What is Family Inventory?
You can use the family inventory to store consumable items, these items are shared between all your characters. The items can be:
- Scrolls
- Food
- Elixirs
- Pet feed
- Worker Stamina Recovery food
- Items bound to characters
- Items purchased from the guild shop
- Content-specific items
- Event items
This inventory is accessible from all of the player’s characters; the player can access this inventory by finding it on the inventory tabs and selecting move items, which allows you to move items from the standard inventory to your family one. The family inventory enables you to grind any character and add essential items, especially workers or pet foods which are more necessary and scrolls.
The family inventory has 100 weight capacity, allowing the player to buy more with loyalties and on the pearl shop if you want to spend cash. The weight capacity is upgradable since the new updates came out.
You can even buy Family inventory +4 coupons for 180 pearls allowing you to expand to 24 slots; this expansion can also be purchased at the loyalty market, which costs 1500 loyalties.
The family inventory is a permanent expansion allowing you to store and use consumable items for any character of your choice.
The family inventory system is one of the patches that recently came out for Black Desert Online.
BDO Family Inventory Quest
To trigger the family system, your character needs to talk to the black spirit after reaching level 60, selecting Shakatu’s gift invitation under the main quests tab.
Selecting this quest will teleport the player to where the boss Shakatu lives. Talk to Shakatu to bring up the second portion of the quest.
Villa Keeper
Within the second portion of the quest, the player needs to talk to the Villa keeper Dumaham. Dumaham asks the player to buy Shakatu’s Villa Invitation, which is 10 million silver.
The family inventory quest is set out into various objectives that the player needs to accomplish; these are the nine treasure piece objective and 100 pickled vegetables.
Treasure Pieces Locations
After purchasing Shakatu’s Villa invitation go into the villa. The player is then set out to find all of the treasure pieces that can be located in the:
Main Room:
- Cat Statue
- A vase that’s located on the left near the cat statue
Next Room on the left:
- Fruit Bowl
- Armoire
- Couch
Downstairs:
- armour suit
- Narcion flower decoration on top of the bed
Downstairs Dining room:
- Painting near the tables
Upstairs Dining room:
- Plant near the stairs
After acquiring all of the 9 pieces, the player now needs to go into their inventory and select the auto button to arrange the pieces in the shape of an elephant. After the pieces are placed, click the plus sign, and the parts should be set correctly.
To finish this quest, you need to report back to the Villa Keeper.
100 Pickled Vegetables
After completing the 9 pieces objective, the player has to look for the elephant. The elephant is located on a platform; to get there, the player has to complete a jumping puzzle.
Give the elephant 100 pickled vegetables. You can either craft them yourself or buy them from the central marketplace. Here’s the recipe for pickled vegetables:
- 8 Vegetables
- 4 Vinegar
- 2 Leavening Agent
- 2 Sugar
The cooking can be done on the player’s residence using a cooking utensil. After crafting or purchasing 100 pickled vegetables, you can go to reach the elephant again, offering it to finish the quest.
Bag Of The Stars
The player needs to talk to Baby Elephant Rahna again to receive the last quest called Bag Of The Stars. The bag of stars objective is to hand the elephants drawing to Shakatu; to do this, you have to go to his location and offer the hand drawing.
The quest offers the player the family inventory plus 2 expansion coupons.
