Yufine

Yufine is an Earth Warrior that is most commonly used in the Guild Wars offense. If you give her the right setup, she has the potential to one-shot the majority of units in the game.

Pros

Yufine can one-shot potential DPS while dispelling all buffs and stunning an enemy. Her AoE (Area of Effect) can dispel one buff and also Silence. Her skills enable her to self-Attack and Speed buff. Additionally, her normal attack can Defense break.

Cons

She requires a good setup to get the best efficiency, and she is rather squishy with a long cooldown.

Skills

Skill 1: Double Slash (Multiplier: 1.0)

She attacks by swinging their weapon, with a 35% (max 50%) chance to decrease Defense by two turns. She can apply a Defense break for two turns with her normal attack, but it has a rather low chance (it can be maxed to 50%). If you need a reliable Defense breaker, Yufine is not the best option.

Skill 2: Dragon’s Roar (Cooldown: 4 turns, Multiplier: 0.9)

Yufine attacks with a dragon howl that is able to dispel one buff from all enemies and has a 75% (to a maximum of 85%) chance to silence for one turn. Her S2 is an AoE attack that dispels one buff and applies a Silence debuff on your enemies. It also provides an Attack and Speed buff for two turns.

Skill 3: Dragon Change (Cooldown: 5 turns, Multiplier: 1.9)

She hits the enemy with a finishing blow that dispels all debuffs and stuns for one tum. The damage dealt increases by 50% if the enemy is buffed. It also acquires a Soul Burn effect, which grants an extra turn.

This is one of the strongest single-target skills in the game. Just like Charles, Yufine becomes stronger when fighting against buffed enemies. She is able to dispel all buffs and then stun the enemy for one turn. Additionally, her S3 receives a 50% damage increase if the enemy is buffed. With the current defense Meta that uses a lot of healers and buffers, Yufine is most commonly used on PvP Offense (especially in Guild Wars offense).

PvE Content

Wyvern 11

It is a death wish to use Earth units in Wyvern. You have been warned.

Golem 11

Yufine is one of the best non-Fire DPS for Golem because of her self-Attack and Speed buffs, a Defense break chance, and a dispel capability with great damage. However, her S2’s stun effect is practically useless against the Boss.

Banshee 11

Yufine is another unit that is capable of one-shotting Banshee 11, besides Baiken, Ludwig, and W.Schuri. Nonetheless, Baiken and Ludwig require three turns to Attack buff themselves. At the same time, W. Schuri needs godly gears to one-shot Banshee. On the other hand, Yufine only requires two turns to Attack buff, like Helga, General Purrgis or Charles, and lower gear quality to do it.

Azimanak 11

She can produce serious single-target damage, but she has only one skill with AoE damage and dispels. And unfortunately, it has a long cooldown (4 turns). Her S2 also gives her two buffs, so you will get in trouble if you pair her with a different type of buff unit. If your team has more than three buffs, the Boss will use her ultimate skill to dispel them and silence your team.

Raid and Abyss

Yufine is a good unit for Raids (especially in Normal Raids) because she has good morale and an “unlimited immortal trick” with her Exclusive equipment. But it is best not to use it.

Yufine Build

Yufine has a high base HP, but avoid building her like a bruiser. She is a one-shot machine, so she needs pretty typical DPS gear. You need to prioritize her in Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage so her S3 can hit as hard as possible.

An Attack/Critical or a Destruction/Critical set will be the best option for her. The rest of her gear stats can be filled with some Speed or Effectiveness.

A higher Effectiveness will give her more chance to Defense break, dispel, and silence enemies. Yufine doesn’t need a lot of Speed because she requires a good CR pusher in her team. However, a faster Speed will always be better than a low-Speed stat.

Artifacts

In regards to Artifacts, the Portrait of Savior and the Exorcist’s Tonfa are the best choices if you want to deal maximum damage. The Hell Cutter and Uberius’s Tooth are also heavy DPS artifacts. If you want to more sustainability for her, you can try to use Sigurd Scythe or Draco Place.

Stats Priority: %ATK > %Critical Damage > %Critical Rate > SPD

Skill Enhanced Priority: S3 (+6)> S2 (+3) > S1 (+5)

Yufine in PvP

Yufine is often used in PvP, especially in Guild War Offense. Her power comes from her S3 as she can one-shot a core unit from your enemy’s team with it. Additionally, her S3 does more damage to an enemy who has any buff, which is very prominent in PvP. Most people prefer to use Immunity for their defense team, or some fast buffer, such as Maid Chloe, F.Ceci or Diene.

You will have a lot of trouble when fighting against Charles, SSB, or ML Ken if they have Immunity, Barrier, and an Attack buff. If you are unable to one-shot them, they will counter you until they defeat you. But for Yurfine, they generate no difficulty for her. Her S3 can dispel all buffs with serious multiplier damage. If she is paired with Aux Lots, she can one-shot most units with ease.

The best way to use Yufine is to have her one-shot an enemy right on the first tum of battle. However, it’s not easy to use her that way because Yufine needs a good CR pusher and relies on her enemy being buffed to maximize her damage. Most of her damage comes from her S3, but her S3 has a lengthy cooldown (4 turns even with a mola upgrade).

Yufine has good base HP, but she is still squishy with very low Defense. She also has no way to protect herself from any enemy. She needs strong defensive support from her allies so she can survive long enough in battle.
