Introduction

We love our Epic Seven world, and we love even more our favorite heroes that we can engage in all these tremendous epic battles. We present you within the following lines with complete information about one of the characters that you can use in your game, Krau.

Krau Overview

So let’s discover first who Krau is. He is an Ice Knight with the Horoscope Pisces, and he can be summoned in Covenant Summon. He is one of the Knights of Taranor with a very confident and outgoing attitude.

He tends to silently push ahead what he considers to be just, agh many others are not able to understand his intentions. He is ready to risk all and fight until the end for his homeland. His specialty is to be an Aggressive Protector, and his only need to make this happen is to have his sword and shield.

Krau Skills

Swordstorm

He attacks the enemy with a sword storm having a 50% chance to Provoke for one turn. The damage increases in proportion to caster’s max Health. The multiplier is 0,7.

Charge

He can shove the adversary with a shield and decrease by 35% Combat Readiness, then it increases Defense for two turns to all his allies. The damage increases proportionally to caster’s Health. The cooldown is for four turns. The multiplier is 0,8.

Summon Ziegfried

He will summon the guardian Ziegfried to attack, penetrating Defense. The damage is proportional to yo caster’s Health. It also grants the caster a barrier for two turns. The barrier strength is in proportion to caster’s max Health. This attack will not trigger a critical hit. The cooldown is for six turns. With the Burn effect, he will get an additional turn.

Build

As he is the best tanker in Epic Seven, he would do great with a kit that makes the best use of his bulk. You could take him everywhere like in Raids, Wyvern, PVP, and he will do well all over. When you start building him, it is useful to get a complete understanding of Krau’s benefits and optimum tactics to be used.

By taking a quick look over his Powerchart, in comparison to the average stats data for the other characters. We see this way, the great assets that Krau possesses. When it comes to Attack and Speed, Krau has average stats levels. However, the impressive part comes out if we talk about Utility, Defense, and HP, where his data and levels are way ahead of many other characters in the game.

PvE

For PVE, Krau is mostly used in Wyvern, but this doesn’t mean he will not be useful in Raid and Abyss. Due to his high base Health, you can build him for hull health and tanking.

Due to Krau’s great HP, he will perform wonderfully in Wyvern 11 when investing in Health, Defense, and Speed. He doesn’t need Effectiveness, because Wyvern 11 is immune to Provoke, and doesn’t require Effect Resistance as Wyvern doesn’t determine ailments. Nevertheless, he can inflict big damage with his S3 on the Boss.

As artifacts, he requires Noble Oath that will protect him as he loses HP so that his S3 can become even stronger once he loses HP. So this is a great compensation and combination of effects.

Then another useful artifact is Sword of Ezera that reduces Wyvern’s damage against Krau. You can also try Justice For All that can help keep Krau’s barrier and Defense intact by stacking buff on him when he attacks, thus compensating for the fact that Wyvern dispels buffs.

We also advise you to invest in Prophetic Candlestick that will turn all the hits directed towards Krau, and they will be many, into cooldown decrease.

As Krau only has his Def buff/Barrier for one turn, we recommend you to pair him up with a Healer or even a Ranger with Bloodstone so that he can stay alive.

In Raid/Abyss, he is useful due to his Provoke, reduces Combat Readiness and Def buff for his team, thus protecting everybody. He also has good morale, which comes handy in Raid.

PvP

He is much greater for the PVP, being almost indispensable for the Arena and Guild War in defense teams. With his great base Health, and skills scaling from his HP, he can hit very hard, comparing to other tanks. His team can get a big advantage with investment in increasing his speed, he will use his S2 to reduce 50% of his enemy’s Combat Readiness and apply Def buff for every ally.

His S3 is his greatest asset here, and is incredibly deadly, as it is scaling ultimately from the HP. With his HP low, he has one of the most deadly skills in Epic Seven. When he loses HP, his damage ability increases hugely, and then it will grant him a strong barrier for two turns.

Cons

However strong he might be, he still has some week points. One of them is his low base Speed, only 100. He could be killed before being able to use his S3. To get useful, he needs at least 200 Spd. However, too much speed can also negatively influence his action, as it can make him run out of Def buff quicker.

Also, his Provoke and Reduce Combat prove useless against the Immunity team, and his barrier can be stripped easily.

And the other is that his S3 has a long cooldown and he could be countered easily, thus obliging a risky game.

Conclusions

After all this information, we can draw a clear conclusion that Krau is the ultimate tank in Epic Seven, and he can prove to be a significant threat to everybody else. He ensures defense buff for his team, provokes from S1, has an ignore defense to attack in S3 that will grant a barrier. In the optimum conditions, he could kill almost all the other characters when his Health is low.

Krau becomes more dangerous proportionally to his Health increase, which makes him almost unbeatable in Guild Wars because he can defeat all the other units, other tanks included, if he gets a turn with low Health.
