Cecilion Build Guide Mobile Legends

cecilion mobile legends build guide

Introduction

Cecilion is a new hero in Mobile Legends (he was released this year in February), and he’s the boyfriend of another relatively new hero, Carmilla!

These heroes are both Vampires, so it couldn’t be hard to guess they had some relationship.

Cecilion is a Mage specialized in poking enemies, and bursting damage. He doesn’t have high mobility but can attack enemies from a distance, and he is also pretty easy to use. Due to her harassing nature, this hero also has excellent crowd control abilities.

What’s interesting about this hero is an unusual move he can use in collaboration with Carmilla, but we’re going to speak about it later.

Due to his passive, Cecilion can be influential in the late game. Let’s see why.

Cecilion Skills

Overflowing (Passive)

Each time Cecilion uses skill and hits a target, his Max Mana will increase by 10 Pts. Cecilion has a high Mana pool and high Mana Regen speed, and the damage from his skills will scale with his Max Mana.

Bat Impact (Active)

Cecilion cast a giant bat towards an enemy, dealing 110/260 (depends on level) of Magic Damage. The giant bat will explode after one sec, dealing 220/520 Magic Damage and activating Overflowing. Then, Cecilion increases his Movement Speed by 30% for 1s.

Every 6 secs after using this skill, the Mana cost increases by 1.8x.

Sanguine Claws (Active)

A pair of claws surge out from the ground in a designated location and start running to each other. This movement slows down the enemies on their path, pulling to the center and immobilizing them 1s and dealing 200/300 Pts of Magical Damage.

Beast Feast (Ultimate)

Cecilion uses Blood Demon Power to increase his Movement Speed by 60% and gain immunity to slowing effects. Meanwhile, he shoots 40 bolts of energy at the enemies around him, dealing 30 Pts Magic Damage for each bolt and slowing them by 3%/30%.

This ability also heals Cecilion by 10/15 Pts if the skill hits an enemy and gives around five stacks of Overflowing.

Moonlit Waltz (Special Skill)

If Carmilla is nearby, Cecilion can call her to deep inside him as a Vermil Shadow. This movement provides a 440/1000 Pts shield. Then, Carmilla can select a target location and go there, obtaining a similar shield, but also dealing Magic Damage equivalent to 440/1000 Pts to enemies within the area of effect, and slowing them by 60%.

Build For Cecilion

This would be the recommended build for Cecilion, and it has everything he could need, including Damage, Mana, and Mana Regen.

Holy Crystal

Oracle

Effect: +850 Pts HP, +36 Magic Res, +35 HP Regen, +10 Cooldown Reduction.

Unique Passive: The item will regenerate 8% HP within 4s after being attacked.

Alternatively, you can use “Ice Queen Wand” instead of “Concentrated Energy” to add a more slowing effect to Cecilion’s skills.

If the enemy is too tanky, buy “Devil Tears” instead of “Holy Crystal” to add more Magical Penetration.

Cecilion Emblem

Use Custom Mage Emblem for Cecilion. Movement Speed and Magic Penetration are the key talents where you need to spend more points.

The Impure Rage talent helps it regenerating Mana each time Cecilion’s skills hit an enemy.

Make wise use of Tier 3’s talent Golden Touch if you want some help to buy items faster.

The alternative Emblem Set would be the Common Magical Set. This emblem set focuses on Magical Damage and spell casting attributes. Spend Talent Points on Mana and Magic Penetration.

Cecilion Spells

Flameshot

The most recommended spell for Cecilion. You can use it to gain easy kills on early games and help Cecilion escape from dangerous situations due to its slowing effect on enemies.

Flicker

Another pretty useful spell to escape from danger. This spell can give additional mobility to re-positioning during a fight.

Sprint

This is the alternative spell in case you don’t have Flicker.

Cecilion Tips and Tricks

Combos

A basic and useful skill combination would be Sanguine Claws, Bat Impact, Beast Feast. The first skill will slow down and immobilize the enemies, so you can hit them more comfortable with your second skill. Your Ultimate will be helpful to deal with extra damage or to escape in case you need it.

When you’re solo farming on Jungle, you can use Bat Impact + Sanguine Claws + Bat Impact to kill monsters faster.

Playing your lane

You can go mid lane or side lane, that depends on your team’s composition.

You can use Bat Impact to clear minion waves faster if you use it properly.

You can take the blue buff if there aren’t other buff dependent heroes on your team.

Try to take advantage of your high range of skills so that you can play safer. Remember, you’re a squishy hero, so try always to stick to tanks during team fights.

Try to predict enemy movement before using your Sanguine Claws because enemies can easily escape from them.

Team up with Carmilla

It will help a lot if you could find a friend that plays with Carmilla and use Moonlit Waltz to deal even more damage.

You must wait until mid and late game before using Moonlit Waltz. Try first to build your strength and maintain excellent communication with your partner for this.

During Moonlit Waltz, if Carmilla lands out of Cecilion and gets controlled by an enemy, you can use a skill to deal damage — if you do it right, you can even cancel the enemy’s skill.
