Introduction

Kayron is a fantastic Fire unit in Epic Seven. He is the fastest, has both areas of effect and single-target damage, and much more. However, he heavily relies on buffs and is weak to dispel and crowd control.

Kayron is amazing in PvP and notably Real-Time Arena (RTA). He has unique abilities to extend his buffs, which makes him exceptionally strong when paired with immortality.

Abilities

Immortality Will (Passive)

Immortality Will grants Kayron immortality for one turn when the caster receives lethal damage. The downside is; it can only be activated once every nine turns.

On the caster’s turn, when he is buffed and using Void Slash, the skills will become AoE attacks and will not trigger Dual Attack. Thanks to this passive, Kayron cannot be one-shot unless he was Unbuffable before. This passive also resets the skill cooldowns of his S3.

Void Slash

Kayron attacks with a 35% (max. 50%) chance to decrease Hit Chance for one turn, dealing damage proportional to the caster’s lost health. However, if Kayron is buffed, his normal attack becomes an AoE version, making Kayron one of the few units that have AoE damage with S1.

This ability also has a 50% chance to Blind enemies and deal damage based on Kayron’s lost health.

Apocalypse

With this ability, Kayron attacks the enemy, increasing the attack of the caster for two turns. It has a cooldown of 6 turns and a multiplier of 1,53.

When the enemy is defeated, extends any buffs granted to the caster by one turn and also deals damage proportional to the caster’s lost health. This ability can do vast amounts of damage because of this. Also, his exclusive equipment can make his S3 apply the Silence debuff on the enemy, which is also very useful.

PvE

Kayron is not that useful in PvE action. Most of the time, he is used as a Farmer. He should just be run with an Immunity set, so he gets an AoE attack every turn to clear monsters faster. He can, in some cases, be used against the Golem, but other DPS units like Cermia or Sol are much more efficient than him.

Sometimes, using Kayron in PvE, like against the Golem, can set you back. His AoE attack from S1 will give Golem more stacks to counter his allies and stun them. There are definitely better units than Kayron to be used in PvE.

PvP

In PvP, he can be used both offensively and defensively. Generally, he is used to countering cleave teams that do not have a stripper or units that cannot be buffed. With his Exclusive Equipment that allows him to Silence enemies with his S3 and his sheer speed, he can even counter a Basar team composition.

is the best partner in action is for sure Shooting Star Achates. Her S2 can give Kayron 3 turns of the Immortality buff. That allows him to deal a ton of damage because the amount of damage he deals is based on his missing health. Even if he dies, she can revive him with 1 HP and the Immortality buff. Furthermore, Kayron’s most significant weakness in PvP are units who can Dispel his Immortality buff or units, which can make him Unbuffable.

Kayron needs excellent support in PvP, especially in Real-Time Arena, where his biggest enemy is Seaside Bellona. She can apply Unbuffable on him, and his AoE damage will only destroy his allies with Seaside Bellona’s counterattack.

Build

For PvE

The standard build for PvE is with ATK/Immunity or Destruction/Immunity. He needs an Immunity set and severe damage to cleave monsters with his S1. Portrait of Savior/Tonfa artifacts is the best for him if you want to use him as a Farmer.

For PvP

There are two main ways to build him for PvP.

The first one is a high-speed Kayron with Speed/Crit sets. The purpose of this set is to have the highest SPD for Kayron to get the first turn and silence his enemies with his Exclusive Equipment. This build is usually used to counter Basar in Real-Time Arena.

You do not need the Immunity set for this build, as the Crit set is much better if you want to do the maximum amount of damage. The best choice for this build with self buffs is undoubtedly Alexa’s Basket.

The second build is slower, Kayron, but with more considerable damage. The sets used should be ATK/Immunity or Destruction/Immunity. He can use Portrait of Savior/Tonfa or Dust Devil to maximize his damage output, but he will need excellent support. An ATK buffer or a cleanser will help both works.
