Baxia Build Guide Mobile Legends

Build

Battle Spells

Baxia can deal significant damage to enemies but here you can find some of the suitable battle spells for this character that will help you to deal even more:

  • Execute, it will be used to pick up some easy skills.
  • Petrify, since Baxia lacks CC, it will be a good option for him.
  • Flicker, you can try a Flicker + Skill 1 Combo and tell us how it goes.

Emblem

Tank emblem should be the way to go, it is the best suited emblem for Baxia. You can spend points on HP and CD Reduction. Also, if you unlock Tenacity Talent it will make him more tankier when his HP gets low.

Item Build

When using a Tank you should try to add Roaming Items since they will help your damage dealers a lot earlier in the game. Our recommended build for Baxia will be:

I. Courage Mask

II. Tough Boots

III. Clock of Destiny

IV. Cursed Helmet

V. Immortality

VI. Brute Force Breastplate

The Clock of Destiny will help you with its HP, Mana and Magic Power.

You can also try this build but without the Roaming Item (Courage Mask) and instead add another Defense Item such as Dominance Ice, it will look like this:

I. Tough Boots

II. Clock of Destiny

III. Cursed Helmet

IV. Immortality

V. Brute Force Breastplate

VI. Dominance Ice

Or try removing the Clock of Destiny and add Athena’s Shield for more Magic resistance:

I. Tough Boots

II. Athena’s Shield

III. Cursed Helmet

IV. Immortality

V. Brute Force Breastplate

VI. Dominance Ice

This can be better used when your enemy has high magic damage.

Strong Against

You should use Baxia when facing Healers and Lifestealers; his passive is also good against multiple hit damage dealers. It has been proven to be effective when facing Alucard, Kimmy and Estes.

Weak Against

You won’t be too lucky if you are facing Aurora, Clint or Lancelot.

Skills

Passive: Baxia Mark

It will be activated permanently, reducing the final damage received by 28 – 56 (this damage reduction increases with the level). At the same time, when Baxia’s skills hit an enemy it reduces their regen effect by 30% for 4 seconds.

Skill 1: Shield Unity

  • Mana Cost: 100.
  • CD: 14.0

This skill will turn Baxia into a wheel-like form and greatly increases his speed. When directly hitting an enemy, he will cancel this form and will deal 280 Magic Damage (+55% total Magic Power) to that unit and nearby enemies, stunning the collided unit for 0.5 seconds and knocking other nearby enemies back. You can tap this skill again to jump, it will have 3 seconds cool down period.

By using these jumps he can go over obstacles and enemy minions or jungle monsters. When jumping over an enemy, he will strike it and deal 380 Magic Damage (+75% total Magic Power) to the hero and nearby enemies, stunning the hit target for 1 second, and slightly knocking other nearby enemy targets back. Cooldown time will reduce when your level increases and in the other hand Skill cost, Basic Damage and Impact Damage will increase as your level does.

Skill 2: Shield of Spirit

  • Mana Cost: 30.
  • CD: 9.0

When using this skill, Baxia throws his shield forward, dealing Magic Damage to the target and enemy minions, which is equal to 125 (+80% total Magic Power) + 5% of their Max HP and marks them for 5 seconds, slowing them by 50% for 1 second. This skill can be used again in a short time. When you hit again a marked enemy, the CD will be reduced by 85%. You can spam this skill as long as you are hitting the marked enemy. If you miss or hit a different target, it will cancel the CD reduction effect. This reduction effect will work in jungle monsters but not on minions. Cooldown time will reduce when your level increases, but Skill Cost and Basic Damage will increase as your level does.

Skill 3: Tortoise’s Puissance

  • Mana Cost: 150.
  • CD: 30.0

With this skill Baxia deploys a frontal shield and dashes forward crazily, this increases his Movement Speed by 30% for 10 seconds, at the same time, creates a lava path along the way, dealing 60 Magic Damage (+50% total Magic Power) to enemies on such path each 0.5 seconds. During dashing forward, his passive (Baxia Mark) damage reduction effect will be boosted by 75%. He can combine this Ultimate with Skill 1. Basic damage won’t change even if you increase your level, Cooldown time will reduce as your level increases and Continuous Damage will increase when your level does too.

Tips and Tricks

* As soon as you begin, go ahead and by Wooden Mask (Roaming Item) and help your midlaner.

* At level 1 you can unlock your skill 2 (Shield of Spirit) and you can use it to harass enemies while clearing lane minions.

* Always try to hit the marked enemy while using Shield of Spirit, else the CD reduction will reset.

* While helping on top buff, use Shield of Spirit on big monster. It deals more damage on this type of monsters (Big Monsters).

* Once you reach level 2, roam with midlaner and try to gank other lanes.

* When you are on a Shield Unity (skill 1) state, tap the skill again when you are about to hit an enemy. Jumping will increase damage and the stun duration by 0.5 seconds.

* If your destination is far, you can spam jump to get there faster. Use it while heading to lane from base.

* Shield Unity is good at tower diving, but it is not immune to CC effects. That’s why you should be careful while doing so to CC Heroes.

* Baxia should have enough damage to do on 1 vs 1, but make sure you use your Shield of Spirit.

* While using Ultimate try going ahead of your enemy to deal more continuous damage.

And well… that’s it for The Black Tortoise. We hope you found this post useful and keep coming as we’ll have more interesting guides like this. Have a good one!
