Specter Tenebria Build Guide

Introduction

If you want to enter the Epic Seven universe or already have done it, you will need first of all to know your characters well to get the best chances of success.

Today we’re going to give an overview of Specter Tenebria. We will go through all her skills, battle tips, and pros and cons of her in this build guide.

Who is Specter Tenebria?

Specter Tenebria is a Dark Mage with the Horoscope Gemini. You can summon her from the Moonlight Summon.

Skills

Here are the three skills for Specter Tenebria.

Poison Blast

It gives her the ability to attack with explosive poison energy. It comes with a 50% chance to inflict the poison for two turns, but up to a maximum of 70%. During this skill, the enemy cannot start a counterattack.

When the Endless Nightmare is on cooldown, it attacks two enemies.

The Soulburn effect gives an extra turn. The S1 can be used three times in a row if Specter Tenebria is paired with two maxed Tagahel. Thus she can bring significant damage to the enemies.

The skill has a 1,2 multiplier.

Nightmare Illusion

This is a passive skill. It involves the fact that the caster will not be attacked as long as it remains an ally capable of being attacked. Take into consideration that this effect can be stacked up to a maximum of 5 times.

This skill will trigger stacking ATK and DEF buffs every time somebody dies; it doesn’t matter if it is an enemy or an ally. The gain is 10% per stack. Thus the total increase of Attack and Defense goes up to a maximum of 50%.

As long as she has around an ally capable of being attacked, Specter Tenebria is untargetable.

This is a strong asset while playing in PVE because her stacks do not reset.

Endless Nightmare

This skill gives Specter Tenebria the power to attack with a nightmare crystal, stunning for one turn. It also decreases by 50% the Combat Readiness of every remaining adversary, when an enemy dies. The Damage that she can inflict increases to the extent of the debuffs number over the enemies.

This S3 is one of the more powerful single-target skills that you’ll find in Epic Seven. There is a 20% upgrade in Damaged inflicted per target debuff.

This skill has a 1,71 multiplier and can be used five times in a row.

Specter Tenebria Powerchart

Let’s see how this character scores at the vital stats, as compared to the characters’ average stats. This way, you will get the perfect understanding of how and when are the best moments to try a game strategy with Specter Tenebria.

The best stat is Defense; here, the character is way ahead of any average data. Then it’s the Attack aspect, where, also, you will find Specter Tenebria in a good advantage, as compared to the others. This already gives you an idea on how to use your character, and that this particular Mage is a big fighter and useful in direct combat against your enemies.

Then there is the Speed parameter, where Specter Tenebria is precisely at the average level character stat, which is not bad at all. However, the downside is in Heal Power, where this character is beyond average. Nevertheless, the Utility parameter is even worse, as Specter Tenebria falls far behind a decent average stat of other characters.

Build

Let’s summarize, the essential pros and cons of Specter Tenebria, so you can enjoy complete ease when building this character.

Pros

S1 has poison, and the enemy cannot counterattack. When S3 is on cooldown, it hits two enemies. The Base Defense is amazingly high, as we said before and will also inflict a high level of damage when debuffs are stacked on the enemy.

If it has allies near, Specter Tenebria cannot be a target of single attacks. With S3, it can stun adversaries. While in S1, you can Soulburn to get an extra turn.

Cons

Despite all the attractive pros, you also have to take a look upon the downside of this character. It has a very low Base Health, and cleansers and anti-debuffs counter it.

Recommendations

Unlike the majority of the other characters, she can prove to be very versatile and useful both in PVP and PVE.

While in PVE, you will have advantages during Raids, because she cannot be targeted by single attacks if accompanied by your allies. She also gets a bonus attack damage that goes up to 50%, if everybody else dies, not just the enemies, but also the allies.

In Raids, this is useful as the bonus will be transferred after each reset if somebody dies during battle while on her S3, every adversary member gets a 50% loss in combat readiness.

She will gain a lot of Attack and Defense power after she reaches the Bosses in Hunt and Raids. You can use her in Abyss if you accompany her by three healers/ supporters (Ruele/Diene/M. Chloe), due to her poison skill.

Whereas in PVP, she will also be very efficient if you accompany her by healers so you can eliminate her vulnerability against AoE attackers. Her attacks are excruciating upon the adversary as long as you land debuffs on any enemy.

She is good at breaking Defense and will inflict even more damage as all the other characters die. Don’t forget about the aspect of Specter Tenebria not being counterattacked while in S1, and that it can hit two enemies when the S3 is in cooldown.

She is a powerful offensive opponent. We recommend you to use her combo with S1 Soulburn, apply poison on the opponent, then get an extra turn, inflict even more damage and stun the enemy with the S3.

Teams

Being a versatile character, you have the opportunity of many different builds depending on your strategy and needs. The best choice for PVE is a one-shot team, Rage/Crit set with Kal’adra. There is no need for SPD; you should focus on ATK, C.Rate, and C.Dmg.

For PVP, it all depends on the team you pair Teneberia with. She can use Speed/Crit, ATK/Crit or Destruction/Crit with C.Dmg necklace, ATK ring, and, respectively, SPD Boots for extra movement speed.

Leveling Up Specter Tenebria

She becomes effective after level 15. For the PVE, we advise you first to max her S3 and S2. For PVP, you have to focus on S3 and then on S1.
