Leveling up from 61 and beyond, however, can be incredibly difficult and take a long time, considering the amount of grinding required. Below, we’ll go over the many different zones and buffs you can use to dramatically shorten this amount of time so that you are a top-tier character at a much faster pace. 

So, without any further delay, let’s jump into it. 

Why Is It So Difficult To Hit Level 62 And Beyond In BDO?

While leveling up in BDO stops becoming easy relatively early on, going from levels 1 to 61 is a simple all-around task where you primarily go through the main questline. This will net you a lot of experience to allow you to leapfrog up the levels relatively straightforwardly. 

After level 61, most people will have already exhausted the main story and several side missions, leaving very little of the game left to explore. On top of this, as you level up, reaching the next level requires considerably more experience than the last. 

But, not only does going past level 61 require a lot more experience than the previous levels, but the amount of available experience per remaining quest is much less than the earlier main ones. This combines to create a scenario where players can spend huge chunks of additional playtime just going up one level, with many others simply losing interest in the game altogether. 

Leveling Up From 1 to 61

Step 1. Complete ALL Main Quests

The first thing you’ll want to do to fast-track your character is to make sure you’ve completed all of the main quests and storylines. This should quickly get you up to level 56 by the time you’re finished. 

Step 2. Complete All Valencia Main Quests

Once you’ve completed all of the main story quests and reached level 56, you should be able to go into the main Valencia quests. You’re required to be at least level 56 before jumping into these quests, though they can also net you a considerable amount of experience upon completion before level 59. 

These include Valencia main quests 1 and 2. 

Step 3. Wear The Chenga – Sherekhan Tome Of Wisdom

Available around level 53 in the special quests ‘Suggested’ tab, this item will give you an additional 30% experience from all quests as a reward. When used with the late-stage Main Quests, the Valencia Quests, and all other side quests, this item can greatly increase your experience yield, making it vital for those looking to jump through the levels quickly. 

Step 4. Complete Calpheon, Grana Side Quests

Once you’ve completed all the main and Valencia quests, you’ll want to head to the Calpheon region area and complete all the side quests there. You’ll primarily want to focus on the Brelin farm and the outpost supply port, as these will net you a fair amount of high-level side quests. 

Once you’ve completed all these quests, your character should be either level 60 or 61, especially if you’ve worn the Tome of Wisdom earlier. Now that you’ve reached level 61, we can jump into how to propel from 61 to 62. 

Leveling Up From 61 to 62 & Beyond

Once you’ve hit level 61, one of the first things you’ll notice is that a considerably smaller number of side quests are available to you. Not only that, but most of them won’t net you nearly as much experience as they would have before hitting 61. This can make going from 61 to 62 incredibly difficult and 62 to 63 nearly impossible. 

Below, we’ll get into what you can do to shorten the time it takes to get through these levels as easily as possible. 

Best EXP Monster Grinding Zones With Season Gear

The first place you’ll want to focus on is monster spawn zones. These are great places for a grinding experience at a consistent rate. There are a ton of monster spawn zones in BDO; however, most of them aren’t netting you a lot of experience. So let’s go through some good zones to gain experience fast.

For these tests, we used PEN Tuvala season gear(247 AP/310 DP). If you play season, you should be able to get PEN Tuvala gear.

Protty Cave, Waragon Nest & Marie Cave 

Protty cave has now been buffed and is one of the fastest places in the game with season gear; you can gain around 2% exp/hour here at 61 with season gear. 

The only place that’s currently better is getting boosted at Gyfin, where you can gain around 2.15% exp/hour.

Other great areas for grinding EXP are the Wargon Nest and Marie Cave. You’ll need a recommended AP of around 160 to 165. 

The Waragon Nest area is located in the Valencia area and is normally meant to be part of a 3-party group. If you don’t want to go with anyone else, you should have a larger amount of AP. 

The Marie Cave is located within the Calpheon region, particularly in its southernmost area. There, you’ll find the cave along with a tombstone. Attacking the tombstone will result in a group of monsters spawning. This is pretty indefinite, so that you can do this as often as possible. 

Titium Valley(Fogans) & Desert Naga Temple 

Some of the best zones with season gear for grinding combat experience are Titium Valley and Desert Naga Temple, located within the Valencia region. 

Both areas are located on the opposite side of the Valencia Desert and ideally require the use of both, the Purified Water and the Star Anise Tea. These will cure any heat stroke and hypothermia debuffs whether you’re planning to grind during the day or night. 

Mirumok Ruins

Mirumok Ruins is a pretty good place you can go to for monster grinding, while in a party. It is located in the Kamasylvia region and has an AP requirement of 240. 

As with the Wargon Nest, while the area is intended for parties of 2 or 3 members, you can go at it alone if you have a high enough AP. Generally, it’s one of the best places to level up your character due to the monster EXP. 

Gyfin Boosted

The best grinding spot in BDO for getting the fastest experience is at Gyfin, and has been for a long time.

However it’s endgame content and most people can’t grind here, so if you can get boosted here by a friend or a guildmate, it would be ideal.

Experience Buffs In Black Desert

Now that we’ve gone over the top monster spawn zones that focus on giving you combat experience, we’ll jump into what buffs you’ll ideally want to make the process go faster while grinding. Buffs are important as they allow you to gain more experience more quickly and effectively than you’d otherwise be able to on your own. 

While there are a lot of different useful buffs available, we’ve included here the essential options available:

• Event Buffs
• Equipment Buffs
• Pet Buffs
• Guild Buffs
• Family Buffs
• Golden Bell Buffs
• Villa Buffs
• Priest Buffs

Event Buffs

This buff is great when an event is happening in-game and can offer varying boosts to your combat EXP based on the nature of the event.

The most common ones are the

Equipment Buffs

This buff is offered from specific equipment items you are wearing. Some of the best item sets include the Rugged Valley Helmet with the Resplendent Kydict’s Crystal, four pieces of the Lightstone of Wind: Alert (Combat), the Tachros’ Spirit Stone, and a completed outfit. HAN magic crystal – Gervish also gives combat EXP, so get the 4-set effect if you can. If you are just looking for the best bang for your buck, get the Dedication Lightstone effect, which gives you +300% Combat EXP.

Pet Buffs 

As with your clothing, pets can also result in getting you a boost to your combat EXP. Generally, you’re going to be looking for your pet’s talents. The talent in question should be for Combat EXP and will normally net you a 5% increase regardless of the pet in question. 

This bonus is increased if you have a Young Golden Dragon. This pet can increase its talent percentage based on its tier. This means that, at tier 4, you’ll get an additional 4% Combat EXP. This is also true if you manage to raise it to tier 5, giving you 5% additional combat EXP.

You can also activate 5 pieces simultaneously to stack the EXP buff. This means that if you have 5 golden dragons, you can have a total bonus of 46% combat EXP, while an additional 25% combat EXP if you only have 1 golden dragon and 4 regular pets. 

Guild Buffs 

A Guild Buff refers to the buff offered to members of a guild. By joining any guild and checking their guild skills, you will find 3 different skills that will raise your combat EXP for up to an hour. These skills are Call To Battle, State of Perseverance, and State of Nothingness. 

You’ll need to be a Guild Master, Guild Advisor, or Guild Officer to activate it at will. You can also speak to your guild member in any of these roles to activate it, as its effects can be felt by all members regardless of server or location. 

Family Buffs

A Family Buff is a buff offered to members of a family. Two main buff options are available: the Value Pack and the Secret Book of Old Moon. The Value Pack offers a bonus of 30% Combat EXP, while the Secret Book of Old Moon offers a 100% bonus to Combat EXP. 

You can get these buffs from the Pearl Shop as part of the 30-Day Value Pack or the 15-Day Secret Book of Old Moon option. The pack can also be purchased on the Central Market using silver and from certain periodical events, offering you everything for free. 

Golden Bell Buff

Another EXP buff is the Golden Bell. The Golden Bell can be purchased at the Pearl Shop during certain event setups.

You can also be on the lookout for a Golden Bell actively in use at the time by another person. You’ll still get all of the benefits of the golden bell even if you aren’t the one ringing it initially, so long as you are in the same server. 

Villa Buff

A Villa Buff can be used at any villa you rent. If you currently have the Secret Book of Old Moon active, you can remotely activate this buff from the premium tent at the Pearl Shop.

Either way, this will net you a 10% additional EXP buff that will stack alongside the other buffs mentioned. 

Priest Buff 

A Priest Buff is available at any city and can be purchased for around 3 million silver and will last for 120 minutes (2 hours). There is also an option for 300 minutes (5 hours) for 10 million silver. 

Furniture Buff and Book of Combat

Furniture Buffs are buffs attached to certain items. Often these items can use their buffs at certain times. For example, the Anniversary Cake offers a 100% combat EXP buff for up to 24 hours once a year on your anniversary.

There’s also the Book of Combat item, which offers a 100% boost to combat EXP over 7 days.

Elixir Buff 

The Elixir Buff offers a 20% bonus to EXP for 15 minutes and is commonly found as part of the Beast’s Draught potion.

This is the most powerful type of Elixir, meaning you will replace any other potion buff effects you may currently have. 

Cron Meal

Cron meal gives +20% combat EXP and +10% skill EXP.

Energy Exchange

You can exchange energy for +20% combat exp and +8% skill EXP.

Daily Blood Frenzy

You can get combat EXP +200% for 1 hour every day with the daily blood frenzy, by pressing (y), claiming the scroll, and then using it.

EXP Scrolls

Some scrolls you can get from certain events or attendance reward give boost to Skill and combat experience for a certain time when grinding, such as the 530% scroll and Blessed message scroll.

Titles

You can also gain permanent EXP bonus from titles, I gain +12% just from titles.

Conclusion

While BDO does become a hassle after reaching level 61, it doesn’t necessarily have to be. By understanding what ways and methods are out there, you can begin raising your level and hitting higher stage points even when most people find it impossible to see any method to level 62. 

By knowing the best and most optimized methods for grinding, what items to wear, pets to include and activate, and different things to do when playing, you can maximize your character’s overall potential and hit well beyond level 62 in a fraction of the time. 

Firstly, suppose you have any accessories, either ring, necklace, earring, or belt labeled as a yellow grade, for instance, a Tungrad Belt. In that case, you may also upgrade any yellow-grade accessory by using any accessories you can obtain from Elvia Realm content, especially on Serendia Elvia Realm. 

You may obtain cups like Cup of Arid Moonlight, Cup of Lone Tide, and Cup of a Lonely Cloud from the central market if it’s not out of stock.

However, due to the high level of demand from players currently that want to obtain this cup as their accessory, you will find that most of these on the Central Market will be out of stock. In this case, for you to get any cups for your accessories, you will have no choice but to grind on any Elvia Realm.

Cup Accessories

Using the cups, you obtain from the Elvia Realm, you can imbue any yellow-grade accessory. For example, as for your ring, you may imbue the Ring of Crescent Guardian, Ring of Cadry Guardian, Forest Ronaros Ring, Eye of the Ruins Ring, Tungrad Ring, Ominous Ring, and Capotia Ring for any enhancement level. 

Besides that, you may also enhance your necklace with any Deboreka Necklace, Revived River Necklace, Revived Lunar Necklace, Tungrad Necklace, Ogre Ring, Laytenn’s Power Stone, Sicil’s Necklace, Serap’s Necklace, Capotia Necklace. Next, for your belt, you may imbue any Basilisk’s Belt, Valtarra Eclipsed Belt, Tungrad Belt, Centaurus Belt, Orkinrad’s Belt, Turo’s Belt, Capotia Belt, and Deboreka Belt. 

Finally, for any earrings, you can imbue any yellow-grade earrings like Tungrad Earring, Narc Ear Accessory, Capotia Earring, Black Distortion Earring, Dawn Earring, Ethereal Earring, and Vaha’s Dawn.

How to Get Material to Craft Accessories Cup

To get the materials to craft these cups, you can get them from any Elvia Realm monster you can find on the Elvia Realm. Since we’re talking about cup accessories, you may get any of these cup accessories materials from Serendia Elvia Realm in either Birhagi Den, Altar Imp, Orc Camp, Swamp Naga, Fogan, Bloody Monastery, or Castle Ruins. 

If you look at the In-Game Map and go to Elvia Realm, you can view some special monster zones on Serendia Elvia Realm that require high AP and DP to defeat it. Click on the icon of the special monster. 

You can view the monster zone information in-game and look at the Serendia Elvia Realm Monster Zone list to get any special material from the Serendia Elvia Realm.

To make it easier for you to understand the monster zone and find any special item that dropped from the Serendia Elvia Realm, you may use this map Chris Poli made

Serendia Elvia Monster Area Map

In the map provided, you will see that this map provides you with any monster zone from the Serendia Elvia monster area that you can use to get special reset items from this zone. 

This map is maked using multiple tree colors based on the special color item each zone would drop. As you can see on the map, some areas with a specific color for each monster zone. Yellow for Narc represents the Lightning, Blue for Okiara represents the Water, and Red for Valtara represents the Fire. 

For instance, the area for Birhagi Den is marked with yellow to indicate that this area will drop any Narc materials; the same goes for Swamp Naga and Bloody Monastery. In a case where zones have three yellow colors is to indicate that these monster zone will drop the same set for this special item. 

As for the blue colors like the ones in Altar Imp and Swamp Fogans, you may use these areas to grind to get any material for the Okiara type that represents the blue color for this item. Finally, the red color indicates Valtarra, the monster zone that allows you to get all the materials from Orc Camp and Castle Ruins.

Additional AP Stat From Cup (Item Effect)

The additional AP you get from using this cup on your accessory will not be counted toward your AP bracket; it is hidden AP. This is because this is the item effect. Usually, I would have my PEN Tungrad earring imbued by using the Cup of Earth’s Sorrows, and if you look at the item effect, this earring provides an additional item effect that grants All AP +3. 

If I unequipped this earring, my awakening AP would be 270, and please note that the PEN Aboril Tungrad Earring has 17 AP, which has the same value as that of a Normal Tungrad Earring. 

On the other hand, if I equipped this earring back, my awakening AP would be increased by 17 points. This means that all additional AP plus three is counted from the bonus AP that will apply to this calculation, but it would not include on bracket AP.

Elvia Marni’s Stone

To collect all of the materials that you need instead of obtaining them by killing monsters from the Serendia Elvia monster zone. I previously showed you the detailed map that leads you to a specific location by following the color codes like yellow, blue, and red; there are other alternative ways that you can use. 

I would also recommend taking Marni’s Stone from Wacky Toshi NPC, which you can find in several areas. As for the Serendia Elvia Realm, you can find Wacky Toshi NPC in Glish Town, and he should always be there. If you go to visit his shop and scroll down to the bottom, you will be able to find Elvia Marni’s Stone. 

This stone could be the Northern Plain of Serendia, Altar Imp, Biraghi Den, Swamp Fogan, Swamp Naga Castle Ruin, Orc Camp, or Bloody Monastery. 

Remember that all of these Elvia Marni’s Stone may only be used by a character that has reached level 61 or higher. If you manage to fill these Elvia Marni’s Stones until full, you can exchange these stones for getting any material specifically from these stones’ location.

Crafting Cup Process

Once you have collected all of the required materials, for instance, if you aim for Cup of Earth’s Sorrows to gain additional All AP +3 for your earring and have collected all the materials needed, it’s time for the cup crafting process. 

Firstly, you must open your processing window and go to the Heating menu. Then, put all the required materials from your heating processing menu and initiate the process. You will then need to wait sometime to get one piece of your Cup of Earth’s Sorrows. 

If you have two identical cups or more, they will be stacked on top of the first cup, meaning that only one inventory slot will be used. To use the item, right-click on it, and you will automatically call on your Black Spirit and go to the Reform Menu. 

Then you only need to pick your accessory, and the cup that is specific for your accessory will appear on this menu. Once you select and confirm to reform it, the process will begin, and you will be guaranteed a 100% success rate when reforming your accessory using this cup.

Firstly, let’s discuss how to build a Drakania awakening, and lucky enough, it’s a DR class just like Drakania succession; hence just in case you’ve already played the class, you may use the same gear. 

In terms of the gearing path, if you’re coming off-season, I would highly recommend that you follow my exact gearing path here, as this guide would provide you with all the info you need about her. 

Now, let’s take a brief look at crystals.

Drakania currently has high-accuracy modifiers on her debuffs and self-buffs; however, they are somewhat difficult to learn. Her general accuracy is pretty low, so unlike with the succession build, I would not skip out on the easy-to-gain accuracy. 

In my gloves, I usually pick Jin Magic Crystal – Viper; for PvP

I usually go for the Bon Glorious Crystal of Honors – Special Evasion.

As for the helmet, you can run a wide variety of different things here, such as Resistance or Human Damage RPF Crystals, if you need to lean more into a unique type of build.

Crystals (Part II)

I usually use Red Battlefield Crystal: Adamantine for the boots, as it’s also an ideal choice for PvE. She has a lot of openings in her kit in terms of protection but has some resistance against the most powerful enemy in the game knockdown is a good idea. 

Next, we have the weapons where I would usually suggest you use Crystal of Elkarr in main hands, and for PvP, I would advise you to go for Glorious Crystal of Gallantry – Olucas. 

However, for PvE, I suggest you go for Glorious Crystal of Gallantry – Ah ‘krad instead.

As for the offhand for your maneuver, you should use JIN Glorious Crystal of Courage – Ignore Grapple Resistance.

Awakening has a grab, and having the ability to land a grab is extremely helpful. Most people started running JIN Glorious Crystal of Courage – Ignore Grapple Resistance in their kits for PvP. 

Running two crystals is a deal breaker regarding landing grabs, so you should go for that when focusing on PvP. In PvE, the only main difference is that you should be running Kutum Dagger or Blackstar Shard offhand and Corrupted Crystals. 

When it comes to the accuracy of the PvE focused, you may choose to run Black Magic Crystals – Valor in gloves and skip out on the accuracy.

However, I don’t recommend you do that, especially if you do any PvP, as those Jin Magic Crystal – Viper will pay themselves off.

Artifacts

Now let’s take a look at the Artifacts. The PvE setup is quite expensive, however, but it’s incredibly powerful. If you want to make a maximum effort out of Drakania awakening, you will need this artifact setup. 

So for PvE purposes, I would always run monster AP on the artifacts, and the Lightstone of Fire: Blade combo for Drakania awakening that you should get your hands on is the Deathblow which gives you a 10% critical chance and +10 damage.

With the actual crystal combined, you should have a total critical chance of 14% and +16 extra AP against monsters. 

The problem is that you will need two of these Lightstone of Fire: Blade, which will most likely be going to be sold out as the last time that I checked, these were available at 2.5 billion silver, which will most likely rise to 5 billion silver due to the bids on it. 

However, if you managed to somehow get your hands on these two, then you should know that this is by far the best Lightstone combo for PvE Drakania Awakening.

It’s also considered the best combo for any class in the game that doesn’t have a 100% critical rate on abilities. Parts of the kits in Drakania may have a 100% critical chance, but the highest damage one doesn’t, so if you’re able to get your hands on these Lightstone of Fire: Blade, you should get it.

For PvP best in the slot, I suggest you run a Marsh’s Artifact – Melee Accuracy that provides you with +8 Melee Accuracy, and the combo you should be running is Target Openings. 

If you cannot get your hands on critical hit diamonds, you might want to run it with a Frenzy one (Lightstone of Fire: Frenzy), which would provide you with +2.5% All Special Attack Extra Damage.

This would provide you with +10 Hidden AP, +16 Total Accuracy, +100 Stamina, and a 6% Critical Hit Damage bonus. It’s a perfect alternative if you’re somehow unable to get your hands on Lightstone of Fire: Strike.

PvE Add-Ons (Part I)

Let’s examine the two major ones, Dommbringer and Sundering Roar I. These two are the Tier 3 add-on that will provide you with the largest possible buff. On both of these add-ons, I’ve added monster damage +30 for 7 seconds and a critical hit rate of 30%. 

When I use these two, I will use them at a separate time in my combos, and by having it on both of these abilities, I can keep these two buffs off at pretty much any time. 

As always, these add-ons are completely customizable, and you don’t have to follow exactly like the one I will show you in this article, but if you want the best result and are not sure of what you’re doing, then I would highly recommend that you follow these add-ons guide.

The Drakania awakening kit is quite interesting, and if you are not using a critical hit chance. Skill add-ons with +5% Critical Hit Chance and potentially the light stone combo with a 14% critical hit chance, the blue abilities deal more damage to have a 100% critical rate on them. 

These two are great mainly due to the extra +30 monster AP, which can be considered the largest buff you can get. At Tier 2, you will only be able to get an extra +20 monster AP, so having an extra +10 monster, AP is always useful in PvE. 

The same goes for the Critical Hit Rate, which should be +20 monster AP if you use it on a Tier 2 add-on. Now the 30% Critical Hit Rate is extremely great.

PvE Add-Ons (Part II)

However, if you can get up and get a 100% critical hit rate on your red abilities with skill add-ons etc., they deal way more damage than the blue ones. 

Hence, if you intend to go like in-game grinding stuff, you must ensure that you get maximum DPS and the critical hit chance. That will then unlock the power of your red hexplot abilities. 

Now, if you’re doing earlier grinding, you probably don’t need this, and you can rely on the critical hit rate of your blue abilities and then change these around if that is what you want to do. Next, we also have Aerial Burst in our add-ons, and you should be using minus DP on this one and an attack speed.

Your combo should usually start with Doombringer to Aerial Burst, so you must get the attack speed right out as soon as possible. Aerial Burst is also a minus DP ability, so why not add more minus DP to that ability? 

You should use it for the DPS rate to stack it on top of Aerial Burst. Next, we also have the Sundering Roar I considered the kit’s hardest-hitting ability. 

In the blue version, it hits extremely hard, provided you’re able to get your critical hit rates up, so I would usually use it right after getting both of my critical hit rates, attack speed, and damage up. You also need to put some accuracy and buffs on it.

PvE Combo

For a basic PvE combo that you may use to level up your Drakania, you will want to ensure that you’re utilizing your movement abilities, as there will be plenty of pack-to-pack movement. Depending on where you choose to grind, as well as your gear, you might be able to cut off plenty of the abilities or use simple abilities to one-shot packs. 

The best abilities will be your huge AOE abilities, such as shift + Q and Shift + F. Some movement tricks you can utilize include the shift + space to fly in and then open up with shift + Q right after. 

Shift + Q is one of the best ways to end the flight early, so basically, whenever you want it, you can go straight into shift + Q and initiate a pack that way. 

Another great way of going pack-to-pack is W + RMB, W + E, and pretty much every time we go straight into shift + Q, regardless of what we do to get into the pack, use shift + Q right after to start the damage and get those Tier 3 add-ons going. You may also use W + F as it also helps you to go pack to pack.

These abilities are extremely helpful to help you kill huge aoe packs and then move on to the next one. When we get into an area where we need to do a bit longer and more complex combo. 

The one I’ve been using and enjoy because it fits perfectly into my PvP combo would be where we move into the pack and start with Shift + Q, followed by Shift + F, S + F, S + S + E, and lastly S + F again. 

After that, if the pack is still alive, you can get an infinite loop this combo, and the infinite loop version of this combo would look something like this. We start with Shift + Q, Shift + F, S + F, S + E, S + F, RMB, LMB, Shift + Q, Shift + F, S + F, S + E, and at this point here, your S + F will be on cooldown, so you use RMB, LMB, Shift + Q, and then rotate it from the start.

PvP Add-Ons

For the first one, we usually recommend players go for Sundering Roar I. We currently inconsistently always make the same combo, so we are trying to add a critical hit rate wherever possible. 

Sundering Roar I is such a hard-hitting ability, so getting that critical hit rate on that ability would help you to ensure that you will have at least two and more critical hits when you’re using it for that high-damage combo. 

On top of that, the extra +10 human damage is always a great addition. Specifically for PvP purposes, Aerial Burst I is an incredibly good catch, and as we covered earlier, the ore add-on for this makes it a cc, so it’s like a decent aoe cc as well can expect to use it all the time. It also provides an additional cast speed of +7%, so you will have a good chance of landing it, which means procking the attack speed.

Next, it also gives you All DP -15 for 10 seconds for a single target which is pretty useful for beginners. We will also need Storm Maul, which is the movement speed ability. 

It’s great for getting into position doing catches or anything similar. It provides you with a +20% critical hit rate and a bonus +7% attack speed for 7 seconds. You will need to use this ability quite often as it’s a protected ability that deals great damage. 

You should always keep those abilities up in PvP to allow you to get more damage so that you can land the compost when we catch people with Drakania. After that, you will also need Doombringer, where you will need to put on max human damage, cast, and attack speed. You must max out these stats, as you can do plenty of damage with Drakania awakening.

PvP Combo

As for the PvP combo, you need to use the Core Aerial Burst; otherwise, it won’t work. The first combo will be coming off a catch which means that we don’t start with the grab so that we would still have the grab just in case you need it. 

You can always use a grab cc and then go for a combo. One of the things that I love about this combo is that it utilizes movement abilities so that you can get the range catch cc. Besides that, if you’re too lazy and prefer to have the core of your damage abilities be the same as for PvE and PvP, this might be just the combo for you. 

For this combo to work, you may do it either by using W + E, or W + RMB. Many would prefer W + RMB because it has an iframe to it, while W + E does the same thing, which is a movement ability with cc at the end of it; however, it’s unprotected as we don’t have the call for it since we need the other call for this combo to work.

PvP Combo (Repositioning)

You may also use them to reposition by starting with a cc. Use W + RMB into the floating cc; after that, you need to go straight into shift + Q. By using shift + Q instantly, we can cut off some of the unprotected frames after the iframe runs out. 

If you notice during your gameplay that there is an iframe right after you use W + RMB, there’s an unprotected section. By going straight into shift + Q, even if we hit the cc or not, we could limit the chance of getting cc’d ourselves. 

That’s basically how you need to get it done. You need to see if you can get that catch and always go shift + Q right after because even if you miss it, at least you’re protecting yourself, and then you can disengage and try again. 

Remember, right after shift + Q, always go for shift + F for the stiffen for the knockdown and then proceed with S + F, S + E, and S + F. You may need then iframe away to get out from the spot safely.

Today we will cover a beginner’s guide on the node and workers system in the black desert online game. This is specifically targeted at players who have no idea about nodes and worker systems and how to invest in them to make their progress in this game better. We will cover the topic of setting up a basic node, what nodes to invest in, and getting workers to start working in your nodes.

Contribution Points

A little medal-type symbol at the top left corner of your screen will represent your total contribution points(shown in the picture below).

It will show as numbers/numbers, the second number representing your total contribution points, and the first number is the current total of uninvested contribution points. In my case, I’ve invested all my contribution points, and they should always be invested to maximize your worker empire income.

Contribution points are important because you need contribution points to invest in nodes or hire more than one worker in any city.

Contribution points are obtained from completing quests like story, side, and daily quests or cooking. You can also power-level your contribution points with AFK cooking. Your percentage will increase as you earn contribution points; when it hits 100%, you will get more contribution points.

The Importance of City

When you press the M key on the map, you will see a lot of lines around. Each city around the map has a city or forest-like icon. You can build your nodes outside of this city. For example, if you want to get to the Alejandro farm, the closest city would be Heidel so that you will start your node from here.

If a node is not invested in, the line will be white; if it is invested in, it will be yellow; as you can see, I’ve invested in Moretti plantation but not in Northern Swamp. If you have a Value pack active you can invest from anywhere in the game, using your energy, by left-pressing the node and pressing invest contribution.

Otherwise, you’ll have to visit the node manager to invest. You can find the node manager by right-clicking on the node, and it will automatically select the path to the node manager for that node.

Press on the node and then invest contribution on what you want to invest in.

But if you want to get a place far away from your current city, it’s probably best to get a node from the closest city rather than from your current city. The proximity of the city matters because all of your workers will be based out of your city, and the time it takes depends on the type of worker and the distance from the node to the city.

So when you hire workers, they need to travel, which takes time. Getting to a city nearer to the nodes is advisable to save time. So it is best to choose a centralized city or one closer to all the nodes you want.

Primary Function of Nodes

As you travel around the world of Black Desert, you will come across different areas that will unlock map waypoints, known as the nodes. These nodes have multiple different purposes.

• Send workers to a node to gather different items to sell in the marketplace or use for crafting.
• Function as a connection to reach farther nodes. You cannot obtain anything from a node not connected to cities.
• Used in trading
• Increase the drop rate of mobs in that area by investing energy into it (click the node, and the energy bar will appear, click it to increase the drop rate as the exp bar increases)

Which Nodes To Invest In

If you want to invest heavily in processing, cooking, or alchemy skill in the black desert, where you need certain materials, then you need to invest in nodes that provide raw materials. You can also invest in those nodes if you decide to make quick money on the marketplace. So the example we will see today is cooking honey, which can be used in cooking skills or sold in the marketplace to earn extra money.

Wise Selling

When looking for different things to set up a node network, consider the value of the items in the marketplace. Use the material tab on the central market on the left, identify items in demand, and go for a solid amount of money.

Then use the map to identify which node you can use to look for that particular material. For example, the timber base price is only 285, but there are already thousands on the marketplace, and it will not sell very well.

Instead, if you sell acacia timber, although it has a lot in the market, its pre-order is also very high. So the chances it will sell are very high. One of the items that go well is cooking honey which you can get only from Alejandro farm and sells very fast for 2500 a pop.

How To Connect To a Node

Whenever you arrive at a node, you will meet the node manager. Click on them to talk and then click on the node management button. Once done a tab will pop up at the left that says invest contribution. Once you have invested, you can connect any of the items.

All the nodes around with white line are not connected, and those with the orange line are connected. Then click on the node itself, which will bring up everything you can obtain at the node. Then it will ask you which worker you want to assign to it. Once you click on which item you want to obtain, you need to invest a contribution point for that too. You will not get anything from that node if it is not invested.

How To Hire Workers

Navigate to the work hiring guy that is nearest to the node. They are called work supervisors and are located in all the cities around the map. To look for them, hit the search icon in the top right corner and look for the worker icon.

Once you click on it, it will show the closest work supervisor. Click on this guy and ask him if you need to hire workers. Then click contract workers, and it will cost 5 energy. You will be given random workers from 5 different tiers.

The tier from the lowest to highest is white, green, blue(skilled), gold(professional), and reddish orange(artisan). I would just reroll anything below professional, and once you got your empire going, only roll for artisan workers. If you don’t like the worker you get, click another, and another worker will pop up. There are three types of workers.

• Goblins – fastest worker but cost more energy
• Giants – slowest worker but cost less energy
• Human – somewhere in between

Workers and Housing

To hire more than one worker, you need to build housing for your workers, using lodging. To do that, open the map, click the city, and it will show all the housing available in the city. You click here, worker, and this work will be assigned to you.

To make it simple, navigate to the filter at the top right corner, click repurchased, and then lodging. Once inside, click lodging and purchase it. It might ask to check purchase conditions, and you might need to buy other houses first.

How To Assign Workers

To assign workers, click the map, open up the node designated, click on the product type and the list of workers will be shown.

Choose the worker you want and then click change and set it to 50,000 so it will be automatically sent back each time. Then hit start work. All the collected items will be sent to the bank. So you can go to your bank manager to check all the collected items.

Replenish Workers Energy

Press the escape key and go to the life tab. Click on the worker’s list to show all the workers’ information.

If their energy hits zero, they will stop working. You need to hit recover all to replenish all of their energy. For that, you will need a beer, grilled bird meat, or steaming hot grilled bird meat. Go to the marketplace, buy some beer, and then use it on all workers to replenish their energy. To replenish your workers, press the worker pickaxe icon, Recover All, and Confirm. Finally, press repeat all since some of your workers likely has stopped working.

Conclusion

How To Find Battle Stats

Firstly before we can calculate gear score, we’ll need to find your character’s stats. Press Start and click on the Character tab to view your character’s stats, or simply press P.

Once you pull up your stats, you want to go down and search for battle stats. Click on it to view the details. After that, you want to look for the defensive power and your attacking power or awakening attack power in your battle stats.

So I am an Awakening Guardian, so my attack power will be based on my Awakening AP, which is my Awakening weapon. It would be the regular Attack (AP) if you are not awakening.

How To Calculate Gear Score

So to calculate your Gear Score, you would want to take your AP for the weapon you currently use + Defense (DP). For instance, I use my awakening weapon(the jordun), so I would want to take Awakening AP 289 + Defense (DP) of 333.

My DP is currently 333; my awakening AP is 289; if I take 289 and add it to 333, that would give me 622.

So this means that my total gear score is 622. Again, you will want to take your AP plus your DP and add those two together, and you will be able to get your actual gear score. That’s the formula there.

If you play Succession, you would take the Attack (AP) + Defense (DP) instead; then in my case it would be 286 + 333, which is 619.

It’s not easy to build this ship, especially since you’ll be required to gain plenty of materials. Altogether, you must obtain the following:

• Jade Coral Ingots x 800
• Pine Coated Plywood x 1,600
• Standardized Timber Squares x 1,000
• Enhanced Flax Fabrics x 450
• Epheria Frigate Designs x 25

Jade Coral Ingots

To obtain Jade Coral Ingots, your character must spend time at sea. The top location to do this is the water between Baesa Island and Modric Island. You’ll be able to find coral and other materials you’ll need here for building your ship.

Use t2 coral(Prairie Green Coral, Golden Sun Coral, Breezy White Coral, Twilight Red Coral, OR Daybreak Blue Coral x5) and Melted Titanium Shard x25 to make Jade Coral ingots.

Diving Equipment

It is recommended to buy a diving costume to complete the quest. Here are some that you’ll find beneficial:

• [Musa] Da-Dum Da-Dum Diving Hat: This will give you enough air to breathe beneath the water for 30 seconds per go
• Luck Shoes of Fortuna: The water boots allow airflow via crystals that are suitable for underwater use
• Agile Seal Elixir: This will increase your breathing abilities by an additional 15 seconds each time while in the sea. Use this every 8 minutes; it will come in handy since it’ll allow you to gain more materials.
• Balenos Meal: This will give you a better boost for gaining a higher speed
• Magic Hoe or Manos Hoe: This piece of equipment will aid you in collecting coral

Corals Needed

Next, you’ll take your plunge into the sea. All the different kinds of coral will provide you with coral materials you can obtain. Two of them are the Rainbow Corals and Red Corals. You’ll be able to find them at the Sea Fence too!

Just be aware that collecting coral can take a lot of time. It might be helpful to purchase some from the Central Market to build it more quickly. Whenever you do have the right amount you need, you can begin to convert them to Jade Coral Ingots. But coral isn’t all you’ll require – you’ll need gems too!

Gems Required

These are some of the gems that you’ll need:

• Emerald
• Ruby

You must obtain both Regular gems and Resplendent gems. You must ensure their colors match. For example, when you choose Red Coral, you’ll also want to select Resplendent Ruby gems since it’s red.

Melted Titanium Shards to Obtain

You can easily purchase Titanium materials from the marketplace. Try and get as many of them as possible- it will greatly help! Certain areas in Valencia should be your go-to when collecting Titanium outside the Central Market. This includes the South part, which lies beneath the desert.

When you’ve gathered all your materials, it’s time to heat and melt them. Here’s the amount of each you’ll need to do this:

• Coral Pieces x 10
• Gem x 1

This will give you Coral x 3. You take your total number of Corals, which is 15 here, and begin the heating process with Resplendent gems, for example. Remember, the gem must be the same color as the coral. Corals x 3 are required for every Resplendent gem x 1. The result is Twilight Red Coral x 5. Repeat the heating process now by combining your Twilight Red Corals with Melted Titanium Shards x 25. You’re then left with Jade Coral Ingots x 5.

Standardized Timber Squares

Trees are your source. Standardized Timber Squares are formed using logs. Just like with coral, you can find logs and collect them yourself. Alternatively, you can purchase them from the marketplace.

Pine Coated Plywood

Use 5x Pine plywood+ 50x coconut to make pine coated plywood.

For creating the Pine Coated Plywood, you must first obtain pine timber. The best location for this is likely Florin since it contains pine trees in plenty.

Also, you’ll need to convert pine timber into pine planks, using 5 and 10 pieces, respectively. The next step is to change pine planks into pine plywood x 5. Combine the plywood with coconuts x 50. Coconuts can be found at the Areha Palm Forest or Arehaza Town. Heat the coconuts together with your plywood. You’ll then receive your Pine Coated Plywood.

Enhanced Flax Fabric

To create Enhanced Flax Fabric, you combine 5x Shining Powder with 5x Flax Fabric using grinding. Requires Grinding: Skilled knowledge.

Flax Fabric can be made by collecting flax from Costa Farm or Moretti Plantation. Crush 10 of the flax into flax thread x 10, then to flax fabric x 5. There will be a lot of them and they all come cheap! Once more, the other way to obtain it is to purchase it straight from the Central Market.

Crush the flax fabric and shining powder together using grinding. Without the grinding skill, there’s no way to convert your materials into Enhanced Flax Fabric. To make shining powder, you must first perform alchemy. You can find out more about how to obtain it through the guide. Just note that if you’re a beginner, you might not be able to use this process as it’s only available at certain skill levels.

Alternative Ways to Obtain Pine-Coated Plywood and Enhanced Flax Fabric

You can gain the Pine Coated Plywood and Enhanced Flax Fabric by completing daily quests. You’ll be able to receive 3 materials for each one individually, giving you 18 in total for every day you play. Altogether, there are 6 that you can complete. Here’s what each quest entails:

• Quest 1: You’ll meet the stable keeper at Chronica. It’s quite easy and all you need to do to finish the quest is a carrot delivery.
• Quest 2: Travel to the library where you’ll be given a book. You’re assigned to find a character with whom you’ll have to return to the library.
• Quest 3: Purchase a bottle from the material vendor so that you start to purify some water. Collect the water using your bottle. Take the water back to the vendor who’ll then begin to purify the water. This completed the quest.
• Quest 4 requires you to obtain the Big Horned Wild Boar Intact Horn. It shouldn’t take long – it’s a very simple quest. Return the horn to the Villager and that’s you done!
• Quest 5: The A Tune for Spirit Quest is the 5th one. To partially complete the quest you must obtain a flute from the Blue Arnatte musician. To gain this, you must have 1 contribution. So, you must have one to use. Start playing the flute while ensuring that you don’t play any notes out of tune. You’ll only need to do this for 20 seconds. Quest Objective Accomplished!
• Quest 6: Take the flute to the musician to obtain your last quest. Arnatte’s Melody can be a little tedious and frustrating. You’re given three locations and must travel to one of them. If you’re brave enough, there is a shortcut down the side of a mountain. But then, you’ll need to swim, though it will save you time! Speak to the Musical Spirit once you arrive at the location. And that’s it!

How to Gain Epheria Ship Designs

You must go to the Philaberto Falasi family to obtain the ship designs. They’ll provide you with a quest to complete. Then, choose the Epheria Frigate design to help you construct the ship. Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive your Epheria Frigate Ship design. It’s the same one that must be finished for you to get access to the Epheria Sail Boat. You just need to pick up a box and deliver it to the Wharf. Ensure to do this two times for it to be completed.

Once you’ve done this a total of 25 times, you’ll receive the number of designs that are required. However, you can begin constructing whenever you’ve got at least some Frigates. At this stage, you can start constructing in Port Epheria 3-5. You’ll see the following options to choose from:

• Storage
• Lodging
• Shipyard
• Residence

Select Shipyard and then level it to level 3.

It will take fairly long for you to complete. Therefore, you’ll want to begin as soon as you can. Remember: you can begin when you’ve received some of the materials. You can have several workers building using the same material. Make sure you have the materials in the Port Epheria storage.

Epheria Frigate Design List

You can select your Epheria Frigate design. For example, let’s say you choose the Jade Coral Ingot.

That’s everything. So, now you can start constructing!

Sailing Quest

If you want to increase your skill levels before building your ship, you can begin first by completing the Sailing Quest. While this will add time for finally constructing the Epheria Frigate, it can be helpful, especially if you’re a newbie!

The main one here is the Great Expedition Quest. The green balls are required so that you can complete the quest and obtain the boat. Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive an additional 5 green balls to boost your sailing level to Skill Level 1. This is known as the Base Sailing Skill. It’s a very helpful skill to have as it can improve your speed while at sea and make you better at fishing too! But just know: it’s a very simple one at that!

At the Crow’s Nest, you can swap items, specifically Sequins. You can receive 100 balls in total here! If you repeat this for a week straight, you can gain what you need and gain the boat fast.

Otter Merchant Quests

Next, you should speak with the Otter Merchant Union guide. They’ll give you two quests to complete. You’ll need to pass him an:

• Iridescent Coral Piece
• 10 regular coral pieces

Regular corals can be obtained straight from the marketplace. Alternatively, you can find them from the sea. Iridescent Coral Pieces can also be farmed. Two events will follow:

• Chest Event
• Otter Merchant Event

There, you can swap your Iridescent Corals for other materials like seaweed. Only one Iridescent Coral will be needed to be given daily. Therefore, you’ll be fine if your Inventory contains at least a few – you don’t need loads to progress! In addition to seaweed, the guide will hand you Ruddy Manganese Nodules.

Other Quests Required for Sailing

Eight other quests help you with sailing. One of them is the Barter Quest. Your guide here will give you a quest to complete, which will involve you bartering several times. This will allow you to gain access to the next quest. Then, you’ll be asked by the next guide to complete a barter again. This might even increase from what was required the last time.

Select a single artifact to use. Completing these quests will give you Oquilla Eye coins in return, seaweed, and more! The guide can offer you materials such as the Enhanced Island Tree Coated Plywood at this stage.

Guide 3 will have you put some minute sea monsters to end. It doesn’t take up much time – you’re probably talking around 20 to 30 minutes. There will 3 quests in total for you to complete here.

Then, your next three quests are the final ones and you’ll have finished all the sailing quests. This will involve you killing the following:

• Nine Shark
• Black Rust
• Candy

For this, you’ll receive Moon Scale Plywoods x 10. These materials are needed then for the boat. Other rewards you’ll obtain here include:

• Deep Tide-Dyed Standardized Timber Squares
• Cox Pirates’ Artifacts
• Tide-Dyed Standardized Timber Square

Whenever you’ve completed all of these quests, you can start to work on constructing your Frigate ship!

Dream Horse

There are three types of dream horses. There is the Pegasus Arduanatt Dream Horse, the Unicorn Dine, Dream Horse, and then the Doom Dream Horse. Each of these three horses offers different things, such as differing stats.

Pegasus (Arduanatt)

The Pegasus Arduanatt Dream Horse is a winged horse that can glide from higher places safely. These horses do not fly at all; instead, they glide around from area to area at higher speeds. This is a good thing to have, as it will allow you to get around the map easily. 

Unicorn (Dine)

This is a dream horse that is often considered to be a very friendly mount. These horses work very well in the way of giving you buffs. This can give you higher DP and higher Evasion. These horses can also heal you as needed. This Unicorn mount is often considered to be of the support archetype and can be very useful when battling enemies. This is also the only horse that isn’t affected by the Valencia Desert Slow. 

Doom

This dream horse is often considered one of the fastest horses in the game. This is because it gets the triple acceleration skill. It also has many more powerful attacks and stronger horse skills that scale with your character’s AP. Owing to their name, these horses use explosions and fire to kill enemies in battle and damage them. 

How To Obtain a Dream Horse

Because these horses are sought after, especially the Pegasus Arduanatt Dream Horse, people wonder how you can get one. The breeding mechanics can’t obtain these horses in the game, and because of this, people wonder how it is possible to get one. So far, there are only three ways to obtain the Pegasus Arduannt Dream Horse. 

1. Very low rng chance from Shakatu’s Shiny Box

2. Awakening a tier 8 courser horse

3. Buying the horse from the horse market. This can cost at least 10 billion silver and upwards of 12 billion silver. 

How To Obtain a Courser Horse

If you want to awaken a Dream Horse yourself, you’ll want at least a level 30 tier 8 courser horse with these skills.

• Charge
• Drift
• Sprint
• Instant Acceleration
• Side Step
• S: Instant Acceleration
• S: Side Step

To know if you have a course horse, there will be a gold symbol in the top right corner of its icon. 

How To Awaken To Get a Dream Horse

When you have a level 30 tier 8 courser horse, you’ll want to begin “courser training” it. This means that you feed different materials into your horse. You do this until you can make the awakening attempt.

The first step is to put your horse in a stable at the Stonetail Horse ranch. Make sure this horse doesn’t have any gear equipped or any items in its inventory. The option for courser training will appear.

From here, the training window will open. You will see three different options when it does this: Skill Training, Elegance Training, and Strength Training. You must consume different materials to train your horse in these three areas. Each time you consume one material, you increase its training exp by about 1 percent. The maximum you can get in a training area is about 180% exp. This gives you a 90% chance of getting that particular horse.

To awaken your horse, you’ll need 200% training exp(when you combine all 3). It doesn’t matter how much in each area; all three can add up to 200%. I would recommend using cron stones, this way you only use half the material per attempt.

Material For Awakening Horses

Focusing your training on a particular area will increase your chances of getting that particular horse.

Pegasus: To get the pegasus, focus on Skill Training more. 

Use Rainbow Gem Fruit or Stonetail Fodder when focusing on the Pegasus.

Dine: To get the Dine, you should focus on Elegance more.

Use Breezy Conch Seaweed or Spirit Pouch of Ferocious Beast when focusing on the Dine.

Doom: To get Doom, you should focus on Strength more.

Use Pure Forest Breath or Deep Blue Hoof Root when focusing on Doom.

Once you focus your horse on skill training enough, you’ll have a chance to awaken it. You’ll need one more piece of material to complete the process.

You’ll need 1x of Krogdalo‘s Origin Stone. To get this, you must combine Swaying Wind Fragment x25 and Rumbling Earth Fragment x25. Use simple alchemy to combine these two items.

Dream Horse (Pegasus) Skills

It should be noted here that a dream horse can learn any of the other courser skills, too. But here are some specific skills that the Pegasus Dream Horse can learn:

1. Courser’s Spirit: This skill automatically regenerates health and stamina while parking.
2. Double Jump: This double jumps in the air. This can also be used with the high jump.
3. S: Charge: This performs a second charge immediately.
4. Wings of Wind: This is used while you double jump in the air. This allows you to glide in the air. Fall damage is also reduced by a 100% for a short period.
5. Wings of Freedom: This allows the horse to turn while gliding.

One of those 3 skills is called Courser’s spirit. Tier 9 horses are also called dream horses and are not easy to get and breed.

Courser’s Spirit

Courser’s spirit is like a nod to the perfect tier 8. This skill is easy for your horse to learn if you roll it off using your skill change coupon. So this is the skill we will for rerolling.

Breeders experimented with this and discovered your horse will almost always learn this skill within a level or two of rolling it off.

This method is used to get your horse to as close to 24 skills as you can. The goal of this method is to get rid of caution at the end for whatever skill was left. The skill ended can be anything from S. sideways or caution. 

How Horses Learn The Skill

Branding Stone

It is recommended that we buy a branding stone. Branding stones by themselves don’t help your horse that much. However, branding stone used in conjunction with skill change coupons can be very effective, and in tier 9, it will save you a lot of money in the end.

So for the cost of 2 skill change coupons in the pearl shop, buy 1 branding stone and brand your tier 9 at level 1. If your horse is Pegasus or Arduannt, you will start your course with a Courser’s spirit, double jump, and wings of the wind. 

When To Use Mount Skill Change Coupons

We have a sweet spot in tier 8 and tier 9, which is basically from their starting level through about level 12. They will learn many skills during this part of their level up, and you want to use mount coupons now at level 2. You can learn S. charge, and you can hit two more levels.

Anytime you hit a level where your horse does not learn a skill, immediately use a coupon. For example, at level 4 the horse picks up a skill and learns skills every level until level 12, and as soon it enters level 2 and does not learn a skill, you can use its first coupon to roll off the Courser’s spirit. 

The Best Way

You can start rolling when you fail to stack the wings of freedom. You can do this by rolling skill on tier 9 and focusing on the Pegasus skill first because flying and having all the fun features of being a dream horse are significant.

That is why you need jumping skills and wings of freedom first. Then let it go through and learn skills up to level 12. S. charge is one of the challenging skills to learn, but it is a very effective and powerful skill. So pick up this skill no matter what because, in the end, you will need all the good skills

The Outcome

By the end of this process, you will have a 23 or 24-skill horse. So you will need to roll off the Courser’s spirit away from the horse in favor of other better skills to learn. Every time you use a coupon and roll the Courser’s spirit off, the horse will learn a new skill on the next level. So the use of branding stone is essential as it guarantees that the Courser’s spirit has a higher chance of being learned or any other skill once the horse levels up. So with the use of branding stone, you will use only 10 coupons.

T9 Skill On Dine or Unicorn

• The horse gets branded at level 1
• Start with a Courser’s spirit, double jump, and earth of life
• Only use the skill change coupon when the horse did not learn a skill at all (levels 4, 14, and 17)
• You can level it up even if you did not learn the skill at level 22
• Wait until level 28 to roll off the Courser’s spirit
• At level 30, roll-off caution skill for sideways
• In total, you will only use 7 coupons

Conclusion

So it may look confusing and hard to level up your horse. But it is worth it to try and level them up. With this guide above, it will become easier, and you will have your T9 horse for the continuous journey in Black Desert online.

Firstly, if you don’t have a Garmoth Heart, I suggest you choose one of the crystal setups that use Ah’ krad crystals in your awakening weapon or Olucas crystals.

That will also work if you only have a Karanda Heart for your awakening weapon, but this can be considered the best end-game crystal slot setup, so we assume you know it all. The first one here is the pure PvE setup. Now for PvE, I find that the adamantine crystals are extremely important for any class.

As for the mobs, the main CC they have is a knockdown. Having a knockdown in PvE would not only mean that you’re going to take a lot of damage, but it also means that you are not dealing damage as well. 

Hence, making sure you don’t get CC’d would help you to increase your clear speed by quite a lot, so in my opinion, these are compulsory for PvE setups. Now, as for the rest of the gems, we will go with Hoom in helmets and Hoom in the chest. 

This one here is the one that’s like very heavy into the PvE setup, and you’ll see that in all the PvP build afterward. For gloves, Jin Vipers would be the best, and we will use these in every setup of our gearing. As for PvE, it goes for all the builds with DR.

Damage Reduction(DR) Crystals – Part 2

Next is the cookie-cutter PvP build, and again it will cost no surprise there. You will see that some people may use a Nouver, but you should always have a Kutum in a DR build for PvE, and you should always use corrupted crystals in your Kutum for PvE. 

Now, your awakening weapon, we would be running the glorious Ah’ krad crystals, as they are the best ones for PvE damage. 

However, if you can’t get the glorious crystals, a normal Ah’krad crystal would also be sufficient for a pure PvE-focused build. Your main hand weapon will be Elkarr, and you will also see Elkarr in every single one of these builds.

For your Nouver Rebellious crystals, which can be considered criminally underrated crystals, it is super good as it provides you with plenty of HP for a high level of survivability and a bonus of +5 AP. 

I would usually use adamantine in the cookie-cutter build as well, as it’s just an excellent crystal, and knockdowns are the most potent CC in PvP, as it doesn’t allow you to use V if you get knocked down. 

It also lasts slightly longer compared to bounds and stiffens. Hence, it can be considered the most powerful CC to get hit by; therefore, resistance against it is very strong. In the helmet, we’re going to go with Hoom, and in the chest, we’re going to go with BON Crystal of Honor – special evasion. 

These are the best PvP survivability gems, so I would advise you to get these gems. Remember that if you can’t get glorious, you may use the normal blue crystal evasion gem, which would be fine.

If using Nouver, use the Rebellious Spirit Crystal

Other options are JIN Glorious Crystal of Courage – Ignore Grapple Resistance.

Evasion Crystals – Part 1

For the evasion setup, we again have a pure PvE build starting, and we go with the Hoom in the chest and JIN Vipers in the gloves. 

Even for evasion, you will still need the accuracy to hit the mobs. One of the things about slightly interesting evasion is that you will be running Kudum both in PvE and in PvP. 

So for PvE, you will always want to be running corrupted crystals, but when we go over into the PvP build, you will probably be running corrupted crystals because you don’t have the luxury of mixing and matching.

However, for pure PvE, no question about its corrupted crystals should be in your offhand, and your awakening weapons would be matched with glorious Ah’krad as they are quite powerful. 

Elkar should be in your main hand and Hooms in boots. The one gem that makes the build distinctive from the DR evasion build is the JIN Magic Crystal – Harphia in your helmet. 

They are compulsory for any evasion builds, as they will be in every one of these builds you will see. You will always want to be running the 20 evasions. However, if you can’t get the JIN Magic Crystal – Harphia, you may also use the JIN Magic Crystal – Bun alternatively.

Evasion Crystal – Part 2

As for the PvP cookie cutter build, we again would use the JIN Magic Crystal – Harphia, and I would ignore them on the rest of the build as they’re there on every single one. 

As soon as we’re going into the PvP builds, we would look for the special evasion in the chest as it’s an amazing crystal, and it can be the blue version up to the JIN Magic Crystal – Harphia if you can get them as it is the best. 

We would still be running the Viper, and on the offhand, we would still use the corrupted crystals, whereas in the DR build, we were running a different crystal for survivability. We don’t have that luxury in the evasion build.

Suppose we’re doing a build with no adamantine and no Olucas crystals. In that case, we will get a quite balanced overall build. Besides that, we would also switch into the Olucas in your awakening weapon, Elkars, and we are now running adamantine in boots. 

So now we’re running Hoom in your boots, JIN Magic Crystal – Harphia in the helmet, special evasion in the chest, PEN Leebur in gloves, corrupted crystals in offhand, but we’re running Hoom in awakening so awakening boots with Hooms and Elkarr in gloves. 

This might be an option if you value survivability more than offensive pressure, which is very likely since you’re already building tanky with evasion.

Other options:

Today we will look into the guide on unlocking and using the Marni wave music system. It allows you to play music while riding your horse, traveling around the game, doing some afk cooking, and other things. While doing all these things, this ambiance music will be a peaceful companion and a drive to continue this excellent game.

Questline Basic and Wacky Toshi

The questline for this is very simple and more like a PSA and the answer to the questionnaire you don’t want to screw up. This music section has some unique features you don’t want to miss out on because it is pretty neat and only takes two seconds to do it.

To do this questline, you need to find the NPC Wacky Toshi.

This NPC is located throughout the black desert world, and you can also use the find NPC function on the top corner of your screen. You need to type in Toshi in the search bar, and you can locate the location of that particular NPC. Pick the closest Wacky Toshi NPC to you. 

Quests

Make sure you have all the available quests in your quest log. If you cannot see all the quests, then make sure you have enabled the all quests button which is equivalent to the O key on the keyboard. Once you reach the NPC Wacky Toshi, click the quest tab and see the Marni wave “Marni’s invention” questline.

Accept the quest, and you will be given a series of questions you need to answer to complete that quest. The answer would be, “

1. Oh great Marni!
2. The best Marni!
3. For all of it except the last one would be Wacky Toshi.

Once done, you will get the reward.

Go to your inventory and find the Marni Wave warranty box. Right-click the box and open it.

Once done, go back to Wacky Toshi, chat with him, show him the warranty box, and unlock the Marni Wave item.

Playing The Music

Once done, you will have a tab where you can hit the play button. There are tons of music here and options for you to skip if you don’t like it.

You can also set it to auto once you are riding your house, but once you unmount, it will stop. To bring it back up, you need to click the escape button on the keyboard, click adventure, and click on Marni wave.
