Granger (The Death Chanter) is the newest marksman around; he is a Reap and Burst Marksman hero with high movement speed and damage.

Introduction
A marksman is a type of role that consists of severe damage, distance, and critical, which is commonly referred to as carrying/attack damage carry (ADC).
They defeat enemies from afar. The key in mastering this type of hero is to be witty and keep a distance from the opponent’s heroes. This type of hero has low movement speed and durability during the start of a game.
The marksman type hero relies often rely on tanks.
It’s advised to use gears that increase attack speed for this type of hero. Besides killing the enemy, the marksman can destroy the tower quickly.
Compared to other marksmen, Granger’s attributes are lower. But his abilities make up for the gap in his primary attributes, although he does have high movement speed and severe damage.
Passive and Active Skills
Passive skill
Caprice (Passive skill)
Granger’s basic attack uses one bullet, six bullets are loaded into his gun at a time. The 6th bullet causes critical damage. His basic attacks deal more damage, though he only gains 50% attack speed from emblems and equipment.
Active skills
Rhapsody (Skill 1) – Burst skill
Granger shoots all his bullets forward, and each bullet will deal 30 (plus 80% Total Physical Attack) point of Physical Damage to enemies.
Rondo (Skill 2) – Dash skill
Granger can blink in the designated direction. The following two basic attacks will deal with an extra 10% of damage in a time frame of 5 seconds. Each time Rhapsody successfully hit an enemy hero, the cooldown of this skill reduces by 0.5 seconds.
Death Sonata (Ultimate) – Burst skill
Granger transforms his violin into a cannon and fills it with bullets. He then proceeds to shoot two supper bullets forward at a time. The bullets only hit enemy heroes and will explode upon hitting the first hero, dealing 150 (plus 100% Total Physical Attack) point of Physical Damage to nearby enemy heroes and slow their movement speed by 80%.
Each time Granger shoots a super bullet, he can move to a different location when this ultimate end, the cooldown of this skill is reduced by 15% for every two remaining bullets.

This is the best skill to use for this marksman. Granger can quickly escape or engage in battle with it, and it enhances chase downs and strategic retreats.

When using this skill with Granger, players can easily solo farm during the start of the game.

Item Build
Here are two items build we recommend for Granger, both defensive and full attack builds.
Full attack item build
- We recommend using Blade of Heptaseas instead of Blade of despair since it’s cheaper. The effects are very similar, and this will reduce the enemy hero’s armor and increase damage output or taken.
- Use Wind of Nature instead of Endless Battle to gain 2 seconds of immunity against physical damages from the enemy.
Defensive item build

Skill Combinations
This skill combination can trigger endless battle passive.
Start a fight with an ultimate from a long-range. Then use Rondo dash skill (Skill 2) to close the gap between enemies. Finish them off with Rhapsody burst skill (Skill 1).
Granger is Strong Against
Heroes with low movement speed or mobility because, with his high mobility, he can easily hit them with his skills.
Granger is Weak Against
Heroes with high CC (crowd control) skills or heroes with high movement speed and mobility.
Granger is best paired up with – Heroes that have high CC (crowd control) skills since they can assist him in hitting abilities quickly.
Laning Strategy
- Skill upgrade(s) – Max out Granger’s Rhapsody skill (Skill 1) first and Max out his ultimate skill (Death Sonata) whenever possible or available, and lastly, Max out the death chanter’s Rondo skill (Skill 2) last.
- Clear out minions first – Start with Hunter’s Knife and clear off the minions first for more comfortable wins.
3.Midlaner – If you’re playing with the marksman as a solo midlaner, secure the crab after clearing out the impending minion waves.
4.Sidelaner – If you’re using Granger as a sidelaner, let him stick to the sides until reaching level 4. Once the level is reached, roam around the area and finish of enemy heroes with low health points (HP) using the death chanter’s ultimate skill (Death sonata).
- Auto aiming – Use auto-aim when using Granger’s ultimate ability (Death sonata) when enemy heroes are vertically aligned from the player’s point of view.
6.Manual aiming – However, use manual aim when using his ultimate skill when enemy heroes are horizontally aligned from the player’s point of view.
- Skill combination – Often combine Granger’s Rhapsody (Skill 1) and Rondo (Skill 2) skills when possible because when paired, this skill combinations ensure an increase in damage inflicted on the enemy team.
- Damage enemies as much as possible – Since Granger can use his skills while mobile or moving, damage as much as enemies (minions and enemy heroes) as you can while chasing.
Granger is a tricky character to master, and numerous things can go wrong when trying to combine his skills, that’s why his difficulty level is ranked high. Patience and perseverance are the keys to mastering the Death Chanter.
