Lylia Skills
Skill 1: Magic Shockwave – in her skill 1, Lylia releases an attack wave ahead, dealing 250 points of Magic Damage to enemies on the path and slowing them down by 40%. This effect lasts for 1.5 seconds. Gloom will then hitch a ride on Magic Shockwave, and if he touches Shadow Energy, he will devour it and immediately detonate the energy. In other words, her skill 1 is an attack wave; it deals magic damage to enemies in its path.
For better understanding, let’s explain her passive after skill 2.
Skill 2: in her skill 2, Lylia condenses Shadow Energy to the designated area, dealing 130 points of Magic Damage to enemies nearby and slowing them down by 80%. After Gloom devours Shadow Energy, he will detonate the energy and deal 260 (+100% total magic power) points of Magic Damage to enemies nearby. Each time Gloom upgrades himself, the damage dealt by Shadow Energy will be increased by 30% up to 120%.
Passive: Angry Gloom – Lylia gets power from Gloom, increasing her movement speed by 15%. Each time Gloom levels up, she will increase extra movement speed by 5%. Gloom will increase his levels by devouring Shadow Energy, up to 5 total. The higher his level, the more damage he will deal with. If her skill 1 hits the shadow energy, it will explode, dealing magic damage to nearby targets and the shadow energy will turn into a Gloom. The Gloom has a range. If Lylia stays within this range, she’ll get a 15% movement speed boost. There will be a timer running around Gloom, if you place shadow energy within the range before the timer runs out, the Gloom will upgrade its level. Here are the bonuses you get at each level:
- level 1 – +15% movement speed
- level 2 – +20% movement speed; +30% explosion damage
- level 3 – +25% movement speed; +60% explosion damage
- level 4 – +30% movement speed; +90% explosion damage
- level 5 – +35% movement speed; +120% explosion damage
Ultimate: Black Shoes – The shoe following her keeps track of her state (position, hp, mana) that he had 4 seconds ago. Pressing the Ulti will take her back to the former state and also regens an additional 25% hp. This skill also increases her movement by 40% for 2 seconds, and its max stacks her skill 2. You can check the location of the shoe in the mini-map.
Lylia Battle Spells
These are the recommended spells for Lylia:

Tips & Tricks For Lylia
Skill Upgrading Path
Skill 2 > Skill 1 > ultimate
Upgrade skill two over skill 1, use skill 2 for max last, and upgrade your ultimate whenever it’s available. At level 1, Lylia will have both her skill one and skill two unlocked, which is a great advantage. You can stack skill 2 to clear minion waves quickly at level 1. Else you can try to get first blood at level 1. Place your skill two inside bushes while laning, it will act as a ward protecting you from ganks. Lylia is very good at poking. Enemies can never be safe under their turret. So make sure you poke enemies as hard as you can. If you know for sure that the enemy will go through a specific place, you can set up traps. It’s even better if you have a CC teammate.
Other Tips
When playing, Lylia looks at the mini-map more frequently, because her skill 2 gives you more vision of your surroundings. If you see an enemy approaching, quickly setup your Gloom in that direction. If your teammate is ready to gank, you can use your ultimate to bait enemies. When doing one vs. 1 fights try to stay within Gloom’s range. It will increase your movement speed. And it makes it hard for your enemies to target you.
When using her skill 1 and 2 try always to aim. Don’t tap, even in tight situations. You have to be very careful when using ulti because the chances of ending up in between the entire enemy team during a clash are very high. So, it’s better to take a look at the mini map before using ulti.
