Introduction

When it happens that you are undecided about what tank hero to use in your next game in Mobile Legends (regardless you’re a beginner or veteran) don’t stress yourself, go for Minotaur.

Definitively Minotaur is one of the best tanks in all the game; he is not only easy to use, but he is also very resistant and powerful enough to even tremble the entire enemy team on his own!

Minotaur has many capabilities that can turn the course of the battle when used properly. With his healing ability and great durability, he can be like a wall between the enemy team and your allies, protecting them in the most critical moments.

Minotaur can also act like an Initiator due to his strong crowd control skills, which makes him even more valuable during team fights.

In order to get the most from this great tank, study this guide carefully, and follow our ultimate advice.

Skills

Rage Mode (Passive)

Each time Minotaur uses a basic attack, skill, or receive some damage, he recovers “Rage of Minotaur”; when the Rage Bar reaches the maximum, he will enter into Rage State.

In this state, Minotaur gains extra Physical Attack, Physical and Magical Defense, and other extra effects. When this especial state fades, he can continue recovering Rage and use Minoan Fury briefly.

Despair Stomp (Active)

Minotaur jumps towards the desire location, dealing 280 points Physical Damage to enemies within range upon landing. This movement last 2 secs and also slows down the enemies by 65%.

In Rage State, the jump becomes larger and deals with an extra Physical Attack equivalent to 1.5% of the target’s Max HP. It has a cooldown of 7.2s.

Motivation Roar (Active)

Minotaur emits a roar, motivating himself and surrounding allies. This roar regenerates 260 points HP and an extra healing effect based on the amount of damage he has taken. Within the next 2 secs, Minotaur recovers Rage if he receives basic attacks.

In Rage State, Minotaur obtains the Rage Regen effect for 2 secs and recovers some HP when it receives basic attacks. It has a cooldown of 10.8s.

Minoan Fury (Ultimate)

Minotaur enters a state when he recovers Rage continuously. The more the skill is charged, the more Rage he’ll recover.

In Rage State, Minotaur hits the ground three times and sends shockwaves that deal 180 points Physical Damage to enemies within the area, stunning and slowing them by 70%. The last shockwave deals 200 points of True Damage. It has a cooldown of the 18s.

Emblem Set

The perfect Set for Minotaur is Custom Tank. This will increase the overall durability by increasing Physical and Magical Defense stats. It also grants HP and HP Regeneration and some Cooldown Reduction.

With this Emblem Set, your team’s damage dealers can go for the enemy while Minotaur absorbs the damage, so protecting your allies.

Spells

The following are the most recommended Spells for Minotaur:

Revitalize

A Healing Spring effect is applied for 5 secs around the hero and surrounding allies, recovering 2.8% of Max HP every 0.5s and enhancing the Shield and HP Regen they receive by 40%.

Perfect for Minotaur due to his Tank/Support role.

Petrify

Deals 115/325 (depends on level) of Magical Damage to enemies within range and petrify them for 0.7s.

This is also a great Spell for Supporters like Minotaur, and it’s especially useful against heroes like Marksmen and Assassins to protect your allies from them.

Tips For Using Minotaur

Try to be always alert about your Rage meter because that’s the key to be successful when playing with Minotaur. If you’re thinking about engaging in a fight, be sure you have enough level of Rage to use at the right time.

The best moment to use your Ultimate is during team fights, but check out you are being accompanied by a Marksman or Assassin to get the maximum benefit from the crowd control this skill can bring if you can use your Ultimate while in Rage State, much better.

Spam your skills as much as you can, remember that Minotaur is not a Mana dependent hero. When you are accompanying your team, try to use Motivation Roar constantly to recover HP for your allies. Always think about protecting them, that’s your role!
