Black Desert All Wild Horse Spawn Locations

Introduction

Welcome to a Black Desert Online guide to help you find where wild horses spawn. Please be reminded that some locations are in a Node War Area, so make sure your character is leveled and equipped enough to survive an attack just in case.

If you are new to the game, this guide will also share a few tips below on identifying if you are in the right location.

Wild Horse Spawn Map

Disclaimer: This section overviews the wild horse and does not cover its respawn time or how to capture and tame wild horses. You can read about how to tame horses here

A wild horse randomly spawns with a random tier in a certain location, and many horses can be found near each other. There are different colors of horses based on their tier, and the wild horses you can commonly find range from Tier 1 to Tier 5.

Wild Horse Spawn Locations

To check if you are in the right location, you may try either of the following options:

  • Look at the 2D mini-map at the upper right corner of the in-game screen, or
  • Click the 2D icon at the upper left corner of the mini-map to convert it to a 3D map.

The 3D map can give you a bigger picture to see the other nearby places that you can use as a landmark. The 2D mini map states the main location on the top, the specific node war area at the bottom (if any), and an affiliated node.

To see the 3D map of the locations, watch this video. Meanwhile, here are the following locations as stated in the 2D map, as well as what directions you will be heading to find wild horses:

Fleme Hills

  • Western Velia Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Toscani Farm

You can go southwest, northwest, or northeast from the original point. If it further helps, you should be somehow inside the Sniper Rifle Hunting Zone.

Balenos Mountains

  • Serendia Neutral Zone Node War Area or Eastern Olivia Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Florin

In the Serendia Neutral Zone, you can go east or south. Or, you may also go north until you reach Eastern Olivia.

King’s Forest

  • Northern Serendia Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Heidel

In this area, you can go either northeast or southwest. Normally, you do not have to travel far from the original point.

Fogan Marsh

  • Serendia Swamp Node Area
  • Affiliated Node: Southern Cienaga

Most horses in this location are found when you walk towards the west, whether northwest or southwest.

Serendia Shrine

  • Serendia Outer Mountains Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Serendia Shrine

Horses are usually located when you go north or west. You will need to go over a high terrain to see them.

Southern Mountain Range

  • Serendia Outer Mountains Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Castle Ruins

At this point, you will only need to go between west and east as there are horses already in sight nearby.

Mediah Northern Highlands

  • Northern Mediah Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Mediah Northern Highlands

Although the spawn rate here is low, go south until you reach the foot of high terrain. Or, you will need to travel northeast to see a few.

Rumbling Land

  • Northern Mediah Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Rumbling Land

The horses are already spawned near you, so you don’t have to travel far.

Canyon of Corruption

  • Northern Mediah Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Canyon of Corruption

Like Rumbling Land, horses are spawned near, except you might need to go a bit further.

Mediah Shore

  • Central Mediah Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Mediah Shore

Most horses are located around the southwest so that you may go there instead. There’s a certain area on the north of the Stonebeak Shore that spawns wild horses as well.

Sausan Garrison

  • Northern Mediah Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Sausan Garrison

In this area, you may go around or further east.

North Abandoned Quarry

  • Northern Keplan Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: North Abandoned Quarry

The horses are spawned nearby, or beside the pathways, so you will only need to move around in this area.

Epheria Valley

  • Northwestern Calpheon Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Epheria Valley

In this one, either you head south or north. However, there are only a few spawns.

Phoniel’s Cabin

  • Calpeon Castle Site Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Phoniel’s Cabin

Given that many bushes and a low spawn rate, you might need to go around to find a wild horse.

South Kaia Mountain and Treant Forest

  • Southwestern Calpheon Node War Area
  • Affiliated Node: Treant Forest

Move further west until you reach the edge of a mountain. When you reach Treant Forest, you may move around instead.
