Introduction
Miya is probably the best marksmen in the game, as well as the cheapest (next to Layla, which is free). This is why understanding her passive, skills, and best builds can bring along a lot of benefits for you. Indeed, with some practice and specific tricks, Miya can play a great role in winning team fights and help you rank a lot faster.
Miya Basics
First let’s go ahead and see her passive followed by her skills.
Passive: Turbo
Passive: Turbo – each time you hit an enemy using her basic attacks, it adds a stack for her passive, which is turbo. And each stack of turbo increases her attack speed for some period of time, which can stack up to 8 times. Each stack increases her attack speed by 5%, hence for 8 stacks, she will get 40% attack speed. In other words, the more she attacks, the faster she becomes.
Skill 1: Fission Shot
Skill 1: Fission Shot – each of her basic attacks will split into two arrows, which can hit multiple targets at once. The main target will receive 10 points of damage while the other two will get 30% basic damage. This lasts 4 seconds. It’s recommended to only use this skill in laning, to clear the wave or take down a tower faster. During team fights, make sure to position yourself strategically to hit three enemies with this skill.
Skill 2: Rain of Arrows
Skill 2: Rain of Arrows – here, Miya fires a rain of arrows in a desired area which hits the enemies 5 times, while also slowing them down. On the 4th hit, the enemy will get frozen for 1 sec. It deals 50 damages for each hit. This skill is pretty good to take advantage over an enemy. During the early game, use this to make the enemy’s hero lose their position because you know that in over 4 hits they will be frozen and will also lose precious time moving away while you attack them. In team fights make sure to use Rain of Arrows where most of the enemy heroes are being hit to either slow them down or freeze them.
Ultimate: Turbo Stealth
Ulti: Turbo Stealth – here Miya becomes invisible and removes all kinds of slow-down effects. Her Ulti also increases her attack speed and movement speed for a certain period of time. It removes all movement impairing effects and raises your attack speed up to 35% for 6 seconds and the movement speed for you and your nearby allies up to 45% for 2.5 seconds. This skill is what makes Miya the best marksmen because thanks to it you won’t need to get Fury or Purify since it will increase both attack speed and movement speed. Use this skill while escaping to get a good position in team fights.
Speciality: Reap – Miya is a fragile hero who can be killer very easily. But she is also one of the most offensive heroes in the game. She is considered to be a Reap type because thanks to her Ulti she can easily chase and kill enemies that are escaping with low hp.

Farming Guide
Miya is a late game hero, which means she needs to farm first. She isn’t a very efficient jungler in the early game, so when playing her it’s better to stay in lane and help teammates clear the jungle from time to time. Once you get around 2 attack items, you can go to other lanes or farm alone. While attacking jungle creeps, make sure you use Skill 2 so that they will be frozen for 1 sec. Take down turrets at every possible chance because it gives your team gold and advantage.
During team fights, make sure your team is busy distracting the enemies during the clash so you can take farm undisturbed. Keep your team behind, this is crucial and necessary because Miya’s durability is weak. If you get hooked or stunned use your 3rd skill to run away and get a new position as quickly as possible before you start hitting again. Finally, tell your team not to waste Ulti on the enemy tank. Instead, wait for the enemy to flood the Ulti to your teams tank and then start shooting.
When playing Miya, try to go in mid lane as often as possible, because there you’ll find early minions which help you gain exp quickly. After you have cleared the first wave, move to the jungle and kill a monster. Then go back, kill the second wave and proceed to go to the other side of the jungle to kill another monster. This way you’ll earn more experience and the higher the level you reach, the bigger the damage you cause to your enemies later on. Finally, be sure to get the turtle after you get the first item or the first two items.
