Hayabusa Mobile Legends Guide

hayabusa mobile legends build guide

Introduction

Definitively Hayabusa can be one of the most powerful heroes in Mobile Legends when you play him the right way.

The main drawbacks to play Hayabusa are 1, he is challenging to master, and 2, he is very level dependant — too weak on early game.

On the other hand, once Hayabusa has reached the appropriate level, he’s a powerful and very hard to kill hero on late game. He can also be one of the best split-pushers and pokers in the game.

What’s important to take advantage of the potential of this hero is to practice very much the proper use of his abilities, especially his Quad Shadow.

Skills

Ninjutsu – Shadow Heal (Passive)

Hayabusa obtains one Shadow Stack each time he uses a skill. Each Stack will increase the overall damage for his other skills by 5%.

Phantom Shuriken (Active)

Hayabusa throws three Shurikens towards an enemy in front of him. Each Shuriken deals 170 points of Physical Damage, slows Movement Speed by 60%, and recovers 10 points of Energy. If all the Shurikens hit the enemy at the same time, Hayabusa gains 20% of Health Points.

Quad Shadow (Active)

Releases four shadows in different directions. If a shadow hits an enemy, it’ll seep into him, dealing 130 points of Physical Damage and slowing down his Movement Speed by 40%. The shadow will also follow the enemy during a few secs.

Hayabusa can teleport to the location of any of the shadows, and if this shadow hits an enemy, he’ll deal with an extra Physical Damage of 130 points and reduce the Movement Speed by 40%. This skill will also reduce the Cooldown of Phantom Shuriken by 1 sec.

Ougi – Shadow Kill (Ultimate)

Deals 160 points of Physical Damage to enemies within range. Hayabusa becomes a shadow and runs around a determined area hitting five times the enemies on it. This ability works better when used against a single opponent.

Emblem Set

Hayabusa is very level-dependent, and as happens with other similar heroes, the best Emblem Set that works for him is Assassin.

The Assassin Emblem Set gives more points for Physical Penetration, Physical Attack and also increases the Movement Speed.

As you need to spend much time on Jungle, remember using Tier 3’s Bounty Hunter to obtain a 100 extra-gold benefit.

Spells

Retribution

This is the most crucial spell for Hayabusa since he is a very level dependant hero and needs to be on constant farming. This item will help him farm faster than enemies since it increases the damage dealt with jungle monsters and minions.

It’s essential to carry jungle equipment when using this spell because it will grant an additional 40% Damage Reduction from jungle monsters.

Purify

Handy defensive spell to escape from sticky situations. Purify removes all adverse effects from heroes, including controlling effects. It also provides an increase in Movement Speed of 30%.

Use it wisely, especially if you’re going to face multiple enemies with Crowd Control abilities.

Revitalize

Additionally, to the mentioned spells, you can use Revitalize to gain an extra healing effect. This is especially helpful in an early game when Hayabusa is most vulnerable to damage. Use it wisely since it has a long Cooldown of 100 secs.

Build

Bloodlust Axe

+70 Physical Attack, +10 Cooldown, +20% Life Steal

This item is a must when playing Hayabusa. The Cooldown effect allows him to use his ultimate skill more frequently, and the Vamp Spell grants him more endurance.

This item can be replaced with “Magic Blade,” which adds +24 Magic Resistance when the hero HP is below 30%.

Magic Shoes

+10 Cooldown Reduction, +40 Movement Speed

Adds more Cooldown Reduction points, what’s excellent for Hayabusa to use his ultimate more frequently.

The replacement for this is “Warrior Boots,” which adds extra points for defense.

Endless Battle

+65 Physical Attack, +25 Magic Power, +250 Health Points, +300 Mana, +5 Mov Spd and +15 Life Steal

Another essential item for Haya. Increases Physical Attack by 70% after using skills, and adds more healing. This is good while you’re on Jungle.

You can replace this item for “Hunter Strike” if you want to have more Burst Damage. Ideal for Physical Penetration Builds.

Blade of Despair

+170 Physical Damage, +10 Attack Speed

Another critical item you will always see on builds for Hayabusa. Gives an extra damage boost of 10% when enemies are under some control effect (stunned, disable, etc.)

Some times this item is replaced with “Rose Gold Meteor,” which adds +30 Magic Resistance and +5 Life Steal — useful to increase defensive stats.

Malefic Roar

+60 Physical Attack, +40% Armor Penetration

The indispensable item on a late-game if you want to deal with any damage to tanks. It’ll also ignore +20% of enemy turret’s shields.

Immortality

+800 HP, +40 Magic Resistance

Another handy item for defense, and very convenient for Haya on late-game considering his stats. Revive the hero two secs after dying, giving 15% HP and a protective shield with 300/1,000 points of Damage Resistance.

How To Play Hayabusa Like a Pro

The first thing you need to remember: Hayabusa is a hero pretty hard to master, so you will need to practice a lot to play him without being killed over and over again on the battlefield.

Quad Shadow is the Key

The most important skill you need to learn to use correctly is Quad Shadow. This, when properly combined with the other skills, is what can make Hayabusa a terrible headache for the enemy team.

Think of Quad Shadow as the starting point for your tactics while playing with Hayabusa. This is a skill you can use both on attack and defense.

Remember, you must avoid facing team fights directly — Hayabusa is a Ninja, so think as a Ninja. Instead of that, try to select a single target, release your Quad Shadow (try at least one hits the target) and use your ultimate. Then you can escape using any of the remaining shadows.

Apply this technique while your team is fighting, ganking, and disappearing over and over. You’ll be impossible to catch this way.

Remember to always focus your attack on the most dangerous heroes from the enemy team, like Marksmen, Assassins, and Mages.

And as final advice, always stay on Jungle farming as much as you can, but help your teammates whenever possible (try to use your Shurikens regularly for this) and try to take the minimum potential damage.

With these tips, you can get a lot from this powerful hero and become a pro Assassin faster on your favorite game, Mobile Legends.
