a decent amount of damage. Cycling through turns and dealing AoE attacks.
- Build 1:
Destruction/Immunity, Attack/Immunity, 2xCrit/Immunity. This build will enable him to do massive AoE damage for his s1 and nuke with his s3 without being debuffed to death with the help of Immunity set. Mind you that with the release of Dizzy, you would need 170-200 speed Kayron depending if your team can support him with his speed.
- Build 2:
Speed/Immunity, Speed/Crit. Now, speed? On Kayron? Are you out of your mind? No. This build is only for PvP. You can use it for PvE but you would want the other builds that can grant him high offensive stats for quick clearing. Reminder: This build requires you to have 240+ speed to be able to surprise roozid and Ise+Tama comps. Also, maintain 2.8k attack on him and 230% crit damage so he can still deal a decent amount of damage. Do not attempt if you’re relatively new to the game or very casual in PvP area.
P.S. All of the builds can be use in PvE as well but if you’re going to use him purely for PvE, I suggest just stack him with damage with 130-150 speed with Immunity set so he can have an AoE skill 1 every stage. Turn off skills when farming auto.
Artifacts
- Dust Devil – This artifact, in my opinion, is the best artifact for him due to the fact that he has a chance to double AoE skill one.
- Portrait of Saviors/Exorcist’s Tonfa – These artifacts increase your damage output against targets that are above 50% HP. Great artifact to nuke multiple units with his skill 1 and potentially nuke important targets with his s3.
- Moonlight Dreamblade – If you are running a comp without any attack buffer, this artifact will grant you instant attack buff from Dizzy. Make sure that he is equipped with Immunity so Dizzy debuffs won’t cripple him. Also gives you an evasion.
- Rhianna & Luciella – Really niche artifact for him and it is not recommended for new players. This will only work for really fast Kayron that can cycle through turns. If it procs, you can do a s3 > s2 combo in 1 turn.
- Ancient Sheath – Artifact that boosts your Skill 1 damage. Great artifact for farming since his Skill 1 is AoE.
- Alexa’s Basket – An Artifact that gives you a % chance to grant Greater Attack Buff and Critchance Buff. Great for Speed build Kayrons.
Team Compositions (PvP)
Building a team around him is quite difficult now due to the current meta and the amount of dispells and debuffs to cripple him. After 7 months of using him these are the units that works for me.
- Kitty Clarissa – A good cleanser all around with the ability to trigger dual attack for him. Her warrior class also benefits her to use Strak Gauntlet and just stack resist. Really good unit with Kayron and to remove debuffs on him, enabling him to do his damage output.
- Mascot Hazel – A Soulweaver that grants Kayron a greater attack buff for two turns. With this buff, he will increase his damage and able to extend it with his skill 3. Also, she can heal him if he ever popped his skill 2.
- Angelic Montmorancy – Another great cleanser for Kayron to minimize debuffs on him. Really great against heavy debuffers such as Silver Blade Aramintha and Dizzy.
- Auxiliary Lots – What more can I say, he’s the best enabler for all of the dps. He can reliably boost your dps to 100% combat readiness and grants an attack buff. Really great unit if you want to just stack Kayron a lot of offensive stats without any speed at all.
- Crescent Moon Rin – 126 Base Speed AoE Immunity Provider Unit. Really good against Dizzy and Debuffers to bring up the Immunity buff first before they’ll have the chance to debuff Kayron. Recommended to have Kayron at least 180+ Speed so he can follow up early with his s3.
- Shooting Star Achates – Forgot to put this beauty here in this guide. SSA is a great companion for Kayron due to the fact that she can activate Kayron’s maximum damage output regarding his lost hp % based damage with her revive mechanic. Great unit to have for OFFENSE only (since SSA’s AI is kinda iffy).
Overall, these are the units that I use to be able to work with Kayron on Offense and Defense. Of course, many of you don’t have these units but do keep in mind that a lot of units have similar skills. I’ll give you guys an example of a team comp to give you an idea on how to use him.
Kayron, Kitty Clarissa, Mascot Hazel, Krau
Explanation – This is a turn two team against heavy debuffer comps like Dizzy, ML Baal, and ML Ara. Assuming you achieve the required resistance for Kitty Clarissa, which is 150%+, you’ll be able to clear all debuffs from him and your team. Just make sure that Kclarissa will go first before your whole team.
General Opinion About Him With The Current Meta
People will say “Oh, he’s not good for Arena now because of the release of Dizzy” “He sucks” “Don’t use him.” I kinda agree with the Dizzy part but in my opinion he’s still a very good dps. It will really just depends if your team can support him and help him. I still use him for Arena despite it full of Dizzy comps. It’s just that I have a staple cleanser (Kitty Clarissa) to every match with Kayron.
I hope this guide will give you an insight on Kayron and may the Goddess suffer to those who managed to pull him.
