Today, I’m going to bring you a guide on how to simplify your UI in BDO.
General Settings
Simplification
But I’m going to edit the UI on here, and we’re going to simplify down and hopefully, they’ll help you guys to understand what I do. So we’re going to start off and we’re going to go over here, settings, we’re going to go to general and then we’re going to go over here to simplify UI. What is he going to do is the health bar that’s going to be on your screen and stuff will disappear and chat messages and stuff like that will be noticeable.
Alerts and Show/Hide
This is one of the big things that I check off all on top of that, we’re going to go down here and we’re going to be turned off all these alerts I’ve already turned them off here, turn off all these alerts as well go over here to show hide, always hide my name.
So I do that display partners names I leave on I turn off other ventures names some CL people’s names in the game world and show my clan and guild members right.
So I have this checklist well now for this basically is a highlight your characters and stuff like that. And you can turn all these off if you want you don’t have to.
This is not one of those little small things that make it look a little better in my opinion. And last but not least, this right here should be left on transparent masters A is an opinion of mine. I think you should turn this off.
Just because it makes the game look more realistic, right? You don’t really see through a massive boat in real life, I don’t think it should be able to do it in the game either. So that’s what you do here. Now, we’re gonna do is we’re gonna jump over that save.
Edit UI
Alright, cool, we’re going to change this as well click slots won’t change that this is going to change our menu down here. So we can also move around all of our little icons. Now, we got that completed rung up to edit UI.
We’re going to go custom HP bar. What this is going to do is you’ll see the changes here and we get a little buff bar all of our stuff to start showing up here. So we’re going to do that we’ll hit enter and hit Enter again. And so you see that all bar bars down here we have a health bar down here, but it’s hard to see. And also our old bar appears changed. So whenever we take damage, there’s going to be an HP bar that will appear here with our manager. Let’s see if I can do an ability real quick. All right, so you can see that appeared there. And once that fills back up, it will disappear again.
So now if you want to hide this stuff, will continue going through and editing it, everything you do is just click on the little eyeball and it will disappear.
Some things you can’t like mount here, you can’t make it disappear cannot make it disappear. But you can make your chat disappear. You can make your game disappear, you can make any of these little hot bars disappear.
You make your buff bar disappear if you want to see you know when senior buffs going on, and you can basically turn off everything. We have to be apparently level 50 to turn that off.
So we’ll turn off everything we can and this is what we’re left with. Now this menu down here, whenever you get a dark earth box, it will reappear.
So there we go. We have a very, very basic UI. Now, we’ll make this even clearer, we can drag this down to the bottom and drag this over here. And this is where I usually have myself when I stream to easily see myself right here. And I’ll cover that up.
Final Result
You can also make your map transparent by using the zoom bar at the side.
