Shakatu Quest
This quest is located in the northernmost part of the Valencia region. Before heading to Shakatu, you first need to procure a few items. First, locate a storage keeper and get 3 Gold Bar 100g(30 million) and 10 million silver.
Second, locate the material vendor and purchase 20 empty bottles. Click on “Find NPC” if you can not locate the material vendor, and it will be pointed on the map.
Dumaham
Once you have all the items gathered, you may then proceed to Shakatu’s Villa. Upon entering the gates, locate the NPC Dumaham and talk to him to see the “Villa” option.
Shakatu’s Villa Invitation
Purchase the “Shakatu’s Villa Invitation (7 Days)” for 10 million silver to access the villa. Upon entering the villa, locate the NPC Serazad and talk to him to see the “Quest” option.
(Villa) Especially Adorable Elephant
Click on “(Villa) Especially Adorable Elephant.” The quest will then be filled, and from there, go to Shakatu himself in his location, which is a bit far from the villa.
Once you meet him, pay Shakatu the 3 Gold Bar 100g that you brought from the storagekeeper to move on in the quest.
Then go back to Shakatu’s Villa and talk to NPC Serazad.
Serazad – (Villa) Freshly Scooped Cool Water
Talk to Serazad and click on the “(Villa) Freshly Scooped Cool Water” option. Then go out of the villa and find the water fountain to fill those 20 empty bottles that you purchased from the material vendor.
Once that’s done, proceed to the front of the villa and find the caged elephant. Click on the chat option and select to water the elephant to complete the quest.
Serazad – 100 Freshly Prepared Fodder
Return to NPC Serazad to begin the second quest. He will ask you to collect “100 Freshly Prepared Fodder” for the elephant.
You need to gather 100 weeds to complete the quest. The easiest way to get it is to head up to Shakatu Farmland and harvest from the plentiful Nutmeg Trees until you reach 100 weeds(do not use hoe since we want weeds).
Then go back to the front of the villa and feed it to the caged elephant. To complete the quest, return to NPC Serazad for her to give the next quest.
(Villa) Owner of a Special Elephant
(Villa) The owner of a Special Elephant is the last part of the quest.
Serazad will ask you to meet the stable keeper of Shakatu’s Territory. Once you meet the stable keeper Batima, he will then grant you a voucher authorized by the Shakatu League and Old Moon Guild.
You can get your elephant right then and there, but the Registration for Miniature Elephant can be claimed anywhere in Black Dessert, not just in Shakatu. Simply go to stable and then register mount.
Mini Elephant
Miniature elephants are slow at a low level, but it has a high weight limit of 830LT, increasing to 1200LT once it reaches Level 15.
It also has 16 inventory slots which makes it a better option than the horse or camel. To achieve the best speed, use Joyride (Instant Acceleration) or Quick Run Skills with your miniature elephant.
The turning radius is one of the challenges in this mount. For wider turns, try to use the Quick Turn skill, and that should compensate. Elephants are fascinating creatures to have in this game, and with the right skills, it will prove useful in increasing your trading time.
