Introduction
We will look at all the classes and how they stack up against each other. This tier list will compare all the classes at their best possible versions, which means they are fully stacked with engravings. All the classes in the lost ark are top tier if you play it right. We will not rank bard and paladin for this ranking and put them under the support tier.
The S tier
Gun Lancer
Their damage output is as good as the damage dealer, although they are considered a tank. They have consistent damage output and utilities in a party. They have high staggers, shield, buff, debuff and he can solo. Gun lancer is the only class with the whole kit and does not have any downside except mobility.
Berserker
The madness berserker is recently has been reworked with pretty awesome class engraving. Berserker has a high damage number and becomes a beast in madness build. Permanent berserk mode receives extra attack speed, move speed, and damage. Your HP will permanently decrease 25%, but you take 65% less damage so you only need to have the green potion to heal fully every time.
The A tier
Wardancer
A pretty hard class to master because you need to know when to unleash your power skills and time your buff windows. They are a favorite in parties due to their ability to consistently bring damage and buffs. She has high speed and easily moves in and out of battle due to her agility.
Gunslinger
An overall ranged DPS that uses a sniper rifle to deal damage. It also has a lot of mobility and a complete close range, mid-range, and long-range hit on the boss without hurting the damage output.
Sorceress
This is a magician with high damage numbers and high cast times that can be reduced using her identity. Although sorceress is squishy, she can use her identity and mobility to counter it. She can unleash all her burst skills very quickly. She has a lot of mobility and can blink multiple times in a short span if there is trouble.
Artillerist
One of the tankiest characters in this game due to his shield and damage reduction engraving. They produce big numbers of damage but it depends on how you predict and land your attack. A safe class but hard to master due to the stationary and prediction play style.
Shadowhunter
Shadowhunter is a simple flashy class with consistent damage. This is one of the cheapest classes to play if you go to demon form build which is quite strong. She can also choose a form that neglects its transformation to demon form and is overall good.
The B tier
Striker
This is a high-skill ceiling class with lots of damage but his playstyle is quite difficult because you must constantly place yourself behind the boss. He is built with good mobility and relies heavily on back attacking.
Soulfist
This is a close-range battlemage type of fighter who uses its identity to buff herself and do a lot of high damage. This character is hard to play due to the positioning during combat. The landing of the awakening skill also takes a long time to cast but this skill is the strongest in this game and landing one of those will change the course of the battle.
Scrapper
It is the most balanced class in this game, not great but not terrible. Heavy feel will smash anything in his way and keep track of skills to balance him out. Consistent damage but nothing over the top.
Deathblade
Fast-moving class with tons of charging skills. You can go for consistent damage build or burst build which is quite good but hard to play because you need to position yourself in different areas of the boss and have to time the skill correctly: good damage but nothing over the top.
The C tier
Sharpshooter
Have two main burst skills that can hit the enemy from a very long distance, but they take a long time to charge and missing one of these will make you weak. Nice failure skill for damage but a squishy class overall. Quite good damage output but not as good as other classes.
Deadeye
The downgraded version of the gunslinger. He is a squishy class that needs to battle next to the boss. He uses shotguns as the main damage output and a mid-close range class. This is a hard class to master, and those who like playing hard mode will play this class.
