Faramis Skills
Skill 1: Shadow Stampede – in his skill 1, Faramis enters the shadow state and increases his movement speed as well as physical and magical defense. You can see the shadow’s duration on the time bar. For example, movement speed is 290, the physical defense is 66, and the magical defense is 33. In shadow form, movement speed is 476, the physical defense is 116, and the magical defense is 133.
When Faramis encounters enemy heroes in shadow form, he marks them and deals magic damage. When he exits shadow’s form, he pulls those marked enemies towards him. When enemies get pulled towards him, they get magic damage, but if you get too far away, Faramis won’t be able to pull them. The chain behind him disappears when you go too far. He can pull any enemy from the enemy’s team, but, again, watch for distance. When Faramis exits this state after marking enemies and pulls them towards him, he gets his hp regen. The more enemies he pulls, the more hp he gets. Faramis can use all of his skills while he’s in shadow form. Whether it’s skill two or ultimate, that won’t be a problem.
Skill 2: Ghost Busters – in his skill 2, Faramis extracts a burst of evil spirits in a fan-shaped area. These spirits deal magic damage to enemies in the area. After hitting an enemy, these spirits bounce three times and hit other heroes. The bouncing of spirits starts from those who take a direct hit by Faramis. The more heroes you can attack using this skill, the more these spirits will bounce. For spirits to bounce back, enemies should be in close range, don’t attack someone who is away with their team. You can even attack the enemy’s tank with this because it’ll bounce back and hit enemies behind him. Note that while these spirits bounce three times on enemy heroes, they bounce just once on non-hero units, including jungle monsters.
ULTIMATE
Skill 3/Ulti: Cult Altar – His ulti allows him to instantly resurrect the dead for some time. Faramis is famous for his ability to change the outcome of a team fight. The most amazing thing about his ultimate is that you can control your hero after its resurrection, and you have 100% of your hp and full attack power. Faramis casts a spell on a certain area of the battlefield, and every allied hero that dies in this area is resurrected. This Alter stays up for 10 seconds. No matter how many times you die, you’ll keep resurrecting within this time frame. Even if you didn’t die after resurrecting, a circle appears at your feet, acting as a timer. After the resurrection, you can only stay alive for around 10 seconds. You can keep resurrecting after dying in this alter. But if you died outside of this alter, then you’re just dead.
Passive
Faramis passive is called Viciously Retrieval. When units die near Faramis, they leave their souls at the spot, Farmis regens some hp after retrieving the soul. These souls stack and reduce the resurrection time of Farmis. It can reduce resurrection time up to 90%. You can stack them up to 18, and when you die, these stacks reset to 0.
Faramis Emblem
Let’s start with the emblem configuration. For Faramis, it’s suggested to use three different emblem configurations, one of each type.
1) custom support emblem:
- Mastery 2/3
- Agility 1/3
- Rupture 3/3
- Focusing Mark 1/1
2) custom mage emblem:
- Mastery 2/3
- Agility 1/3
- Observation 3/3
- Mystery Shop 1/1
3) custom tank emblem:
- Firmness 3/3
- Inspire 1/3
- Purity 2/3

Faramis Recommended Build
Burst damage builds, use it with mage emblem to make it more powerful:
- Demon Shoes
- Fleeting Time
- Concentrated Energy
- Necklace of Durance
- Lightning Truncheon
- Winter Truncheon
On the downside, you’ll be an easy target for the enemy’s assassin with this build.
Full support and tank build, use it with any emblem, support is suggested though:
- Demon Shoes
- Fleeting Time
- Necklace of Durance
- Athena’s Shield
- Courage Bulwark
- Antique Cuirass
If you want to be tankier, go for a tank. For damage, you have damage dealers, so don’t use mage.
Faramis Recommended Spell
Since Faramis lacks escape ability, these two are the best spells for him:
- Flicker
- Sprint
They will help him escape if and when the situation gets out of control.
How to Gank With Faramis
Because of his tanky properties, Faramis can easily initiate battle. His skill 1 acts like Franco’s hook, but it’s easier to use. Don’t forget to collect souls. They reduce your resurrection time. When your teammate’s hp is low, cast ulti whenever the enemy attacks and make sure they are in the alter. Always stay with your team; always be ready to save your ally or to initiate a fight. Stay ahead of your damage dealer, and instead of focusing on yourself, focus on them. Be aware of them and ask for their coordination, or you’ll die for no reason!
When there’s a burst hero like Nana, Kagura, Helcurt uses your ulti, as burst can easily kill your squishy ally.
Best Teammates
As a hero with tanky properties and initiating skills, Faramis can easily cope with mid-lane heroes. Some of these heroes are:
- Harley
- Harith
Other heroes like Kimmy, Helcurt as well as all the other mms can sync with him easily.
Gameplay Tips & Tricks
Most of the gameplay tips and tricks of playing Faramis are given with his skills. But there are a couple of things we can add. For instance, when the turret is diving, make sure to go in your shadow form. Start the game by unlocking skill one, and whenever you get skill 3/ulti, try to gank inside the enemy’s turret. Finally, no matter what build you use, always get fleeting time after shoes.
