How To Get a Horse
Purchasing From The Stable Keeper
To get a horse, you may purchase it from the stable keeper. Talk to the stable keeper, click on horse market on the bottom corner, filter by tier, skill, or gender, and choose the horse that you like.
You may also press the M key in the keyboard, and then you will see in the bottom right corner the horse market where you can view the horses that are available to purchase.
However, you cannot buy a horse from this menu. You have to go to a stable keeper to buy a horse.
Catching a Wild Horse
When catching a horse, you need two items: A lump of raw sugar that is readily available in the central marketplace, or you can make it from raw sugar that is available from any cooking NPC in the game and mix it with mineral water that you also purchase from a cooking NPC.
You process 10x raw sugar with 1x mineral water in heating, and then you will get lumps of raw sugar. You also need a capturing rope that you can purchase from any stable keeper. Then you have to find horses to catch.
Here is a map to help you find wild horses
When you have arrived in a spot with wild horses, take the rope and lumps of raw sugar and add it to your hotbar. The lumps of raw sugar then choose which horse you like to catch in the area and then sneak in behind the horse, press the rope and throw, walk towards the horse and play a mini-game to catch it and then feed it the lumps of raw sugar when you are near the horse, and then the horse will be tamed.
However, this depends on how many lumps of raw sugar you fed the horse. It might still fail. Then you mount the horse, and then you go back to the stable keeper and talk to the stable keeper and register your horse.
Gear For Imperial Horse Trading/Training
When it comes to gear, there are only generic accessories that you need to use. The accessories have a different set of tiers. You can pick up life skill accessories such as Loggia or Manos to give you bonus mastery. The life skill clothing can also provide you with mastery.
There are different clothes to choose from, which can give you mastery and an EXP bonus. The riding crop is a critical item that you would want to have, even if you will not get into horse training. The riding crop gives you increased mastery.
Mastery gives you an increased chance to level up and increased movement speed. The riding crop also increases the maximum speed that your horse travels at and your maximum autorun speed. If your autorun faster, you will travel further and gain more EXP. This is crucial if you plan on leveling up a single horse because it does not apply to multi-horse leveling.
AFK Horse Training
The location that is best for AFK leveling horses is in Duvencrune. The reason is outside Duvencrune, T4/T5 wild horses are commonly found. Also, your horse can’t be killed here since its in a town. When AFK leveling a single horse, you take out a horse, line up the horse so that you are on the road, open the map, click on a location like in the stable keeper, click on set autoloop path, check the first box, escape the map and press T.
This way you are already AFK leveling your horse. You may speed this up to buy purchasing items that make your horse run faster like horseshoe equipment slot on the horse to give it more movement speed. Level the horse up until level 15 for imperial trading.
Training Multiple Horses
When doing this, you need a wagon. I recommend the Merchant Wagon. To buy a wagon, go to the central market place and type in wagon.
Four horse wagons are merchant wagons or noble wagons, so depending on how much money you want to spend, you can get one based on your preference.
After you have your wagon, you register it, click on it, and connect the wagon. Then you select the horses to use the wagon and then hop to the wagon, line it up to the road, and do the thing with the map again to start AFK leveling up to a specific location. Do this until the horses hit level 15.
Imperial Trading
When your horse has hit level 15, you may now sell it to the imperial trader. To do that, click on the horse, disconnect it from the wagon, click on the horse again, and may sell the horse now by pressing “Imperial Horse Delivery”.
The seals are what is valuable here. Use 12 of the seals to trade in for Black Essence: Viper, which can be used for creating Black Magic Crystal – Viper, which sells for 33 mil silver each on the marketplace. If you AFK horse train each night, that would net you somewhere around 30-40 mil a night just from these seals. Pretty good for just AFKing!
If the horse has a gold icon, it’s a courser, which can be sold for a bigger value in the marketplace than to an imperial trader.
To sell the horse on the market, click on it and click register at the market and it will show the market price.
