The marketplace director is the same old one as always, now you can hit Central Market and you get this interface. You can see the warehouse balance and capacity. This warehouse is basically a new feature, now you have shared storage in all of your cities.
Press manage warehouse in order to move over silver or items from your storage to the central marketplace. The previous silver storage would be in your Warehouse here this is your City storage and from here you can deposit silver towards your shared City storage or withdraw back.
This balance is always available to move in manager purchases even on the go and from any City you can simply hit Escape and you can see Central Market from here. I can purchase or sell items at will with anything that is available in the warehouse.

VT in Central Marketplace
So you may see I have 4782.9 vt taken up, this is the number of items you can store in the central warehouse, capped at 5k. And you may have already noticed I have some Pila Fe scrolls, ancient relic shards and keys already in my storage here. You can now actually stack up multiples of the same item, which makes it great new storage. The basis of it is you can take an item from your city storage warehouse, and you can move them into the warehouse, each item has its own in VT storage capacity. Which will be shown if you hover over the item, most items have one VT; gear has 50 VT, raw materials have 0.1 VT and accessories have 20 VT.
Wagons are no longer needed for storage
For all of you like me who would utilize a bunch of wagons to store say magic lumbering axe, ancient Relic Crystal Shards until you wanted to run more of them at once or wanted to gather in large amounts all these into the warehouse as you can see here they’ll stack up. You could literally store five thousand people pila fe scrolls before you ever had to run a scroll.
Purchasing Items
If you want to move on anything in the warehouse can be sold on the go additionally anything that you’d like to purchase can you purchase on the go with the funds you have in your Warehouse. So if we hit purchase you’ll be given a similar interface to the old market place where you can search for an item and specify what you’d like.
You can use the search bar to specify the item you want or by just using the category of that item.
Let’s say I wanted to order a Tungrad belt at a lowball offer. I can go into the Tungrad belt, scroll down and press on the lowest price, before finally hitting buy. Since we can see that no belt it up in the marketplace at that price, an order will be made at that price(just like the old pre-order system), which will be filled once someone sells that item at that price or lower.
Enhancement Values
You can see after you click on it you can actually get all the different enhancement values will it say I wanted to purchase a pen ogre I could click here and you’ll see all the orders that are already and you can try and low ball order down here or put a higher order in up here and you can also see how many other people have set in order for this amount.
If we check on this the spotted valencian cat, we can see that 32 people are already trying to purchase this for this price. Now that doesn’t mean that I’ll be number 33 to get it, how this work according to the patch notes the early you put the order in the higher your chances of actually winning the buy order. Whenever one of them gets listed and having the item be sold to you so I could put this order in the number 33 and actually be the first one to get it if I had extremely good luck. Or maybe I could be the first one to put the order in but two other people get it before me. The exact odds of all this have not been released by Pearl Abyss so we’re left to speculate unfortunately.
Buy Order
Let me look at the iron ordering you can see how much is registered if I wanted to make a quick purchase I could click on iron ore through the base price and I can see that five thousand of them are listed only 400 silver each, so I wanted to buy five of them at this price I could put this by order in hit yes to purchase the order and it says I’ve purchased it.
Next go to manage warehouse and you can see I have my five iron ore and the warehouse from here I can move it into my inventory or warehouse to depending on which tab i have open.
If I wanted to sell something I could go to my warehouse and I could select let’s say omelettes let me take out two omelettes and they’re going to be put into my little Marketplace Warehouse here.
What are you going to do now I can go to sell I could click on The Omelette and you’re going to see how many are currently listed.
30 are listed here at this price that could try and cut down over here and I could try and sell one and all of these would immediately sell because there’s already a buy order in or I could sell it at any other individual price here even all the way at the top and wait for it to sell as far as I’ve seen you can tell up to a thousand or ten thousand of an item at once with his register quantity button based on the item.
Item Limits
Also as far as I can tell there’s actually no limit to how many items you can have registered at once while you’re trying to sell them and there is no time limit I like the old market place where you could only wish one item at a time you have to wait for them all the sell if I wanted to sell these Max price and I could sell all 22 of them with one click.
Sell Order
If they didn’t sell it would have added a sell order here. Going back to my warehouse to grab another one I’d like to show you what a sell order looks like so here I’m adding in the Forest Fury. I already had my inventory now I go to sell and you can see here I actually already had one listed now to sell this forest fury I’m going to have to cancel my previous registration and set it at a different price. Since Forest Fury rarely sells, it doesn’t matter what as much what price I choose.
There’s no time expiration as a quick notes as of right now I don’t see any limit to buy orders that you can have in I have a bunch of different buy orders are sell orders at the same time, no problem unlike before.
Pearl Items and canceling orders
You have to be aware that you can only have one outstanding buy order in for any Pearl item at any given time. For instance currently, I have a buy order in on a Blessing of Kamasylve, like 80 something other people do it as well. If I try to order a value pack at the same time, while I still have the Blessing of Kamasylve order in, it will try to match that order. If no request is in it will say pre-order failed, this is because you can only have one order in the pearl shop going at any given time, so you’ll have to cancel that order before placing a new one by going to manage warehouse->status->cancel. If you are patient your pearl shop purchase should eventually come through, unlike the old system where you could bid on hundreds of items and not get a single one.
This new system is much better in that way that you don’t have to sit and try to snipe items and compete with bots like you used to. I waited around three days before my order for Blessing of Kamasylve came through. I was going to use it to get bonus rewards in the Shadow Arena, but unfortunately, they shut it down.
Base Price
As a quick note yes you are going to have to run to all of your storage is in different cities and deposit the silver into the warehouse the warehouse will not be filled with silver from the get-go.
The design of the system is that as more high percent by orders go in like these orders up here that is above the base price as these orders got fulfilled the items based prices supposed to go up marginally with these purchases. Likewise, if the orders all the down here were being fulfilled and the item were being sold at a much lower price the base price of the item would be going down the ranges are always plus or minus up to 10% of the base price of the item. The max and min prices of the base price are still capped at some point other we don’t know precisely where that cap is at I can only tell you what Pearl Abyss has told us.
Central Market Maids
The storage maid cannot access the Central Marketplaces warehouse and are still functioning as they were before. As far as Marketplace maids go well this is a little tricky, but actually this inventory isn’t what you use it’s this one over to the left here, but now that I figured out what inventory to use Marketplace made transport items from your inventory into the Central Marketplaces warehouse.
